Well if you research the Troodon, you will find that it has highly advanced behavior and senses, and if had not gone extinct, could rival smartasses today. These dinosaurs. They are not extinct. Another thing is, they are not new to combat. They can mimic human kicks and tactics and such. And theier arms are not short porportion wise as the T-rex. Their arms are very similar to ours, though not as long they make up for that range in having advanced fighting capability due to their claws. And it has been discovered that they may have been capable of holding some objects. Aswell as, if they fight the same opponent a second time, they may have addapted to them, giving them the upperhand where they didnt previously. They have a body mass about the same as a medium sized human, thought weighing more, however they can run at speed of 50-60 mph. And they can spit irritative spit-stuff. Take that and put it into a pack of dinosaurs bred to fight and hunt. Theres some of it. :)

That still doesn't support your claim of them bieng able to beat powered characters well enough. For example, i'd say that Ido is way out of their range even if he doesn't use any of his magic. With superb spatial awareness, incredible reach when using pollaxes and a modicum of toughness, he could take on three dinos with ease.

Sounds like we need some jerk that could perhaps host some kind of tournament or something with these Dinos in it and all these mentioned characters that could take them down and have perhaps some kind of all out brawl fest or something. I don't know. Whoever it is, perhaps his name could start with an L. L is pretty cool. Wow, I'm in a sarcastic mood today. I also discovered smilies, apparently.

To seamlessly change the topic of conversation, thinking back to the God fight made me realise how many awesome moments I've had in Arena (here or elsewhere), and I've been trying to rank the top three, I was wondering if anyone else would care to try and rank their own favorite moments.

My top 3 in no particular order

1. The entire god battle, mainly the Ride of the Valkyries and Eating a Planet (which had hilarious OOC consequences)
2. The Clockwork Man's battle with the Mass Effect universe Bounty Hunter in NOW tournament (I think it was Sikako, honestly can't remember.)
3. Somehow getting to the finals in WOTW, despite the first round being my third ever arena battle and having next to no knowledge of how swords and shields even work, and also being a little underpowered.

There are so many more I'd struggle to name them all, but these are some of my favorite moments.

That was the hilarious consequence, certainly.

In a nutshell, one of my opponents was some sort of creature attached to its home planet. When it detached to fight someone else I had my character (The god of madness, Daeh) turn into a huge intergalactic apple, float into space, and attempt to consume this home planet. I had no idea if it would actually do anything, I just thought it would be hilarious.

(If you have any questions on why any of these random things happened, feel free to ask, I love talking about this fight.)

My opponent then for some reason assumed I'd force-hit a planet and called a moderator in while I was sleeping, the moderator was a Guild Fighter and looked fairly confused about the situation, decreeing that I hadn't actually done anything wrong.

Weirdly the fight kind of dried up after that, rather than getting some sort of hilarious ending, but it was still fucking hilarious.

Also, Ride of the Valkyries was a specific moment (which I referenced when Rilla talked about his open to anyone challenge a few days back) where my character had a fleet of flying Melons descend upon the battlefield sewing devastation, all to that specific orchestral song. (which was being played by giant speaker-melons.)
