What if, for example, Byzantium manages to push back the Ottomans and reform part of their Empire. Another example is what if instead of Spain in 1492 forming colonies in the Americas, the Chinese in the 900 hundreds get to the Americas instead. These events, and thousands more, are up to you to create.
Welcome to Historical Madness, a Nation Roleplay that begins in the year 1936, because of reasons. History, the fragile thing, is up to you to change. Nations that actually existed during the time, such as Germany, can be changed or even erased, and nations that didn't exist during the time, such as the , can now exist. This may make it look like only historical nations can be changed, and yes, while events must focus around historical nations, you are allowed to make new nations that connect to history. Such as a majority Chinese California, or a Majority German South America.
While you are allowed to change history, there are some limits. You can't just make it so Hitler was never born, that would completely ruin it for people who want to come in later on. So here is the limit through time that you can change history, 3600 BC - 1865 AD. From the Foundation of Sumer to some random year I chose. This will at least give most people time to create some interesting history overall, such as for say, Byzantium survives, an Alternate World War 1 happens, Byzantium is given the German treatment, and the Alternate World War 2 is a Greek Hitler.
