I mentioned the French revolution, two major wars, and the fact that I sold most of my colonies to them. That is over half of my history edits.

Maybe France was always part of the Prussian-Hungary Empire and you were selling colonies and dealing with the Prussian-Hungary Empire instead of France during your history.

Also, in serious response, I mentioned aid in the French revolution an the seven years war.If you go before both of hose, you need a democratic revolution before I support you. If you take it in-between, I may help you if you are a democracy. If you take it after the French revolution, I aid France and would win due to my power at that time.

Because he saw how powerful you are and the other power would be me so he decides to go with the person who owns the mainland. Also you own at least a quarter of the world losing france wouldn't hurt you that much.

You realize France also controls all of SE Asia thanks to me loaning my colonies, as well as most African colonies. race would also control most of Brazil, Portuguese colonies, various dutch colonies, in fact, every Portuguese/British/French/Spanish/Dutch/Danish colony not belonging to me belongs to France. That is a large nation. Due to the fact that there are too many colonies for me to hold with a clear conscious, I would say France sold you any of those, or maybe awarded them duet something. However, the french main;land is too critical to my history.

So you're basically saying... you've made france you're puppet and you just don't want to make it look like you own a hole heap of land. Why'd you make history for a country you nor anyone else controls...

Because, I needed a puppet to sell my colonies to and have a reasonable ally in the colonial wars. I choose France because they had a democratic revolution not dissimilar to the oneI gave Britain, so they were natural friends.

But you made their histroy along with your own. I'm saying you basically created 2 nations.

Last post to convince me, I feel this spiraling. Also, you're one to talk. You have Prussia, Austria, Hungary, Belgium and I believe a few Balkan states. That is more colonies than you would think. France alone would also give you most of SE Asia anyways, not to mention French West Africa and Canada and the Louisiana territory.
EDIT IN RESPONSE TO ABOVE POST (We were writing at the same time): I asked if that was legal for story purposes, and the response was yes.
