Phoebe
Despite everything, Phoebe managed to smile, "You're my friend. There are never any thanks needed, for kindness between friends" She said, taking a deep breath, she rose, and looked around as well.
There wasn't much more they could do tonight. And home was pretty much the safest place they could be, for now. In the middle of a major city, it didn't seem likely that whoever did this would attack there. There was no inclination that they would attack normal humans.
of course, she couldn't be sure of that, but there was nothing they could do about that.
"You can't be alone tonight, Mako. I don't think any of us should be. You can stay with us" Phoebe offered softly
Kalinda
Kalinda watched the school grounds, hidden in the shadows. In both hands, she held a dagger. Just in case, although she didn't expect anyone to attack the remains of the school again.
That didn't mean there wasn't danger.
Her eyes followed Arnold, and her eyes narrowed. Kalinda had never warmed to Arnold, and expected she never would. One day, she would find a way to bring both Griffin and Zack as the main personalities but right now, Arnold more generally had the show.
She flung a dagger, and it soared through the air to land in front of him.
Seconds later, she appeared.
"You won't get what you want, Arnold. As I understand it, Stark has already put into motion funding for a new school, and I"m sure Mrs Allen will also do such. And the other teachers. As well as myself. I'll take great pleasure in thawting whatever plans you have" she said in a monotone voice.
"Or did you forget you actually have to own the grounds and the remaining school buildings to actually do something?" She scooped up her dagger, "Not so good at the plans, are you?" and she disappeared into the shadows once more, continuing her vigil over the school.
