[OOC] State of Heroes and Villains

A fun way to look up superheroes? Go to the Superpower Wiki and select a random power. Guarntee someone from either Marvel or DC has it.

Plus we can always say the heroes had more children than just ours. Maybe they split remarried and had another kid who was ten years old during the original Academy RP and couldn't attend yet. Or maybe they are the younger full blooded sibling to one of our existing characters.

I'm okay with a new thread. One we can actually control and won't have the GM vanishing. Perhaps we should have different people have the first IC, OOC, and Character tabs so we don't get stuck the same way.

If we want a fresh start but don't necessarily want to make all new characters we could have it be a different universe. I've done RPs like that, where I remake a character but maybe they're younger, or older, or whatever. A reimagining. But I only ever did a couple characters. Everything else was new.

I kinda like the idea of a reimagining. I could try to make Flood a little more serious or actually have him reveal his name. I only revealed his name once, anyone remember what it was? But that's besides the point, I think I prefer a fresh start instead of having some sort of Neo-Academy. Is that right? Neo-Academy? That sounds right.

Does it have to only be limited to Marvel and DC? Why not open it to all heroes and villains? That way you could throw in others like Dark Horse Comics, which would open a ton more parents to chose from. Changing how your character behaves is optional. Only those that want to try something different can. We can pick and choose elements we want to be the same and ones we want different.

It isn't our only option. We do lose some continuity by doing a alternate universe. We could move forward past this part of history. But it dos seem to have left a bad taste to the RP.

I agree with Caits. The selection is already quite large to be honest. It would just be of characters not immidiatly thought of.

Yeah. But so much happened, and so much changed, that writing Connor as anything but how I had him at the end of the first one will just be too hard
