Background Orthak was raised in a nomadic tribe filled with members of all races, a group of misfits. Those who weren't welcome in society wandering in the wilds and were often picked up by this roaming group. A half-orc was unwelcome among humans, despised as crude, smelly, ugly. Orcs viewed him as weak, scrawny, pathetic. Scorned by both paths of his heritage Orthak was one of these wanderers, found by this nameless tribe and adopted by them. He quickly adapted to the skills needed, use of a bow came naturally to him and Orthak demonstrated an exceptional eye for aiming. Sneaking was something of a different story, he was rather flat footed by nature and was often reprimanded for his, "loud feet". Of course an orc's natural tendency to fighting displayed itself in his skill with a blade and he quickly proved himself to be a ferocious swordsman. A basic life and rather pleasant with nothing more than the day to day routine of finding food and the occasional squabble. However Orthak slowly tired of this simple life and desired something greater and left the group of nomads.
