Wy sat in the corner of the inn's restaurant/bar area where people living there hung out. She was skimming a book of recorded vampires, hoping to find some information on her father.

The car was silent except for the sound of the tires on pavement and the soft music playing in the background. The man sitting in the drivers seat glanced in the rearview mirror, spotting a white head poking out from beneath the blanket covering the small body. Nate smiled at the sleeping child, the expression quickly turning sad when the girl shifted in her slumber and one thin arm slipped out from underneath the blanket. Nate tried to contain his anger at the sight of the bandages covering the girls arm and the rest of her limbs as well as the patch over her left eye. How anybody could do this to a child escaped him and he was angry for himself for not getting the child out sooner. Hopefully the place he was taking her would keep her safe. He had called up an old friend that resided at said place who agreed to take care of the child. This was also supposed to be a place where people like Autumn could be themselves and stay safe. It would be good for her to grow up around her own kind.

He was brought from his inner thoughts as he spotted the correct road and turned off on it, following it until he arrived at the Inn. He parked and gazed at it for a moment. It looked like any other Inn though he knew appearances could be deceiving. Nate turned the car off and got out, quietly opening the back door and gently scooping up the slumbering girl without waking her. He slung the meager possessions he could grab for her on the run over his shoulder, tucked Garry the rabbit under the blanket with the child and carried her over to the door. He could have easily shifted Autumn's weight to one arm seeing as the child was barely heavier than a jug of milk however before he could do so there was a click as the door opened on its own. "Thanks Aiden." He quietly told the spirit as he stepped inside with his precious bundle, looking around to see if he could spot his friend.

Name was waiting in the lobby area writing unenthusiasticly in his notes. What Nate had said over the phone had deeply troubled him and over worked his imagination. He knew government and public opinion was low of the supernatural with groups like the Inquisition and Nightshade Security but this deeply troubled the old doctor.
It was always Stanley's belief that as scientist we must always be humane about research and discovery that the line into savagery must never be crossed. It was for these same reasons he never drank blood or tested his cures on anyone but himself. Why should anyone else suffer because of his affliction?

He knew Nate for a long time. Grew up with him and made it through medical school with him. When Name was bitten he lost everything his family, his clinic, his life.
The only one from the old days who knew were Name was is Nate who helped sneak him equipment to start a rudimentary lab in his room. He took a drink from his coffee and watched the door. Minutes later Nate walked in with the child bundled in his arms. Name stood up and walked over to his old friend. When he say the state Autumn was in and her clutching the rabbit in her sleep it broke his heart.
"How is she?" Name asked sadly.

Eris walked out of her room sweating a bit since she just got through with her daily training. As she walked out the room she quickly closed the door to trap the heat inside and keep it warm. Eris walked down the hallway with a towel around her neck and made it to the bar area where she nodded to Wy and ordered a drink that was said to be at least a little alcoholic. As she waited she started cooling finally from her workout and she pulled her robe around her tighter as it got slightly colder. The bartender handed her her drink and she walked away after giving him her room number to charge, Eris sipped on the drink getting a little bit of warmth from the alcohol inside. Eris walked to the lobby and sat in a chair still drinking the beverage giving a small nod to Dr. Name before falling asleep with the drink in her lap.

Wy sighed and close her book. She wasn't going to find any information with how much was going through her mind.

Brooke walked through the doors, her black hair hanging around her face. It had been a week since she checked in here, and it had been 5 days since she had actually stayed. Since Brooke had the ability to shift at will it meant that her wolf was a bit more lively being able to come out on days that weren't full moons. Ever since the LunarTide was wiped out by a group of human soldiers with silver bullets she had been mourning for them. The past 5 days were spent burying the bodies of her pack at the pack memorial ground and giving them a proper farewell. Anyone within miles could hear the howl of a wolf in mourning.
The ex-Alpha was angry, exhausted, and depressed at this point. Thus why she headed straight for the bar. Other wolves in the vicinity bowed their head respectfully due to the power radiating off of her body. Other supernaturals just glanced up curiously as she sat down at the bar. She ordered the strongest alcoholic beverage knowing fully that it had no affect on the body of a werewolf. It was burned off fast enough that all it did was give a buzz. As Brooke drank she put her back to the bar looking out into the area in front of her watching everyone silently with her blue eyes, ignoring the wolf of hers whimpering from the pain from the loss of her pack, a sound only Brooke could hear.

Wy stood up grabbing her book and walked over to the bar. She sat down a seat over from Brooke. She ordered a glass of water. She had been living here since the inn first came to be so she was known around the inn.

Aza walked into the lobby, she had been wondering around the grounds of the inn. She had walked had needed some time to think. In over 2000 years of life she has never had a friend that lived as long as she had. Many of them had been killed and she hadn't made many friends since then. Sure she had talked to people but never actually befriended them. She had developed a a severe case of talking to herself. She walked to the counter and grabbed a new key because her ditzyness caused her to losing hers.

Nate gave Name a sad smile as he gently shifted the bundle in his arms. "As well as she could be, considering. She fell asleep not too long after we made a run from the facility, poor thing. I almost got caught but thankfully the guards were too focused on the end if their shift to really look. So I only told you so much over the phone, not wanting to be overheard. I told you about Aiden. Now, please don't question Autumn on what's happened to her, let her tell you when she is ready. Here's everything I could grab for her." Nate said as he shrugged the duffle bag off his shoulder and set it down by his feet. He knew he could no longer prevent the inevitable so he gently untucked the blanket from around the sleeping child as long snow white hair spilled down his arm now that it was no longer contained by the blanket and gently shook her awake.

A large aquamarine eye blinked open, the other one covered by a eye patch as it looked blearily up at Nate. Bandaged fingers rose up to rub sleepily at the eye. Nate gently knelt and set Autumn on her feet, the tiny girl looking around in confusion. The man smiled sadly at the girl, brushing her long hair back behind her ear.

"Autumn sweetie, you remember what I talked to you about before we left?" There was a pause before Autumn nodded quietly. "Well this is my friend Dr. Stanley Name. He's going to be taking care of you from now on alright? I'll visit you when I can. You be a good girl for me okay princess?" Autumn nodded, stepping forward to wrap her thin arms around his neck. Nate hugged her back, fighting off tears as he pulled back and kissed her forehead before he stood. "Take good care of her for me okay?" He told Name as he shook his hand before he turned and exited the Inn.

Autumn stood there for several minutes, staring at the closed door before she shifted around and stared up at Name. She was silent before she held out her stuffed pink rabbit. "This is Garry. And that's Aiden." She said in a soft voice, pointing to the air above her head. "He says hi."

Name got down on one knee so that he was about eye level with Autumn. Shaking the hands of Autumn and the toy rabbit he said kindly them. "It's a pleasure to meet all three of you." Name looks up to where Autumn pointed out Aiden. "Hello Aiden." Turning back to the child he then said, "you must be starving after a long car trip why don't we sit down, order something to eat, get to know each other a little." Said the doctor with a inviting smile.

Lyx was walking up the road toward the inn, he had never been to the place before, as he came upon the inn an went through the entrance he caught the scent of a dragon and a werewolf. he went toward the front desk to get a key for a room walking up next to a white haired girl that guessed was a unicorn based on the horn sticking out of her head.

Aza looked toward the male who and walked up the desk next to her. She gave him a quick grin and a wave before the clerk started scolding her. "This is the third key you lost, you have to keep better track of them. We are going to have to start tying them to your horn if you keep losing them." This caused Aza to shrug before responding with her typical. "I'm old, what do you expect, old people forget things." To which the clerk replied with the usual, "Compared to other of your kind you are quite young, stop pulling the old card." The unicorn then took the key and turned to the male next to her. "You are new here aren't you?" She questioned in her normal happy tone.

Autumn looked up at the doctor for a few moments, contemplating what he offered. She was rather hungry seeing as she didn't have time to eat when Nate took her from the mean place. She nodded at Name, hugging her stuffed animal to her chest as her eye wandered around the Inn. She spotted a few people sitting here and there with drinks and when her eyes alighted on a girl with white hair her eyes widened. She had a horn! Was she a unicorn? Nate read her a story about unicorns once. Aiden didn't like it, he liked the stories about dragons more. She examined the girl for a few more moments before she turned her attention back to Name, brushing her bangs out of her face as she gazed up at him. She didn't really know what to make of him. He was nice sure but there was something...different about him. He didn't feel like Nate did.

The child's brow furrowed as she tried to work it out. She looked up suddenly at the air next to her and seemed to be listening to something before she turned her attention back to the doctor. "You're not human. Aiden says you're like me." She told him softly, gazing up at him. "Well, sort of like me. You seem...different..." She tried to explain, growing slightly frustrated when she was unable to find the word to elaborate on what she was trying to portray.

Name chuckled inside at that statement. Nate had mentioned over the phone that she was half. "I suppose I am in a certain sense. Way I see it you have half of what makes Nate special and half of what makes me... different. You and me have some vampire I us."(he didn't want to call his vampirism special) He followed her eyes to Aza at the counter. Forgetful girl, he found her room key in his coffee cup of all places this morning.

"In fact kiddo your gonna find a lot of different kinds of special here. Would you like to meet the pretty lady at the counter, I can introduce you after she's done talking." He asked friendly not pushing her in any way he didn't want to overwhelm the poor kid. Still not every day a girl got to meet a real live unicorn.

Still he was a little nervous about the newcomer. Despite appearance the kid looked like one of the more ancient vampires.

"Aye" Lyx said as he got a key from the clerk and turned to the unicorn girl "i've never been here before" he continued, returning a friendly grin to the girl

As Eris slept her drink started boiling slightly with the increase of her body temperature. The hot liquid suddenly cooled and lightly frosted over as her breathing became lighter and her temperature fluxuated, that was until she felt more people enter the area. When she felt a more ancient energy appear in the hotel she awoke to see a new girl there with dr. Name and sat up grabbing the drink before it fell to the ground. Eris watched the people in the room with a curious eye even though she knew two of them were normals there, 'I could really use a dip in the hot tub' she thought as she stood up and walked past the group clapping the doctor on the back as she walked out of the lobby towards the back area that had different types of hot tubs but there was one further away made of steel and full of molten rock that was far beyond the heat that normal human skin would be able to handle. Eris walked over to it and slipped in, taking off her robe revealing a red and black two piece underneath, she leaned against the side of the tub and relaxed, a black scaled tail poked out from under the magma and swirled it around moving the heated areas around causing it to glow more

Aza's smile got brighter. "So what brings you here? Are you planning on staying long or are you just passing through?" She questioned happily. She enjoyed new people it gave her a chance to talk about new and old things alike. Sometimes she worried that her friendly manor made people hate her but she couldn't help it, it was simply in her nature. Maybe that was why her kind used to stick to themselves, but now it was harder to find another of her kind. Back when she was young her kind was hunted for there horns or captured for their magic so there was so few of them that it was rare to find more than one in a location at a time.

Wy closed her eyes and tried to sense what races were around her as she span around on her bar chair. Her blue curls flew behind her as she span.

Autumn stood there for a few moments, processing what it was he told her. Nate had already explained to the child she was different but it was a good different. Well, the other doctors never thought so; they always called her a freak. She didn't know what that meant but it didn't sound nice. The Dhampir looked around the Inn once more, her eyes falling on a girl with blue hair. She tilted her head to the side slightly. This girl felt different but...familiar somehow. She felt Aiden nudge her mind and it hit her that this girl was exactly like her. She wanted to go over and speak to her but Name captured her attention once more. Her eyes widened at what he offered and the child looked at the girl with the horn before looking back at him and nodding. The bandaged child hugged Garry closer to her chest, gazing at the white-haired girl. She was going to get to meet a unicorn!

"I had heard of this place awhile back" Lyx said "I think i am going to stay awhile", this unicorn girl was quite friendly, if fact she was the first friendly person he's met in quite some time. @LostDestiny
