Spinel cocked his head to the side. The whole situation seemed a bit strange. How long did he know about her? How did he find her? And why...? One way or another, he only really had one guess as to what could be done next.

"A letter? Do you still have it? It could be a useful clue. Or have one, anyway."

"Oh boy..." Spinel tried his best not to cringe at the suggestion. Searching through this entire mess would take quite some time, and he couldn't see much organization to even attempt following. He wasn't particularly neat himself, but even he wondered how she managed for so long like this. "Well, I guess there's only one way, then. I have almost no knowledge of the situation still, but something tells me that letter's our best bet. And you need a nest to sleep in again, anyway. hopping off the cluttered bed, the redhead started picking up books and placing them in stacks against the wall. If he ran out of space, he'd move everything in one area into a pile for the time being and sort through it once he could clear enough books to see any patches of floor.

"So, is there anything we do know, then? Anything at all? Or do we have to keep ourselves distracted until we're done with the housekeeping?"

"The most I've been able to gather is that there is someone in this inn that relays information to him and that he is somewhere in the city, but he's hidden his tracks well." Wy said as she gathered up a arm full of books and set them against the wall. "If we need another space to put books or papers I have a filing cabinet and bookshelf in my closet." She said as she started to gather another armful of books.

As Name guided Autumn over to the sink, the child was quiet as she climbed back up onto the chair and obediently stuck her hurt arm under the water of the sink. She winced at the stinging sensation it produced but Aiden helped by sending calming waves to her through the bond. As the bandaged child stood at the sink, the stinging on her arm faded away she felt a bit better as the burning faded a little as well. Her arm was still red though but she could tell the cold water was helping.

"Okay, that's something. So we can't just tell everyone things about what's going on without *huff* careful consideration, then." The redhead drooped a small stack of books on one tower with a loud grunt, placing both hands on his lower back once they left his grasp. "Hah...Darn, I must be out of practice. Or these are just really heavy...that one was pretty thick. But yeah, maybe we should see what we can fit on that bookshelf. Why didn't you just use that before?"

Shaking his head with mock disapproval, he eventually pushed a few more maps and other items out of his path in an attempt to reach the closet. He had to see about how much of the mess could be contained by the suggested furnishings, after all. "So, we still have to let everyone know about the incoming danger, though. At the very least, we could start with someone we really trust and tell the rest later when we have a better idea of what's happening. I doubt that we'll be able to just suddenly find a guy like that, though, so we'll have to come up with another plan. I think it's best to avoid contact with our limited knowledge anyway, though."

"Ah...any other suggestions so far? I can list everything that comes into my head, but you know, birdbrain here."

Name gently dried Autumn's arm with some paper towels. And retrieved some gauze to rewrap her arm. While gingerly wrapping her arm Name told Autumn with his characteristic smile and gentle voice, "There we go good as new! Don't worry about it it'll heal in no time! Now how about we finally have that breakfast?" Name asked thinking of his coffee quickly cooling on the table.

Halfway through their improvised meal Name asked Autumn, "I need to pick up a few things, stuff like groceries, a new bed, some extra clothes for you, maybe some toys? If your feeling up for it would you like to come along?" Name asked politely.

"I don't want to rush the poor thing." Name thought to himself, "But she needs to start being more comfortable with people and her surroundings. Plus I have no idea what kids these days like. Dam! Am I really getting that old?"

"For now if we're telling people we should tell one other person. Who knows how many people could blather to someone else." Wy said as she though for a moment. "We need to find out who that informant is. Then maybe we could get somewhere. Also I try to use that bookshelf...I just forget to put books away."

Autumn held still as Name dried her arm off then re-bandaged it with some gauze. When he was done Autumn examined her arm. It didn't hurt as much as it had, stinging some if she moved her arm the wrong way or touched the blistered skin. At Name's suggestion of breakfast Autumn nodded and hopped down from the chair, Aiden pushing it back into place at the table then gently lifting Autumn up into the seat. The child swung her legs back and forth gently as she ate her breakfast. When Name mentioned going to the store Autumn nodded, eyes lighting up when he mentioned toys. "Toys?! Like balls? Nate brought me a ball once. It was purple and really pretty!" Autumn told Name in an excited voice before proceeding to name off all the games she and Nate played with the ball, Aiden sometimes playing as well. "I've never been to a store before. Is it big? What do they have there?"

Name smiled at Autumns enthusiasm and started to answer her questions."Sorry but all the really big places close at night but i know several that stay open late for people like us. Depends on the story but all of them have interesting stuff you never know what will find. We can go After we eat but first i need to visit a friend in the inn and see about getting a new bed from him. And don't worry kid i'm sure we can find a ball!"

After Their meal Name put on his shoes and grabbed his key he also started one of his little tests. Ground up garlic and cilantro wads in his nose and raw mint to chew on along with his coffee. The assault on his olfactory senses would prevent any unwelcome... hunger pangs from being around so many humans. Luckily his little defenses weren't very noticeable from a casual observer.

Autumn nodded and hurried to finish her food before she scrambled down from her chair. She darted into the bedroom and knelt beside her duffle bag, rooting through it until she found what she was looking for. A long-sleeved shirt and some jeans. People were always taken aback by her bandages and she knew they made some of the other doctors uneasy before. So she would hide them. She padded into the bathroom and shut the door before lifting her dress over her head. She slipped on the shirt and jeans before she climbed up onto the sink with Aiden's help. She stared at herself in the mirror, hand raising up to touch the bandage over her eye. The eye itself was a pale, pale blue and didn't move around like her other eye. She decided to leave the patch on and exited the bathroom. The only visible bandages now were on her hands and ace but those weren't as noticeable. She shoved her shoes on and scampered over to Name, eyes alight with excitement.

"We'll have to write you a reminder later," Spinel murmured as he assessed the bookshelf. It probably could hold quite a few books, though he wasn't sure if they could all really fit. Then again, they didn't need to fit all of them; just most of them. The filing cabinet could probably hold all the more miscellaneous items, and he was pretty sure there was probably a desk somewhere under the mess. Maybe.

"As for people...I guess...who do you trust? Is there anyone we know for sure who can be ruled out as an informant? I guess that's a little hard to just decide, though. If they want to keep that knowledge a secret, then they're probably doing everything they can to keep it from being obvious."

Name smiled and ruffled Autumn's hair in affection. "Let's go kiddo!" Name said walking out the door.

First they went downstairs to a residents room a werewolf named Ben. He and Name were good friends and they tended to get along when they were around each other. Through their latest conversation he mentioned how he was going to move back into the human world now that his pack was no longer at the inn. He was selling some of his old things including an old bed.

He rang the doorbell and waited a few moments holding Autumn's hand. "Dr. Name! How the hell are ya!" Ben greeted warmly embracing the Name tightly. "Good pal... umm Ben? Your hurting me." Name said low on breath. "Huh? Or sorry there doc. Forgot that you weigh less then a scarecrow. And who's this little bat?" He said jovialy looking down at Autumn.

As Autumn followed Name out the door, she shut it behind her. As she headed towards the stairs she passed a room and a flicker of red caught her attention. Through the open door she caught sight of Spinel. The child didn't enter or poke her head inside because that would be rude but she did wave at him from the hallway. "Spinel! We're going to the store!" She called out in an excited voice, waved again before scampering down the stairs after Name.

She followed him over to a door and watched as a man opened the door. The two embraced before the man turned towards Autumn. The child, one hand holding onto@Cuddle Pot the leg of Name's pants shyly waved before hiding behind the mans leg. "I-I'm Autumn and that's Aiden." She said, pointing up at the air above her.
