This is a super early interest check to see if there are people on these forums who even know the game.
Dragon's Dogma! I'm not gonna waste letters describing the lore, assuming that the two people who check in here know what I'm talking about. I'm considering to run an RP inside this lore, being somewhat like the Bitterblack Islands story, but with a twist (that I'm not gonna disclose as of now). For this, we'd need a small group of players:
- one Arisen (yes, I am not playing the Arisen!)
- their main pawn (oh snap, I'm not playing that one either!)
- at least one more sub-pawn-player
-> since the Arisen will likely be changing sub-pawns regularly, this opens the somewhat unique opportunity to have one or multiple players play a whole array of pawn-characters. Downside is you shouldn't get too attached to your characters, upside is they can have heroic deaths, try different ideas and whatnot. Considering that 4 people in total is a bit low we could even stretch the party frame a bit and go with a 5 or 6 man party, but I would prefer not to exceed that limit. HOWEVER, it is possible for people to drop in/out on this slot as they like. Play a pawn or two for some quick fun if they fancy.
I will be playing a sub-pawn that stays with the group, for reasons some of which follow below.
The general idea is that our Arisen is on their way to fulfill the dragon's quest when they pick up a group of pawns as usual. Unusually, one of the pawns appears to be mute, however (no "Look master, snow harpies!"?!). At first the group will simply do some adventuring, traveling, dragon-quest-fulfilling and such, but the Arisen will soon learn that there's more to the mute pawn than meets the eye. For starters, it's clutching a magick bow, a weapon pawns usually can't use. At some point more of my pawn's background will be revealed and the Arisen will decide to go after this sidequest for some extra loot find out about the mystery of the magick archer pawn, delving into a Bitterblack-esque story I have half-figured out at this point.
So, anybody with me?

Nutshelled premise:
