[IC] Orphanage for Supernatural Kids

"Alright children lets focus. Who would like to go next?" The housekeeper asked looking around.

[Shoe Thief]

Welp..stew was ready early...He put it on a simmer again hoping it wont burn.

He figured this was a decent time to go to the store and grab some things he needed to fix the gym. he hoped the new kids were not going to completely trash the place.

He went out to his pickup truck and attempted to start it, the engine was giving him problems but it did start. Took about 20 minutes to get to the hardware store. He didn't like going out in public, he knew people feared his kind, how many he didn't know. He didn't want to find out today. His main fear was getting into a fight, last major fight he got in was when he served int he military...Ended in the deaths of 8 people. He didn't want a recreation of that event.

Once inside he grabbed some cement and lumber to try and fix up the gym. He has some spare wires at the Orphanage in case some electrical was broken so he would worry about that another time. He decided to get some new tools as well, most of his were starting to break. A new screwdriver set, rubber mallet, long wrench, and spray on rubber. The rubber may not be as much for work but to have fun.

@KatherinWinter Crap. I might as well get this over with. Torak get's up and makes his way out onto the floor, turned ice rink, being careful not to slip. He stops 8 feet in and turns around to face them. After hesitating for a minute he uses his left hand to pull his right sleeve to revel a few scars that his shirt hides. He reaches into his left pocket and pulls out something that he tries to keep hidden(a small knife) and moves it across one of the scars before putting it back in his pocket. Blood starts leaking from the cut when it starts moving like it has a mind of its own while the cut stops bleeding. It twists and turns in the air then makes a beeline for his right hand where it becomes a dagger. He holds it up for people to see.

Jordan glanced over at her and grinned softly, trying to show he wasn't really worried too much about it though it was actually a partial lie to pretend so. "Hey, relax Sam. I only half believed her." He murmured before letting out a genuine laugh. "Your sister is an interesting character." Right after he said this he became distracted by the display going on in the center of the gym. he watched as the boy manipulated the blood and cringed slightly. "That's... creepy."

Sam looked at Jordan "Yeah, I'm normally relaxed, but this girl makes it hard to stay relaxed on some days" she said, motioning to Sarah.
Sarah stuck her tongue out.
Sam ignored it and looked at the boy who was holding up a dagger made of blood. "Um...."

"I think I like my power." Jordan decided with a small nod; slowly looking over at Sam. "So Dante can turn into different matter, I control the earth, Sarah has fun with electricity... What can you do ?"

"I'd rather not show."
"She'll faint if she does it" Sarah pointed out. "Is it sharp?" She asked the kid holding the blood dagger
"If I make it, the other things aren't so tiring."
"You'll still get tired, then I have to pull your fat butt back to the bedroom so you can sleep"
Sam was tempted to hit her sister again. But let out a sigh. She turned her attention back to Jordan "And before you ask, it is a diamond, not a large one, but still a diamond. And also, I can control carbon, that is my power, but I get tired easily, even if I don't use my power."

Jordan's eyes slowly widened as he listened to what she was saying, nodding slowly. "Carbon....huh? And diamonds?" His voice was a little bit higher than usual, and obviously something had gotten him excited. Diamonds. They were like drugs to him when he touched them, causing him to honestly just become the most agreeable and happy guy on the planet as long as it was to hint his skin, which typically meant he avoided them at all costs. "That's uh ... Cool."

"Very....interesting." The housekeeper said. Please dont forget to state your name. We have a lot of new people. Who would like to go next?"the housekeeper asked.

@Slypheed "It can be sharp if I want it to be. "Torak leaves the floor and takes a seat glad to be out of the "spotlight".

Sam looked at Jordan curiously. His voice had spiked when diamonds were mentioned. "Yes, Carbon. And you seemed excited when diamonds were mentioned." She moved in closer, her eyes the looked even more curious than her facial expression "Why?"

Sarah nodded when the kid said it can be sharp, but only if they wanted it to be. "Ok. Wish I could make weapons with my powers." She paused, then smiled "But I guess I wouldn't need too."

Jordan laughed slightly nervously, avoiding her piercing eyes as he shrugged slightly. "It's uh... It's nothing." He promised quickly. "Diamonds and me just have a odd relationship."

Sam pulled back. I'll find out somehow. Her eyes still showed curiosity, and were still locked on Jordan.
"Sis, you're being weird" said Sarah, as she took a quick look back, but it didn't seem to do anything. Sarah shook her head then looked at Jordan "If you feel creeped out by her stare, just touch her, should snap her out of it. Just be prepared for a hit, some times she gets so caught up she thinks she's being attacked when touched." She then turned her attention back to the boy who could do things with blood, waiting for him to say his name.

Jordan glanced at Sarah and gave a small nod of thanks, squirming uncomfortably under Sams never-ending gaze. Would she stop if he just told her? Or would he have to wake her up? "Sam... Uh... Look if you stop staring at me like that I'll tell you."

Sam just kept staring, seemingly unresponsive. Her whole body seemed to barely move, only motion coming from breathing. In truth, she was so lost in thought, that she stopped paying attention to the real world. The only reason the look on her eyes hadn't changed was because all her current thoughts were curiosities she had about Jordan.

@Slypheed "My name is Torak." He spins the dagger around and holds it out for her to grab. "Want to hold it?"

"Uh... Sam? Earth to Sam?" Jordan tried waving his hand in front of her face to get her attention, raising an eyebrow. "Hello? You there?" After she isn't respond e sighed and tensed up, getting ready to block any hitting se might down when he touched her. Once he was ready, he gently shook her shoulder. "Sam!"

Sarah smiled when she was offered to hold it. "My name's Sarah" she said as she grabs the dagger. While Sarah was looking at the dagger up close, she got an idea. "Hey, do you mind if I try something?"

Sam's body tensed and her arms jolted into a defensive position before one flew outwards in a punch. The punch just barely missing Jordan. Once she had come to realize what was going on, she pulled her arm back and curled up. Her face red with embarrassment. "Sorry! I didn't mean to"

Fortunately, Sarah's warning served well as Jordan raised his arm defenisvely. The punch wouldn't have connected, but if it had been goin to at least his arm would have taken the blow as opposed to his head. "No worries." He chuckled with a simple shrug. "Sarah warned me. Besides, your aim could use some work..."

@Slypheed "Nice to meet you. Be careful it's kind of sharp" Torak got a worried look on his face. "What are you going to try to do?"
