Name: Dante Louise Virmire

Power: Osmosis. She can absorb energy and properties of matter that she is in physical contact with.
Appearance:

Bio: Dante has lived on the streets fending for herself since she was ten. Her parents died in a fire when she was very young and no one else would take her in because of the... difficulties of dealing with her. Fires would start around her, even though there was nothing for her to start them with. Older children would complain that she hurt them, they would be covered in huge bruises and scratches, but she never had any kind of weapon on her. Eventually she was told that she was a freak and that everyone would be better off without her. So, she left and made a home for herself on the streets. As the years went by she taught herself how to use her abilities, as much as she could. She found that she could suck electricity from sockets, but she always had to expel it or she would get a searing pain all over her body. She could make her body turn into the same materials of whatever she was touching. (i.e. If she was grabbing a steel pipe her body would turn into steel.) But after a while (a few hours) she would always turn back into herself. she couldn't turn herself more than twice in one day, she would get horrible full body aches if she did. Eventually she ended up in illegal bare knuckle brawls, fighting for money. She would use her advantage of power to subtly swing the matches in her favor.(Concrete knuckles can go a long way in a fight) It wasn't long before she was being set up with bigger and bigger matches, she got quite a bit of money, and a fairly large reputation.
Then she got arrested...

Psycho-Kinetic Energy(PKE) Manipulation. In essence he can manifest and manipulate PKE, A form of physical psychic energy. Unlike normal psychic abilities though it is limited to a very small distance around him. There are two basic ways for him to manifest it: armor and blades, for now that is all he knows how to do.

Armor: He can focus the energy onto parts of his body, forming a body armor around himself. If encasing his head it will help guard against psychic attack as well. Though as of now he can only form in on one part of his body at a time as making requires concentration and he has to shift it with his own movements.

Reactive: Being pshchic in nature his powers are self-aware, and they want to be free. Because of this it will sometimes act on it's own protecting him from harm. It is aware of everything he is, and somethings that he isn't. It is limited to his own senses though, it can simply process information better then him. So if he can not hear it, feel it neither can the other inside of him.

Blades:by focusing the energy on his arms he can reshape it into blades, or hammers or any form of melee weapon really. Like his armor though it requires concentration.

Super strength: Not true super strength his power reinforces what ever part of his body it is protecting inside and out. Making that area stronger and more durable.

Future abilities:

Full Armor: With training he can cover more of hims self in that simple armor allowing complete coverage.

Invisibility: Not true invisibility, but with training he could use the energy to redirect light around him self. When standing still it would render him nearly invisible. Though as soon as he moves there is a shimmering of where he is making him easier to spot if you were looking at his direction. The downside is it requires almost all of his concentration to maintain.

Independent barriers: Projecting his energy out he can create walls and domes for others to hid behind, or be trapped with in. They are however easier to maintain since he doesn't have to adjust them for his own movement.

Object creations: Simply a more advanced form of the barriers he can manifest simple object out of the energy.

Limits:
His powers require him to concentrate, though once created maintaining is easy, it's the constant shifting and repair if damaged that takes it's toll. Being psychic in nature his powers are all so fueled by his emotion, even the color changing based upon his emotions. Powerful emotions can make it more powerful, though at the cost of stability as it's harder for him to keep concentration. It also makes it easier for his "other half" to try and claw it's way out and take control.

Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
He remains in constant check of his emotional state, not fully aware of what might happen if he ever lost control. This puts limits on both him as well as his powers as his own insecurities flesh out into his abilities. His powers can also only take so much before anything he makes disperses and shatters away

Bio:
Alex was born in Los Alimitos California, to Jayson and Mira Rhodes. He grew up on what is known as 32nd ST, a prominently Mexican neighborhood. For the most part he was untouched by the whole "meta-human" thing, both his parents were normal humans His father an Ex-marine, his mother a simple school teacher at the high school. Military was a family thing, his grand-father used to work on B-52s during WW2. Though his father was discharged due to a medical condition Alex himself had all intent on joining as soon as he turned 18, his mother wanting him to at least finish school fist. His father used his Military benefits to open up a Garage, and was also a well respected member of the community. Because they lived in a rougher neighborhood it was pretty cheap, and for the most part they were able to live off his fathers disability. This allowed him to do some favors for people, who couldn't really afford to get there vehicles fixed. This is one of the reasons Alex has the morals he does. His father teaching him to help people out if he could.
Because of the area though it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. The neighborhood was overrun with gangs so his father taught him how to defend himself, and that he should only fight in defense of himself or others. Alex spent most of his days with his father, training, hanging around the garage, even helping fix the cars. School was a different story for him though, people started calling him "The Ghost" because of how silent he was. Though he didn't really care, most his friends did it just to jab at him playfully, bit it was something that stuck. He wasn't the best student, but he did well enough. He was also mostly left alone by some of the more criminal elements seeing as most of there families owed his father in some way or another. Though he did get into the occasional fight, some one being harassed or others picked on by others and he would step in. Even that was cut down once California started putting guards and metal detectors in schools.

All that changed one night however. It was just a normal day and he was out late with some friends, mostly riding motorcycles around the city living up there youth. On his way home he stopped at a convenient store. Taking a quick brake from a long ride he was just going to grab some snacks. When he got home though he found the door un-locked. He walked in as the place was trashed, looking down he saw his father on the ground. It was a robbery gone wrong, his parents were going to be out of town for a few days. He rushed to his father and saw his mother not to far away. It was then he heard something behind him, he turned seeing another person as he was filled with anger. The man pulled out a gun and fired. Though nothing happened, the bullet fell to the ground as a blue plate covered his chest. Only soon it turned red and Alex blacked out.

He woke up beating the mans face in, he didn't recognize him as there was another person slumped against the wall. He stood up looking around at the scene not knowing what to do. He ran out side and hopped on his bike riding off. He didn't know how he did that, what had happened or why he got shot and nothing happened. After a few months he learned about the orphanage in his travels, not know where to go he figured that would be his best bet.

Bio: Samantha is one of the younger siblings in her family, the ones younger than her being Sarah and a 10 year old brother. Their family is quite large, about nine children in size. Sam's physical changes happened when she was 14, and gained her powers when she was 13. And received many forms of abuse form her family because of it. Eventually she fled with her sister Sarah when both couldn't take the abuse from their family anymore. They have been at the orphanage for a few months now.

Bio : Fled to the orphanage with her older sister Sam. Sarah's changes and power gain happened at the same time when she was 13. She didn't experience the same amount of abuse that her sister did, but believes what she has been told because of what she did experience before running away.

@KatherinWinter also, her personality isn't violent. She wouldn't just start fights. She just did what she was good at to get money.

I think it should be good, violent past doesn't really make some one violent. I mean Alex may or may not of killed two people but he isn't really a violent person.

Least you mentioned violence of your characters past. I'm keeping one of Sarah's violent actions hidden until she decides to confess to someone.
