Trunks
Name: Trunks Briefs
Age: 20
Race: Half-Saiyan
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Race: Half-Saiyan
Gender: Male
Personality: Trunks is usually calm and calculating, a farcry from his hotblooded father. As a fighter, he has reached the level of skill his father possessed, in fact some would argue he has surpassed him. However, he has one defining trait, inherited from his mother: Intelligence. Every bit as intelligent as Bulma, Trunks' intellect has allowed him to gain a tactical edge over his enemies that few of the past Z-Fighters ever boasted, except for maybe Piccolo and Gohan. Don't let his intellect fool you though, Trunks is still a passionate young man, every bit as capable of exploding with rage like his mentor used to do.
Background Information: He was born to Bulma and Vegeta, something Bulma later described as a "moment of passion" between the two. Trunks spent practically his whole life either training with Gohan, or trying in vain to fight the Androids. When Gohan had been trying to help Trunks transform into a Super Saiyan, the Androids attacked and finally succeeded in killing Gohan. The loss of his friend and mentor was enough to finally push Trunks over edge, and he transformed into a Super Saiyan. Some time later, he tried again to fight the Androids, but to no avail. Finally, with no other options, Bulma invented a Time Capsule with Trunks traveled back in time to warn Goku of the Androids, as well as give him the medicine that would cure his fatal heart virus. Trunks arrived in the past to defeat a vengeful Frieza and his father, gave the ominous warning to Goku and then returned to the future. When he got back, he realized that nothing had changed. Thinking that perhaps he had not done enough, Trunks returned to the past once more, this time to the day of the Androids' attack in order to aid the others in fighting them. He found that his meddling with the past caused two different Androids to appear instead of 17 and 18. These Androids, one of them revealed to be Dr. Gero himself, managed to awaken the actual 17 and 18 as well as a new Android numbered as 16. On top of that, a genetically engineered Android called Cell visited the past from even further in the future. He absorbed 17 and 18 in order to achieve his Perfect form, then challenged Earth's fighters to an impromptu tournament called the Cell Games. Trunks was present at the Cell Games, but it was the younger incarnation of his mentor Gohan that ultimately defeated Cell. His mission over, Trunks returned to his own time, where still nothing changed. Even so, the training he had done while in the past made him more than a match for 17 and 18, and so he defeated them, then hunted the Cell of his timeline and killed him as well. The Earth was now safe, but Trunks still felt uneasy. He quickly realized that no matter how strong he was, time would eventually catch up to him and he would die, leaving the Earth with no defenders. Unwilling to accept this, Trunks began searching the world for anyone he could find with fighting potential, hoping to train them as he was and start a new legacy of Z-Warriors to defend the Earth.

Buster Cannon: Trunks' signature move by default. A golden-yellow energy blast fired from both hands.
Double Buster: Two Buster Cannons that are combined into one even more powerful blast.
Burning Attack: A large blast of energy generated by rapid signs made with his arms.
Shining Sword Attack: Slices up enemy with his sword, then destroys the remains with a Buster Cannon.
