"A long, long time ago, gods came down to this world. The world of us, their children seeking excitement. And they decided that they would live here with us, forever in the lower world. They decided to seal away their divine power, and enjoy life with all the hardship and inconvenience that it entails. They can offer only one thing: the power to fight monsters, what they call their blessing. The children given this power become their servants, their familia." (modified quote from the beginning of the show)
The above quote more or less explains how the world generally works. Now... An explanation for how some of this works.
If there are any questions, please refer to me, or a co-GM.

These beings are gods or goddesses of any religion/pantheon save the monotheistic kind. Meaning, they have to be from a religion in which there's more than just them ruling everything, they have to have a specific area in which they rule. Also, them living amongst us means they do not have any additional powers, save their blessing, which I'll get to shortly, and the ability to live for an unlimited amount of time. If you have any questions about this, please PM me or a co-GM, we will be sure to respond as soon as possible with more specific information
The gods can give a blessing, with which adventurers may then defeat monsters and grow in strength. This blessing is not so much a blessing, as a status update. In this world, after the first time in which you are blessed, every fight with a monster grants experience based on what you do during the battle, such as, if you dodge often, then you're agility EXP would raise. At the end of the day, when an adventurer returns to their god/goddess, they will be granted a blessing once more, and all of this EXP will be converted into bonus stat points, which are applied directly to the stat that the EXP was for. This increase is NOT very big, meaning after a full day of adventuring, you may raise 10 levels in each stat (in the source it's lower than this, but for the sake of RPing, I have raised this, but I'm willing to reduce it if the RPers so choose), and this can go as high as 999 each. With each increase of 100 points, the rank goes up one letter. Until 99, there's no letter, but once you hit 100, it starts with H. The blessing will cause each of your stats to be visible on your back, and each time the god/goddess does it, they will have the option to instantly inscribe those stats on paper for the purposes of showing the adventurer. As with above, feel free to PM me or a co-GM for more information.
The god/goddess must have the adventurer lay down, stomach to the ground. Then, the god/goddess must prick/cut him/herself enough to draw blood, and place it on their finger. After which, they draw a circle in the air just about the adventurer's back, which causes the blessing to begin. During the actual blessing, the stats on the adventurer's back will change from their previous points, to the new ones.
Each god/goddess has the ability to bless more than just one person. Each person they've blessed becomes a member of their familia. By being a part of a familia, often times you'll have more chance to work with allies because of this familia, but other than that, the only real difference between familias is how rich/famous they are, and the leader of the familia him/herself (this would be the god/goddess that blessed each of you). Once more, please feel free to PM me or a co-GM
If you choose to join this RP, you can be a god/goddess, an adventurer, or a random civilian (not suggested, but allowed). We will only be allowing a few gods/goddesses compared to adventurers until we've at least gotten each person a few members to their familias. Also, a quick rule for multiple characters, so long as there's another familia, if you choose to make a second character, then the second character MUST NOT be in the same familia as the first. Third or higher do not need to follow this rule, but for the second character, you are NOT to have them in the same familia as the first character.
There will be stats, but they're more or less just to show how your character is intended to play as well as their progression. There won't be any dice-rolling or anything of the sort. The stats are as follows.
Strength (STR): Fairly obvious, increases ability to carry heavy objects and the such.
Defense (DEF): Generally how hard to cut your body is, wounds are less severe the higher this is.
Weapon (WPN): How strong each attack is. The offensive stat.
Agility (AGI): How quickly you move. The higher this is, the higher chance of avoiding an attack you'd have.
Magic (MAG): How well magic works for you. (Currently not useful in this RP)
The reason for magic's uselessness in this RP is because the source has yet to reveal any of the magics in the series.
Also, these stats will be visible on each adventurer's back, but it's not suggested at all to show anyone this other than your god/goddess, seeing as others may use that as an advantage in combat against you.

1. What I say goes. If I say something differently than a co-GM, I'm the host, so my rules apply, not theirs.
2. If I don't say anything and a co-GM does, or if I agree with a co-GM, then their word goes in my stead. This is inherently how the GM/co-GM system works.
3. Respect each other... Think how they feel about the situation and try to act like you're on both ends of the situation... If your character somehow instantly grabs another RPer's character without their clear and concise permission, you're doing it wrong. No one likes to be told they can't, so be nice and don't tell people they can't, or I'll start dictating everything that you can or can't do pertaining to this RP.
4. If you have a problem with someone... Then I'm saying to direct the attention of me or a co-GM to the matter, explain what happened WITHOUT BIAS (if we can't see exactly what happened, then you need to tell us what happened without skipping anything, or the other person will inform us, and we'll have a conflict of stories... In the case of which, both are at fault.), and let US handle it. I don't want to have people fighting in the OOC over something as stupid as whether or not someone's character seems like they might do something.
5. Stats are for me and any co-GMs to determine. I would highly prefer if you were not to go around stating your own stat increases because you think you deserve something that others don't.
6. Have fun, and let others have fun, if you do that, there shouldn't be any problems.
