I'm so sorry. I was in a ditzy mood when I posted my CS the other day and I didn't realize you wanted them posted in the OOC first :/. Anyhow, sorry again and here's my CS.

John Lockhart

Appearance:

Name: John Lockhart

Age: 15

Year: Fifth Year

House: Gryffindor

Personality: John is a Gryffindor through and through. He's loyal to his friends, and believes very strongly in standing up for what he believes in. He's also a fierce fighter, and often thinks that most conflicts can be resolved with a wand or a fist. He's a social being but he's also incredibly smart, and if he isn't studying, it's probable that he is hanging out with friends.

History: John Beckett is what less cultured folk would call, a mudblood. He was born to two muggles, Olivia and Martin Beckett. His parents owned a very successful bakery and so the Becketts would often provide their son with every luxury. They did however make sure to keep him grounded, and as such made him work in the bakery at a young age. John began showing signs of magic at around five, when he turned a very rude customer's hair a bright, vibrant shade of green.

Once his Hogwarts letter came, his parents were thrilled. Every parent wants their child to be special and now their's was. John was sent to Hogwarts, wide eyed and curious. There he was sorted into Gryffindor where he became fast friends with most of the kids in his year. He quickly discovered his aptitude for Defence Against the Dark Arts, and it became his favorite subject. He excelled in most of his classes, however Herbology bored him. In his third year he began taking Ancient Runes, and Care of Magical Creatures, the former being his preferred class.

This year he decided he'd sign up for the mysterious Ghoul Studies, mostly just to prove to one of his friends that he wasn't to much of a pansy to face a bunch of ghosts. He figures it will look good on his auror application as well, seeing as how the class deals with all sorts of dark creatures.

It's so ironic as well because Hufflepuff is normally looked over in the books. The only time it focused on Hufflepuff was because of Cedric Diggory.

@XxLyraxX Yeah that kind of irked me slightly because I always liked Hufflepuff house. Mainly because when it comes to house founders Helga Hufflepuff was always my favorite. Where the other founders said "you have to be the bravest, the smartest, or the cleverest to be in my house" Helga said "All you have to do is want to learn and improve yourself and I will accept you."

Yeah. It just sucked that the books hardly ever focused on Hufflepuff. I had to look up where the common room was and how to get to it because it was never mentioned in the books.

@XxLyraxX Yeah which is a shame because the Hufflepuff commons is pretty mind blowing, I mean it is basically a giant burrow! Not to mention if you get the password wrong to the commons you get sprayed in vinegar XD

I've been meaning to ask: how long has it been since the books/movies? Would Harry's children still be going there? Also, could you maybe provide a list of the professors that you are using?

Well it's 2015 and yes the children of the three are attending but I wasn't planing on doing anything with them because there'd be a run on choosing them as characters so they Remain NPCs

Neville Longbottom is Herbology professor and also the Advisor for the Hufflepuffs

Beyond that I'll need a bit because I was focusing on one class and one teacher (Acantha)

Oh and to answer another question: There are all sorts of rumors concerning the teacher of Ghoul Studies. Some say she's a Vampire, others a Succubus and one claims she herself is a powerful Spirit of some unknown type. The answer to that question will be revealed later

Oh and you do know Hammy has a dragon for his patronus right? I bring this up because of what you put in the Hadrian Longinus Blevins CS

First question first: Mediums of sufficient training can sense those around themselves who have been touched by the gift, the untrained can only sense those who have been touched by the most powerful spirits. In other words "Miss Night" radiates a power that is more like a ghost than a living person and near her almost always is a powerful Ghost (Her Dead Mother)

Those not Mediums can sense either an unnatural chill or heat emanating from her presence that's unsettling@XxLyraxX

Yes I saw Hammy's Patronous, the Headmaster's CS is an old Teacher CS I wrote up for a different RP
I'm using him here because I like him and I'm lazy@Saarebas
