XAR
Xar remembered landing on planet Keet-o in the Terran cluster of the Lobos Quadrant. Not long after Shaer had reported a group of planets ripe for feeding. He remembered dealing with the native species, most had been rather weak and wiped out easily. He had formed the conduit and started feeding when suddenly the sky went dark.
Thousands if not millions, tiny and medium aircrafts covered the sky and countless of them ejected what seem like soldiers. Was this a take-over or an intergalactic war he didn't know. Not that it mattered, he would be done with this planet before the fight gave result. But what he didn't expect was a hunting party.
They were the so-called Liberation Force, formed to rid the universe of his kind as told in his trial. Presided over by every major racial power of the galaxy. Pitiable fools, deluding themselves that they can rid themselves so easy of his kind. His family was still out there, he knew his sister was far more shrewd than him. She also knew to control his hunger, a trait that he never cared to learn. His ambition had always been different. He wanted to be the strongest of his kind. Something that would not be achievable, now that he would be relieved of his mortal coil.
But his subduers had another gift, they wanted to make him weak like them. To show him mercy, even if he didn't need it. The claimed an obscure convention and decided to put him in deep freeze. Somewhere so remote that even the light won't reach him.

As Anastasia punched in the release switch, the liquid drained from the tall chamber. This one was up to the ceiling, the inside invisible due to all the frost on the glass. Wisp of gas flowed into the room as she recovered from her vomit. Suddenly, a being emerged from the smoke and held her against the ceiling. Its huge hand clasped around her neck, a slow clench and her throat would cave in.
The lights then started to flicker as the sound system of the room came alive. The suit of armor only emanated a heavy breathing sound but the speakers told that the being could communicate.
"Am I the last one, human?" the speakers relayed the message of the being. By the fact that only male voices were chosen, she could faintly estimate that the one before her was a male.
"Answer carefully, they may be your last words."
