But generally, it seems weapons cannot wield another weapon, unless they are tied by familial bonds (blood related) is what has been said in Soul Eater

An Odachi is basically Japan's version of a two handed greatsword. Also it doesn't particularly matter what you care for as canon, because I'm GM here, and while I take your comments into consideration, I'm basing it off of what I understand.

well i thought about it and both of the other ones i really liked arent that great when you think about it since it pretty unpractical to only be able to throw a chakram

Well the issue with the chakram is that it may possibly need some sort of limitations to be placed on it if it's capable of moving on its own accord once thrown. It's very likely that those limitations would have to focus on the weapon's range to keep it from just being able to move infinitely once being thrown, otherwise any risk to a meister is now eliminated because they can just make their weapon hover around them once thrown.

The Meister is what gives her the power she needs to continue indefinitely. Without a Meister, she would only have so long to fly before she fell to the ground.

Having your weapon float around you does not eliminate risk. It would still have weight and force limitations.

I was thinking with Charkram, it could be possible that it was resizable, so you'd have the smaller one and use it like a bladed knuckle buster, while when it was larger you would throw it

(When thrown, it would be able to return at any distance, otherwise difficult for reuse)

The circular bands on this are Chakrams
They are circular blades mostly used for throwing, however, multiple chakrams would sometimes be placed over the body to also act as an armor and protect against attacks
Alternatively, they could hold it, from the inside, and use it to cut at enemies up close
