Since the beginning of sailing the world humans have made stories of fish-like people following their ships and leading them to safety. While others told of these "Mermaids" as evil creatures that would sing songs to lure unexpected sailors to their demise. These tales were all dismissed as fairy tales and make believe...How wrong they were.
The year was 2025 and pollution in the seas were at an all time high due to no country making a giant stand against it. Beaches would be filled with the dead of fish and as researchers tried to tell countries about the problem it was already to late. In the Bermuda Triangle a place where mysterious disappearance's happen almost monthly it seemed a presence made themselves know to the world that was responsible for the Bermuda's mysteries. The "Tritons" as they called themselves, a race of fish like human species that had been in hiding for centuries and killing anything that saw their presence. However with the pollution and the constant ships on their land they have grown tired of the humans and declared war on the Human race. Their goal was to push the humans deep inland and sink coastal areas to add new land to their territory. The Tritons first target;Bermuda where they easily won but lost Triton warriors which were very valuable to this race since they were extremely outnumbered.
So the Tritons with their advanced technology created monsters to do their dirty work. The first one attacked Miami called Over-ton where it destroyed 85% of the the city before finally being killed by multiple air strikes against it and this was just the beginning. Throughout the months more and more attacks on major coastal cities began. All of which ended with at least 50% of the city destroyed and so the UN meet to find a way to deal with this threat after two weeks of arguing back and forth a plan was finally agreed upon Operation Vanguard. Over the next 9 months scientist all over the world started to build giant robots called Vanguards to deal with the monster threat and on May 5,2026 the first one was launched called Victory Tango to protect New York City from the detected Kaiju heading to it. The fight lasted around one hour and the Kaiju called Deathknell was slain with only around 2% of the city affected it. After this astounding victory over 80 more were ordered to be made around the world.
The date is June 1st,2027 and the war has been raging for over a year but something is changing in the wind for the best or the worst.
Now that we have that long intro done lets kill some Kaiju!
