Name: Jason "Jay" Garrick // Alias: The Flash
Race: Caucasian // Gender: Male
Height: 6' 0" // Weight: 179 pounds
Age: 21 // Hair: Brown // Eyes: Blue
Affiliations: None // Occupation: Unemployed

Appearance:

Abilities/Skills:
After discovering the dying god Mercury, Jay Garrick was granted the ability to move and think at superhuman speeds. Due to the lack of enhanced strength, Jay uses quick jabs and his speed to frustrate and tire out his opponents instead of just mindlessly pounding away at them.

Backstory:
Jay began as a troubled college graduate whose life seemed to be going nowhere. He had been dating a young woman named Joan until she decided that they were spinning their wheels. She left him and he decided to contemplate his future on a small hill on the outskirts of town. It was there that what he thought was a meteor crashed nearby, and he chose to investigate. He discovered the dying god Mercury, who had just escaped from his captors who had held him since the invasion from Apokolips was defeated. When Jay asked if it was the forces of Apokolips that imprisoned him he said that it was a force much darker. Mercury warned that there needed to be a new age of heroes to fight this force and that he saw greatness in Jay that perhaps Jay couldn't see in himself. Before dying he imbued Jay with his power and told him, "Trust no one." Soon after, the police arrived, and Jay ran at superhuman speeds he wasn't expecting. Overtime, Jay learned to control this power and began to use it to save lives and change the world's view on Wonders. Soon, he plans to leave his hometown of Keystone City City and move on to another city for better opportunities for both Jay and "The Flash".

Sample Post:
"Okay how about this... I'll take a spicy McChicken sandwich and that'll do it- wait, no, add another sandwich and a large fry. No, make it three large fries. And tha- Wait, y'know what? Give me three of each and I'll take a cola as well. Okay, now I'm sure that'll do it." Jay had decided to stop by McDonald's for some lunch, usually he'd just get the sandwich; but ever since Mercury blessed him with the power of superhuman speed, he had become increasingly more hungry and required more calories to get him through the day. He figured his superspeed had also sped up his metabolism, and that was the cause of why he needed more food to keep him on his feet.

"Are you sure that's what you'd like, sir?" The woman behind the counter asked in an agitated tone, clearly not amused at the fact the man hadn't been able to really make up his mind for the past two minutes. "Yes, I'm sure... sorry for taking so long, I've just been- well..." Jay attempted to explain before forcing his voice to fade out, knowing there's no point even trying to explain. The woman simply dismissed this and began to continue the food ordering process, she spoke in a non-caring voice as if she were reading from a poorly written script: "Okay sir, your total comes to-" Jay, using his enhanced speed, had already slid a ten dollar bill on the counter. Before the woman finished reading his total, her eyes met the faded green paper placed on the counter. "Oh? I didn't notice you put that there. Sorry, it's been a bit of a sluggish day for us." Jay responded with a smile, "A sluggish day is much better than one of those days that fly by, trust me buddy."

Jay sat patiently in one of the severely uncomfortable chairs in McDonald's "Dining Room", waiting for an employee to place two greasy paper bags on the counter. When suddenly, the fast food restaurant's front door is kicked open with such a force it causes the glass to shatter; Jay and many others turned towards the uncalled for entrance, only to see two masked men both carrying 9mm pistols in their hands. Silence fell over the entire building as the men proceeded towards the counter, they walked with pride... almost like they were proud of what they were doing. It had gotten to the point where it was so quiet, Jay swore he could hear the individual heartbeats of the people. If fear had a smell, the building would wreak horribly of it.

One of the men stopped and instead of going to the counter, decided to go back to the door to be a lookout; while the other one had finally gotten to the counter and was now pointing the 9mm pistol at the employee who had just taken Jay's order. "What do you think this is? A game?! Put the money in the fucking bag!" The man shouted, waving his pistol around at the employees behind the counter. None of them moved, they were all in shock, and Jay couldn't blame them. He was in shock himself... but then he realized... he can stop this. He has the power to stop this! Jay quickly shook his head and began to assess the situation: one armed man at the door, another at the counter, and about a dozen civilians in the way. Within a few moments, he had thought of a plan. Now it came to the hard part, it's actual execution...

This would be difficult due to the fact he wouldn't be able to conjure up his costume without exposing his identity. This meant he wouldn't be able to use his costume, which means he had to move extremely fast. Jay slowly stood up, not trying to attract any unnecessary attention towards himself, and looked at the man looking outside the mostly broken glass door. Using his gifted ability, the Wonder rushed towards the man at full speed and delivered a nearly jaw-breaking uppercut. Kraaaaaaaaaaaak! The noise of the brutal uppercut, caused his "friend" to begin to turn around; luckily, thanks to Jay's superspeed, by the time the other man had completely turned around he was already tied up against the flagpole outside of the establishment. "What- WHAT THE FUCK?! HOW DID I GET OUT HERE?!"

The employees slowly peeked from behind the counter and felt relief wash over them as they saw the two criminals were gone, another employee also noticed the two bags of food they had just finished preparing was missing. "I don't understand... it was like, just here... like it was literally just there thirty seconds ago!" The female employee said, slightly confused. It was then the employee's eyes widened as she saw a note had been left behind:

Hope this makes us even! :)

Back Story:

Uncle Sam is unsure of when he came into existence or his true name, but what he does know is that he was a spirit who roamed the lands that would become America. He mainly kept to himself but would occasionally help out the Aboriginal Tribes with matters of guidance or fortune. He grew to like the humans, even the white man when they came to his land. He helped out the early European settlers. His trust was broken when a British occultist captured him with a ritual and sealed him in an arcane tome. He remained there until the book was recovered by American Revolutionary forces. They brought the book to the men who would become the Founding Fathers. A more mystically inclined one discovered the spirit and offered him a deal. They would release him from the tome, but he would be bonded to their idea of America, as America grew in power so would he. The spirit agreed and was reborn as the Minute-Man, hero of the revolution.

Needless to say the revolutionaries won and the nation of America was founded. The Minute-Man remained in the shadows, defending America from all threats. Eventually he learnt the spell of rebirth and used it to become Brother Jonathon. He continued his defence of America becoming fully enraptured in America’s ideals, ideals that were put to the test when America split in two. When the Civil War broke out the spirit literally broke in two. He became Billy Yank and Johnny Reb. They both became super weapons for their respective armies. Their epic battles rekindled the legend of the spirit of America. Eventually the war ended and the spirit became whole again. He hid from the world while contemplating the nature of America. But he reemerged in 1870 where he took up the identity of Uncle Sam.

He tried to stay out of the spotlight, secretly helping the US in conflicts such as the first World War. But after the attack on Pearl Harbour, President Roosevelt asked Uncle Sam to personally lead a team of wonders called the Freedom Fighters, which he agreed to. After that all the news reels were full of this team of American heroes and their leader Uncle Sam, literally the embodiment of America. The Freedom Fighters stayed together until the nuking of Japan, ending the war. Many members of the team became disillusioned and left leading to President Truman disbanding the team. Uncle Sam continued to work for the US government, participating in future conflicts such as the Korean, Vietnam, and Gulf Wars.

That all changed with the 9/11 attacks. Uncle Sam was down south when it happened, fighting drug cartels. Immediately America changed, people began to lose their liberties. Still Uncle Sam believed in America and continued to support it. So it came as a shock when the UN dissolved America. Uncle Sam found himself now without a purpose and losing power the longer the US didn’t exist. But he wasn’t ready to give up on America. He started a blog under the name Samuel Wilson, which became popular among those anti-World Government. Eventually he joined the group Civilians for the Reestablishment of America, or C.R.A. They were making ground when the Apokoliptan invasion happened. This time Uncle Sam was actually in the right place for this crisis. He was protesting in New York when the city was attacked. Uncle Sam rose to the occasion and was able to take out several assault ships. He was caught on film and became viral very fast, most notable a video of him crashing a ship into Time’s Square. After the invasion support for the World Government rose drastically. In response Uncle Sam has used his newfound celebrity to get his views heard.

“I still believe in America.”

Sample Post:

Uncle Sam jumped out of the bush and into the Japanese dugout. They immediately noticed him and began to fire on him. Sam just grimaced as the bullets ricocheted off him. He grabbed the nearest soldier and tossed him at his nearest companion, knocking them both to the ground with the noise of breaking bones. Sam then turned to two others, jabbing them both in the face with a fist each. The two were knocked back a meter with blood exploding out of their noses. Sam then turned to the last soldier only for him to drop his gun and flee. Sam smiled, he had put the fear of God into these darn Japs. They realized that there was nothing they could do to hurt the spirit.

Or maybe they could, as was evident when a bazooka whizzed across the clearing and into Uncle Sam’s chest, exploding and send him back into the tree line. Sam cursed as he slowly got up, but then berated himself for using foul language. Another round was fired but this time Sam was ready for it. He leaped out of the way, before darting for the brush where the round came from. As he neared the enemy soldier another round was fired, dead on at Sam. But the shot just whizzed over his head as Uncle Sam had shrunk himself to half a foot tall. In doing so he had caused the shooter to lose track of Sam. He whipped around trying to find him only to get an uppercut to the face from a rapidly growing Sam. The soldier was launched several feet into the air before landing on the ground unconscious.

Uncle Sam returned to his regular height only to notice he had lost his hat at some point. Retracing his steps, Sam found it nestled under a tree. As he was about to pick it up someone beat him to it. A blue and white blur sped by and snatched the hat before encircling Sam, who got a stern look on his face.

“By the Stars and Stripes Quicksilver, give me back my hat before I take it back,” stated Uncle Sam.

“You didn’t say please, Old Man,” replied the speedster as he stopped moving.

“Please Max, you are trying my patience.”

Quicksilver just laughed as he tossed the hat back to Sam. He turned to leave only for the ground in front of him to explode in a hail of gunfire. Max made to flee, only to take two rounds in the leg. He immediately began to collapse to the ground in pain. But before he hit the ground he was grabbed by Uncle Sam who moved the two of them into the tree line. Now with a little more cover Sam looked upward and saw what was firing on them. A pair of Japanese fighter planes, a new model it looked like.

Uncle Sam turned to Quicksilver and said, “Stay put Max, I’ve got to clip some birds’ wings.”

Once again Sam leaped into the clearing, attracting the attention of the fighters. But before they could get into firing range one of them was crumpled into a ball in the hands of a rapidly growing Uncle Sam. The remaining plane immediately veered away. Sam stalked after it, smashing trees as he moved. He followed the plane to a rocky outcropping. Beyond that was the ocean where Sam would not be able to follow. It looked like the fighter was going to get away until Uncle Sam picked up a boulder and chucked it. The rock soared through the air and met its target, totally destroying the fighter’s left wing. From there the plane spun out of control before going nose first into the water. After confirming that the threat was eliminated Uncle Sam made his way back to his injured comrade. Sam changed to a size just big enough to carry Quicksilver with his hand before scooping him up.

“You’ve got to take this more seriously Max, this is war after all,” said Uncle Sam softly.

Max smiled, groaned, then replied, “Well I can always count on you, Old Man.”

Name: Alan Scott // Alias: Green Lantern or Agent Green
Race: Human // Gender: Male
Height: 6'2 // Weight: 200 lbs. (Preferably Standard)
Age: 27 // Hair: Blond // Eyes: Green
Affiliations: The Green Occupation: Media Mogul; Adventurer; Agent of the Green

Appearance:

Abilities/Skills:

Powers:

Avatar of the Earth: As the Green Lantern, Alan Scott is intrinsically connected to The Green, an elemental force that connects all plant life on earth. This makes Alan a living conduit of nature and he's bound to the earth on a fundamental level. By drawing upon the forces of the Green, Alan has demonstrated the abilities to heal injuries and cause rapid regrowth among plants and flora.

Chlorokinesis: As stated above he's able to cause rapid regrowth among plants and flora.

Green-Powered Flight: By drawing upon the Green, Alan Scott is capable of flight. However, due to his dependency on the earth he appears to rapidly exhaust his reserves if he ascends too far up into the earth's atmosphere. His speed while flying has been shown sufficient to travel from Washington to the stratosphere in a single surge.

Astral Projection: Scott has demonstrated the ability to leave behind his physical body to bond with the "internal matrix within the world".

Superhuman Strength: As the Green's agent he draws on the power of the Earth itself to give him strength. His feats of strength are currently unmeasured, but it's believed that his powers are close to that of Superman and Wonder Woman.

Superhuman Durability: Scott possesses remarkable resistance towards physical attacks and blunt trauma. He's far from invulnerable, but he's able to take a severe beating.

Energy Construct Creation: Scott has the ability, through his ring and connection to the Green, to create and manipulate energy in a manner that creates matter from his own willpower.

Concussive Blasts: Other than creating energy constructs, Scott is also capable of focusing the green energy into concussive beams of projected energy. These beams of energy, released either through his engagement ring or from his entire body have a remarkable potency.

Skills:

Business Management: Alan is the owner and CEO of the media company G.B.C (Global Broadcasting Corporation), which is the largest and most influential media outlet in the world. Alan has also become a billionaire at an early age thanks to his skills as a businessman.

Leadership: Alan is a very capable leader shown in how he was able to lead his company to become what it is at such a young age.

Investigation: Alan has very keen investigative skills and has stated a few times that as a child he always thought he'd end up as a detective, but life took him in different directions.

Indomitable Will: Alan is able to control his emotions and impulses and even uses his will to overcome fear and resist mind control. He uses his willpower to strengthen his own energy constructs.

Basic Hand-to-Hand Combat: Alan took self-defense classes growing up. He's not an expert at fighting, but capable of defending himself.

Electrical Engineering: Before becoming involved in the media industry Alan was an Engineer.

Weaknesses:

Power Loss: If Scott is separated from the Green for too long, his power fades.

Power Instability: Scott appears to be bound by his very nature as the Earth's protector. Scott does not retain full freedom and he's forced to follow the whims of the Green above his own desires.

Equipment:

Sam's Engagement Ring: When he received his powers from the Green, the force informed him that he would need something close to his heart through which he could channel his powers. Having intended to put an engagement ring on Sam's finger shortly before the train crashed, Scott chose that very same ring to be his weapon as an act of honoring his dead love.

Notes:

Alan Scott's Speech Color

The Green's Speech Color

Backstory:

Alan Scott was a young, openly bisexual media mogul, who dedicated his work to the heroes fighting against Darkseid and his army. He only wished that he could help and unbeknownst to him one day he would. While the war against Darkseid was going on he was on a train with his boyfriend, Sam Zhao, in China. He had planned to propose to him once they got off of the train. Unfortunately that train would never make it to the station. Before the train could arrive at the station it suddenly crashed and everyone on the train except for Alan died in the crash. While he was holding Sam in his arms a Green Flame appeared before him.

The Green Flame told him that he was chosen as the Protector of Earth. He couldn't believe what he was hearing at first. Him the protector of Earth? What could he do if he couldn't even save the life of the man he loved? He eventually accepted this and used the engagement ring for Sam as his conduit of power. That way he could make sure to always have Sam with him. The power that the Green Flame bestowed upon him allowed him to create a costume seemingly from his own imagination and gave him powers that he could only dream of. It was his time to help save the planet from these invading forces.

Alan soon became the hero known as Green Lantern and fought against Darkseid's invasion force, but never actually interacted with the three main Wonders that helped out the army. He promised himself as he made this fight that he would never let someone get as close to him as Sam did. He couldn't live with the loss of someone else that close to him. After the war ended he remained a hero and currently splits his time between doing so and running his business.

Sample Post:

Sam looked over at Alan and took notice of the nervous look on his face. He had never actually seen him appear nervous before and especially not for a business meeting. He usually knocked those out of the park. Something else had to be the matter here. Could it have been the war going on? He admittedly was concerned as well. He placed his hand on Alan's knee and looked at him with concern. "Are you okay? It's about the war, isn't it?"

Alan tensed up when Sam touched his knee. He was too deep in thought about his engagement that he didn't even realize how nervous or concerned he looked to Sam. He couldn't tell him that he was thinking about the proposal yet and fortunately he didn't have to. Sam had given him something to use as an excuse. It wasn't really an excuse though. He was thinking about the war as well. "Yeah... I look at all of these heroes and Wonders that we have working so hard to save our planet and all I'm doing is making them look good in the media. I wish I could do more. Be a hero."

Sam was slightly taken aback. He didn't expect it to be bothering Alan this much, but he knew that's why he loved him. He wanted so much to help people. He removed his hand from his leg and looked into his eyes. "I want you to remember something Alan. You may not be a hero now, but one day you could be. As William Shakespeare said, 'We know what we are, but know not what we may be.'" He slowly lifted his hand towards Alan's face, but before he could reach it he was stopped by a sudden jerk and then that sudden jerk became much worse. All Sam could see was himself coming closer to his reflection in the window and then it cut black.

Alan woke up to see a living nightmare. The train had crashed horribly and everyone appeared to be dead including the man he loved. He removed Sam from the window and held him in his arms. He couldn't even conjure up words. All that he could conjure were tears. After what seemed like forever a Green Flame appeared in front of him. He wasn't sure what it was or what it wanted, but it certainly had a message.

Name: Bruce Anthony Wayne // Alias: The Bat-Man, The Dark Knight, World's Greatest Detective
Race: Human American // Gender: Male
Height: 6'0" // Weight: 200 lbs
Age: 26 // Hair: Black // Eyes: Brown
Affiliations: Wayne Industries, Camazotz, Robin, Catwoman, The Huntress
Occupation: CEO of Wayne Industries

Appearance:

The Bat-Man is a staple of Gothamite culture. When he first appeared, he'd been in a black and grey suit of thin cloth with a mask covering all but his eyes and mouth, with tall pointed ears erected atop the opposing edges of his skull. When too much gunfire neared his critical areas, he added a target to his chest. Bright yellow, it gave criminals something to aim for--the best protected spot on his body.

Years later, around the time of the Apokiliptan invasion, he'd developed his outfit into a fully blown battle suit with a features catering to the marriage of freedom and security, agility and protection. His target was no longer necessary, therefore it was removed. He'd gotten to the point where enough people knew where to shoot. A shining black bat silhouette rests on his chest now.

His future costume will be fresh, with a brown cloth over his cape and cowl, masking the entirety of his face. A beige tone was selected to coat his torso and appendages, while the previous darker brown matches his boots, gloves, and utility belt. The eyes are more intimidating than before, a selectively glowing red lense covers his pupils. The result is that he truly looks like a giant brown bat. In many ways, it is intended to look like this.

Abilities/Skills:
Power
Avatar: Camazotz, an ancient figure of doom, represented by a bat, has selected Bruce as his champion. When in harmony with the entity's will, he is at his human limits. Faster, stronger, smarter, more observant, and more powerful in general. The limits he reaches are not those he can reach on his own, but the highest his body can achieve without lasting damage.

Skills
Armed Combat: He is trained and has demonstrated expertise with many varieties of blades, particularly swords. In their place, he tends to use batons and escrima sticks. When opportunity presents itself, he can improvise a staff or most other close range utilities.

Engineering: Bruce has years of experience in crafting/customizing his own machines and tools. Given a while, he can find an alternative use for any machinery he has available and likely repurpose it into a more useful state, often upgrading common technology for his personal use.

Hand to Hand: Bruce has a track record for picking up martial arts and fighting styles, particularly when they are used against himself. Though he is versed in countless forms by now, his preference actually leans towards the mixed martial arts of Russian combatants, catching many off guard with the style, though he is always able to fine-tune his movements to any opponents he faces.

Physical Conditioning: The term peak human physical condition is often used, but it's rather vague as it implies you do everything with superiority, which is not possible. But the Bat-Man of Earth-2 is fast, agile, and as strong as someone with a lean, acrobatic build can get.

Projectiles: He can throw shurikens, darts, and even use bows, but he prefers a mixture of sharp-edged bat-shaped boomerangs and bat-shaped shurikens, both of which are called Batarangs. He has many varieties of these, some include microphones, explosives, speakers, lights, cameras, or sedatives.

Sciences: He is diligent in his research with knowledge in advanced physics, chemistry, biology, geology, robotics, mathematics, and forensics.

Stealth: He has learned over time to use the element of surprise to great effect, or to go completely undetected for greater effect.

Theatrics: Masquerading as a monstrous Bat-Man, he's put on a show for years, both in his vigilante activities and an exaggerated lifestyle as a playboy billionaire.

Tools
Batsuit: His suits are varied in appearance as well as function. Most have at least some degree of protection and his signature silhouette. A majority have the ability to glide, while some are designed for volcanic activity, underground exploration, arctic ventures, or other niches.

Vehicles: Foremost is the Batmobile, several variations and models have seen use, the present is a high-speed short sports car somewhat resembling KITT from Knight Rider. Following suit are his airplane, The Batwing, The Batsub, and The Batcycle.

Weaponry: He carries Batarangs, both the boomerang and shuriken varieties, dart guns, Batons, and a Batclaw useful in combat as well as maneuverability.

Richard Grayson - Crimson
The Riddler - Green

Villains Overhauled
The Joker: Alfred Stryker was the first mastermind that The Batman had ever faced. By hiring assassins for the heads of a chemical syndicate he created, he set himself in the sights of a fake assassination to clear himself of any suspicion. Capitalizing on the opportunity, he stole the company's flagship product, a steroid that had never been tested on humans. Results had been immediate and impressive on lab rats, making them stronger, faster, smarter, and more intelligent. When cornered by The Batman, he used it on himself to give himself a fighting chance. The experience was traumatic, worsened by the outcome. In an attempt to escape, he'd sloppily fallen into a vat of chemicals believed to cause fatal neurological damage. Since, he's emerged as a cunning, vicious, treacherous serial-killer who's guised himself as a clown, or as he puts it--The Joker!

Two-Face: Harvey Kent was a district attorney who fought in the courtrooms of Gotham against insurmountable odds. Despite their opposing modes of operation, Harvey admired the Bat-Man, and Bruce returned the sentiment. But a chemical accident forever scarred half of Harvey's face, leaving him disfigured and causing a mental break. The trauma was reconciled by the fact that facets of the original personality remained, a testament to his strength of character, buy something else was born too. Two-Face, a coin-flipping criminal obsessed with equality began to commit crimes believing that chance and luck was the only true justice.

Golden Age villains for later use

Mission Statement:
The concept I'm using is tricky. While I'm not elevating Batman to the status of a demigod, I am acknowledging that the Bat's spectacular feats cannot be pulled off by a mere man. I intend to develop a new kind of Batman, based on a course I believe his original could've taken. This isn't your daddy's Batman, but it's closer to your grandpappy's. Of course I've used a few of my own ideas, but I feel I'm really adding something. You'll see it's still the Batman, it's just that he's the Bat-Man.

Backstory:
Bruce Anthony Wayne was the son of the already wealthy Thomas Wayne and his wife Martha. Thomas had actually begun a project that would give the everyman the ability to protect himself, physically and legally. The project was despised by countless wealthier men, so Wayne became a target. Seeing it as a possibility for a better future, he was protected by clandestine agent Alfred Jarvis.

After a few too many attempts on Thomas' life had been made, Wayne decided that it was necessary to disappear. He took his son to see a screenplay one night before his and his wife's 'murder' was staged. Bruce was left in the care of Alfred Jarvis. Bruce was put through a carefully selected series of educational classes that equipped him to become one of the most competent men in the world.

During his early childhood, he began exercising in the yard in a private gymnastics course. But he fell down into a bat's cave on accident. He was quickly rescued by Alfred, but not before being traumatized by the horde that gave a squealing roar. From then on, he was afraid of bats. He had outlandish nightmares about them. He was so scared that he was often accompanied in his dreams by a talking bat calling himself Camazotz, a Mayan symbol of death and destruction. The nightmares only worsened until he made a decision that would change his life forever. He embraced the inner bat.

Dressing up as a bat, he put years of training and academic study to use, building a personal arsenal of crimefighting weapons, tools, and vehicles. In his early days, he shot several armed criminals before he began to explore other, dependably nonlethal methods of incapacitation. Taking courses such as fencing and hand to hand combat gave him an intimidating array of options. On his eighteenth birthday, he inherited Wayne Enterprises with majority ownership, but mostly chose to elect board representatives to maintain his watchful regiment.

He was free to completely let loose with his training on a visit to Transylvania with his then girlfriend Julie Madison, when she was kidnapped by vampires. For the first time, he heard Camazotz when he was awake, loving Bruce's finesse and parallel savagery. Bruce felt motivated and powerful as never before, defeating both vampires The Monk and Dala, who claimed to be champions of Camazotz themselves, before rescuing Julie and returning home. Bruce nearly crossed the line of taking human lives about a dozen times against such threats as The Joker or Two-Face.

But he'd never come as close as he had when he met Tony Zucco, a mobster who orphaned Dick Grayson when he wasn't paid for 'protection'. Grayson was not a public name, he was the son of partial owners. But he, personally, was called Robin by circus goers. He was a performer who daredevilishly acted out adventures as a mysterious teenaged vigilante. Bruce happened to be attending that night, and he watched him gun down the Graysons before nearly killing Zucco. "Don't do it," Grayson cried, and legitimately forced Batman to reconsider by using himself as an obstacle.

Seeing that Robin had kept him from becoming a murderer, Batman took Robin under his wing before he trained him to do real vigilantism as hid partner. Thus, Robin kept him in check and prevented him from crossing a line since the start. Since Grayson was also without a legal guardian, he adopted him as a son. But then the family expanded when Bruce and Selina Kyle, a cat burglar he'd apprehended multiple times before reform, started an official relationship. Selina's teenaged daughter, Helena, had been assisting her for years, even into the reform.

Bruce Wayne married Catwoman, gaining Helena as a Stepdaughter, though he treated her like a princess, more like Xena than Ariel, though. The invasion in 2015 compelled him to band together with Superman and Wonder Woman before sending his adoptive children on their own less dangerous missions. The Apokiliptan ships touched down in every major city in the world, so Bruce went inside one of them alone, analyzed it, fought an army of immortals and self-destructed it, managing to escape before relaying instructions to the World Army. With the help of the others, countless lives were saved. But the forcefulness Bruce had to use to survive reawakened a taste for violence he'd believed he'd gotten past.

Sample Post:
An obvious scumbag was sitting in a desk chair, spinning in a steady rhythm. His feet kicked off the ground twice for every distorted bit of prattling he heard over his cell phone. He impatiently inhaled, like he was trying to swallow everything on the desk beside him. A laptop, map of the Gotham area, cash box, and a warped ski-mask with the eyeholes stretched beyond their limits. Most outstandingly, a monitor with a sixteen year old girl streaming live.

Her black and purple outfit was almost as skin-tight as the ropes binding her to a wooden chair.

"Excuse me, hunter of men," the man in front of the computer boomed over a loud speaker, after ending his private call. "But I have a single question for you. If you answer correctly, it means you go free and I go to someplace you won't here from me. But if you don't.
.."
With a keystroke, he decorated the perimeter of the room around her with blue javelins of untainted power, lightning.

The Huntress said nothing.

"What do you call it when I take your life from the person who appreciates you most?"

Helena was still, at a complete loss for words. But fortunately, as if by magic, the answer echoed behind her.

"Robbin' the Boy Wonder."

"Batman!" The Riddler shrieked!

"Captain Obvious, I presume," the aforementioned companion to the vigilante quipped.

"Grrr! You rhyme with lead but are more like Punk instead! What are you?"

The Batman shrouded himself and his two companions in a scalloped curtain of shadow before lightning struck--not twice--but twelve times all around the cape! When the falsely blue sky faded from around them, he dropped his trailing blanket before crossing his arms into his utility belt and retrieving a pair of bean-sized containers. At once, The Riddler's webcam was made useless, the screen filled with smoke before he heard the thundering of a thousand angry gods roaring, charging in his direction.

The door flung open, and standing in the vacant space was unmistakable silhouette of The Batman. Without getting a moment to prepare himself, The Riddler was overrun by a dozen light-speed strikes that grounded him in no time.
