Terror of The Night Sky

A name that struck fear into all those who lived on Berk. The creature was a dragon known as a night Fury a deadly monster born of Death and Lightning. Many people have gone to the forest where he was said to live they never came back. He soared through the air seeing some sheep he grabbed one in his claws and flew off happily with his catch flying off to the massive forest he called his own. He laid there and ate his catch relaxing on a massive cave on the cliff over looking Berk.

He laid there looking at the night and huffed and went into his cave finding the nice moss bed. He curled up and went to sleep happily till he hears footsteps close to the cave and his massive red eyes flew open. His scales on his back bristled angrily fangs bared deeply, great an intruder what his luck. He shot a plasma blast at the intruder in warning to get away.

It had been a few weeks now since Layla had entered the forest of the Terror of the Night Sky, and she had found a way to travel without being in too much danger. She knew her father had set up several men to go search for her but every time she heard them fall down a cliff, get attacked by a group of smaller dragons or simply ran off scared by the roar of the Night Fury.

She was climbing up a hill as she had watched the Night Fury in her time and knew where he lived, she knew it was dangerous and that she could get killed but she was going to try this and she was near. A plasma blast was shot off and she had in shock almost lost her balance. Now she stood straight and grabbed a fish from her bag. ''I hope you like this one..'' she said and threw it towards the cave, it ended almost inside and she watched from behind a big rock. ''Please.. come out...'' she whispered.

The NightFury saw her hide behind the rock and the fish there. He slowly slunk out of the darkness of the cave and teeth came out and grabbed the fish and eats it happily before dashing into the cave swiftly growling gently at the girl. She swished her tail side to side aggressively slightly like a threatened cat. His flaming intense eyes glowing sharply.

Layla couldn't help it but sigh happily. ''Thank you.. For trusting me'' she whispered, knowing he could hear her but still she wouldn't dare to come out. She threw another fish, to the exact place yet it ended closer to the rock where she was hiding behind and she swallowed. ''Oh gosh..'' she whispered and pushed herself against the wall, letting her bag with fish fall down. ''Shit!'' she whispered and knew this could be the last few minutes of her life.

The NightFury turned around seeing her and the fish bag dropping. He growled as he stayed in the cave but slowly slunk forward and grabbed the fish and eats it happily and gave a terrifying roar to the girl before dashing into the cave and hides in it growling at her his eyes still seen but that was all. His eyes watched her sharply.

Layla swallowed and left her hide place and peeked from behind the rock. ''I am sorry for disturbing you..'' she whispered, she took three fishes that where left in her bag and laid them down right before the cave. ''please. Spare my life, i don't mean to harm you... this, was ment to be my food too.. but I am horrible in making fire... I hope, you wanted to help me...'' she said and bowed her head for him.

The night fury growls his eyes glowing before he blasted the fish each and cooked them perfectly before curling up glowing at her shady. He closed his eyes as his wings curled around him making him invisible in the cave.

The warriors finally found her "Ong we found you" the leader panted and looked at her confused "what are you doing with the fish?" Asked confused looking at the cave slightly and then at her "Don't you know better then feed that monster?"

''Thank you'' she whispered and ate the fish carefully, she heard the warriors and cursed. ''Ssssh!'' she said and looked behind her. ''Don't you know how to be quiet?'' she answered him with the question and looked annoyed at the man. It was her so called Fiance and she didn't plan on going back. ''you better return to the village for your own sake because if he wakes up we all are in danger.. You simply couldn't find me and you were too scared for your man to die to keep searching'' she said and looked at him.

"I ain't leaving without you" he growled grabbing her arm sharply pulling her away from the cave. He pulled her over his shoulder and walked down the forest just as night was falling.

The night fury strikes the man on the back with a plasma blast forcing him to let go of the girl as the night furry racer at him as the male with drew his sword and lashed out sharply catching the dragons wing slicing it sharply.

Layla jumped away when the plasma blast hit the man and she ran to her 'fiance' and kicked him down to the ground. '' Are you crazy !'' she said and grabbed his sword, she turned it around and looked at him. ''I told you the first dinner: I am not gonna marry you because I will marry someone that sees me as a equal person, not as some souvenir together with becoming the chief on Berk'' she said and stuck the sword in his leg.

Then she turned to his two man and narrowed her eyes. ''Take him and leave, or I will slice not only his legs off, but also yours'' she said and then took a few steps aside again. She looked at the Night fury and saw how his wing was sliced in two. ''oh no!'' she said shocked and laid her hand on her mouth.

The NightFury growled in pain backing away blood coming from his torn wing and he dashed back toward is cave blood spilling. He hides in his cave and growled gently in pain and gave a deep roar.

The group left for now telling the cheif that his daughter had befriended the night fury

Layla looked at the dragon and swallowed, she then slowly walked to the cave. ''I know that you can't talk but I believe you can understand me.. Can I come in? I don't mean to harm you... Please let me help you, I can see if i can help you keep your wing..'' she said and swallowed again. Her only hope was now that he was understanding her and that he knew she came here in peace and didn't want him death

The NightFury gave a deep growl fangs bared at her as he watched her with glowing intense eyes before he just laid down his wing was nearly off his body as the sword had sunk in deep. He laid there tense but trusting her for now hoping she wouldn't bring trouble in to his life or home.

''I am very sorry for getting you wounded... You see, everyone thinks you are a monster, but I don't think so'' she said and slowly walked inside, she sat down and looked at the wing. ''A wingless dragon, is a death dragon... That's why he went for your wings...'' she whispered and laid a soft hand on his wing and looked at him. ''but I'll help you'' she said and then took of her bag several rolls of bandage that she had taken with her when she ran away from home.

''it might just be enough but then I'll have to find something to replace it with when these need to be cleaned.. Please don't bite my hands.. or head... off Sky..'' she said and looked at him. ''In Berk they call you Terror of the Night Sky.. I thought of using a name for you but... You don't seem to be a Terror to me, more someone that needs to survive while we, humans, took a piece of your habitat..'' she said and took out a little bottle. ''this might sting'' she said and let the potion slowly drip over the wound. ''But it will clean your wound, so it won't swell and become irritated'' she whispered.

The dragon growled at her and snarled at the stinging wound that was healing. He backed away from her with a soft growl looking away slightly and gave a huff and laying his head on the ground. He wanted to fly out there and burn that human to the ground but that wouldn't help him. He closed his eyes as his wounded wing flapped weakly.

''Don't be such a baby..'' Layla then said and giggled some, she took the bandages, putted the same potion on that too and the placed the bandages over his wing, keeping the wing in place so he would be able to fly again in the future. ''Ssssh now.. I know you would probably love to kill me right now.. But I mean good to you'' she said and when the bandage was placed she got up from the ground and smiled. ''I'll go get some fish.. At least I hope the net isn't broken down by those pathetic rescuers of mine'' she said and walked out. ''stay put, you can't fly until it's fully healed, that will only cause more trouble'' she said

A few hours later, right before dawn, she came back with a pretty big net filled with fish. She had been watching little dragons hunt on the fish and had seen them avoid eels so she had taken out those already. She walked up the hill and panted a little since the net was pretty heavy. ''My god.. I hope this is enough for you for the next two days Sky'' she said and in front of the cave she let the net rest on the ground and rested against the big rock she had been hiding behind earlier that night.

As dawn came the dragon shifted his figure to that of a male with red golden hair and the night furies wings but they went into his back as he walked toward entrance of the cave but froze seeing the girl was back. He was hoping for a few minutes and slowly came out nervous.

Layla looked up seeing him and her eyes widened. ''You aren't... Who are you and what did you do with the night fury?!'' she said, she didn't at first even notice he wasn't wearing any clothes and then turned around, cheeks red as the flames from the Monstrous Nightmare. ''Put clothes on!'' she said and softly slapped herself on her cheeks to take away the redness, or so she hoped it would work.

The male chuckled and gets on his clothing and streachex and walked out slowly "I did nothing to the night fury" said as he had five daggers and a sword and a archery set with strange design. He looked like royalty
