“Did somebody say... Gooey?”

Aoi is often seen wearing clown-like attires on the streets and during missions, however her 'casual' apparel revolves around a basic T-shirt with a basic skirt with basic leggings, sometimes stockings. The color she enjoys associating with herself the most would be blue and yellow, for some odd reason. She also dislikes sandals and sticks to civilian shoes, or during mission, her circus footwear. She's also fond of little bells hanging off her clothing and the peak of her shoes.

Her body is exceptionally flexible, enough to be considered a contortionist, however her muscle mass is relatively low, making her weak on the strength side. Thin and small, it enables her to be extremely agile and quick on her feet and movements. Coupled with her greatest asset: near perfect dexterity, she is a force to be reckoned with in a physical level too.

Although many boys consider her pretty, her main asset in social interactions lies in her ability to illuminate rooms with her radiant optimism. She essentially makes herself much prettier to the opposite sex through her mannerisms and tendencies to seek their attention.

【Personality】
Visually an air headed, bubbly teenage girl with a need to enjoy life to the fullest. Her behavior is coupled with a need to be the center of attention, to be recognized as an existing being with a significance to this world, hence her goofy attitude and desire to please her crowd. This however is questionable when one realizes the themes she selects when verbally expressing her humor, dark themed jokes are fine but when applied to targets she is under the obligation to kill, her motives and psyche become questionable. Nonetheless, no signs of psychopathy or any social disorder are to be determined. She's actually quite altruistic and friendly toward those she recognizes as either family or friends, but it is evident that she holds a strong level of egocentric behavior.

She is however one to play with her food and make a spectacle out of it. In fights she'll often stage something irrelevant in order to reach her goals while pleasing her audience. She never hesitates, whether it is to be silly or to seize an opportunity. Some might say she's fearless, others believe she is stupid or insane, but the truth of the matter is she has a large amount of experience in presentation and executing nearly flawless moves, making this relatively easy for her. Her lack of education before entering the ninja program and difficulties in reading and writing barely hinder her performance.

She appears to be a rather sensitive person, however, taking rejection exceptionally badly, to the point of being depressed. Her outgoing character can easily be vanquished by a simple critique. She is capable of killing someone over such a critique, but most of the time she'd sulk for a week or two.

【History】
Like many children living in an era of poverty in smaller countries, Aoi was abandoned by her parents a few hours after her birth. Fortunately the parents didn't randomly leave her at a home but instead confided her to the renown Don Maquia troupe as they passed the country. They knew leaving an abandoned child there would motivate them to keep it, as it was how they usually made staff.

And so, she was raised in a gypsy-esque environment where travelling was frequent and work was every day, no real weekend. As she grew up, Jouro Don Maquia would not cut her some slack and initiated her to the realities of labor and hardships, but she never really complained as it felt normal to her. It didn't mean she was devoid of any fun, if anything fun was something they managed to develop during work and practice for performances. Usually by mixing the two, Aoi and her closest friend Mia had fun doing their chores while doing various acrobatic acts. She was happy with what she had, and couldn't care less about her biological parents.

At one point, she'd be initiated to one of the troupe's secrets, a special way to manipulate chakra without being unique. She had a strong affinity for water, being from the Rain village, and naturally developed the abilities to hide in water and rain, but she had no knowledge of chakra otherwise. The basics were learned through usual practice, walking on water impressed many civilians, so it was general practice, substitution made great magic effects, fake clones too and so on. Chakra was something that enabled great success for the troupe, however the true secret revealed to Aoi's specific affinity would be her mucus ability. With it, she'd easily impress her audience while being exceptionally flexible in most domains. Initially, it wasn't meant to be a weapon, but through creativity, she managed to defend herself from low bandits trying to rob the troupe.

Eventually reaching Konoha, multiple Jounin took notice of her unique capabilities that they had never seen before and offered her the chance to become a ninja. Realizing how it would approach her to her goal, she righteously accepted and moved on as a Genin without any Academy training (she was more than capable in entry levels). The only problem would be that she'd be unable to read and write, causing problems to her superiors. Sure she managed to learn most of it, but she isn't quite efficient at it, being a slow reader and writing so poorly it's barely comprehensible. She easily learns new lingo, however.

Upon reaching the ranking of Chuunin, she realizes how close she is getting to becoming a world renown figure that left her mark.

【Family ties】
Aoi's ties are rather strange to say the least. She wasn't raised by ordinary parents, but rather grew up as a carny along with the entire Don Maquia troupe. Her relationship with them is worthy of a sibling-type relation, as they grew up with her since she was in diapers. They did not object to her ambition of becoming a famous ninja, having formed her for such usage in any case. They continue to support her through letters and regular visits at Konoha.

Bo Don Maquia | Spiritual Uncle | 44, Don Maquia Troupe, The lion tamer of the troupe, he often took care of Aoi when she had fallen ill or when Jouro wasn't around.

Guru | Pet | 8, Don Maquia Troupe, Aoi's attributed animal she had to raise. It is an elephant she often uses in her performances in the troupe.

【Dreams and fears】
Aoi dreams of great fame and crowds, reaching the pinnacle of bliss and recognition. By becoming a high level ninja, she hopes to attain the ranks of the heroes of this world and have her face carved in some stone somewhere, never to be forgotten. Along with that, she dreams of performing in front of all five Kages and Daimiyos, only to have them all cheer for her success, accompanied by fireworks and the likes.

As for fears, she's terrified of failing, to the point of of breaking down in depression if she feels as though things have not gone her way during a performance. She is scared of never being remembered positively, or even worse, at all.

【Fighting style】
Sporadic and deceiving are what define her capabilities in the field or even in sparring in general. Aoi does not use brutal force nor does she cautiously wait for her prey, she seizes any initiative to pull off a very specific stunt. She considers her battles a performance, and it must be perfect, meaning every move must be executed correctly. She tends to stage her moves and perform multiple magic tricks to deceiver her opponents as she lays her trap. She combines speed, agility and craftiness to kill her prey before it can even show its trump card.

Description:
Although not a true bloodline limit, very few in the world are able to master this ability. Essentially it requires initiation from birth and at least an affinity to water, thus it can be classed as a form of Hiden. Rare societies such as the Don Maquia troupe have maintained its secrets. Basically, it enables the wielder to turn their chakra into different form of oozing mucus that can take the form of different imagined objects and have the properties of things such as rubber or gum. The possibilities are quite huge but the product coming from it is thick liquid-like substance that almost always sticks.
Strengths:
Generally it keeps the properties of rubber and gum, making it not only dangerously adhesive but strongly resistant to kinetic force coming from blunt strikes. When used as a medium to trap others, it is surprisingly lethal and effective. Strongly resistant to burns.
Weaknesses:
Generally easy to cut through depending on the mass and density, which only require extra strength put into cuts. Those with superior physical strength can resist the stickiness to a great extent, even break it under conditions.

Description:
A transparent strand of mucus is created from her body and can be released from any point she desires. The strand itself can have one end stuck against a target she had contact with as much as she can have it latch onto something from a distance (by pointing at it or something similar). While being transparent, it has little to no texture and can barely be felt if touching the skin due to its lack of smell, taste or consistency. This mucus, however, is dangerous for many reasons. It can contract and release whenever Aoi desires (its her chakra after all), the contraction being exceptionally powerful like a form of 'super-rubber', allowing her to pull our push relatively heavy thing by simply connecting the strand to her index finger. The strength and weight of the target will determine the amount of chakra is demands for the contraction strength. She can also transfer it from her finger to say another target and have it contact, causing one or both the targets to be pulled and hit each other. She can use up to fifteen at once. They can be easily cut, however they do not vanish, making them susceptible to being reattached at any moment. Ripping it off would be logical, however if it was to contract, it would be relatively futile.
On lighter objects, it can tighten itself to a point where it can act like a chakra thread, manipulating said smaller objects at will, though that doesn't mean she can be as precise as a puppet master.

Self, Clone technique
Description:
Essentially shadow clone technique applied on mucus. The clones are composed of strange, green mucus and are able to move like regular people. They can also both use mucus abilities with half the power of the original (in exception to techniques higher in rank than this one. When they die, they explode into a heavy mass of mucus that sticks onto anything around them, hence their use as suicide bombers to hinder the movements of an opponent.

By wielding a cloth the size of her forearm, she can apply a slight variation of the Generic Sealing Technique an have it work as a magician's cloth. The cloth itself is used to make objects warp to a storage where they can be solicited at will. The goal of this cloth is to wrap around objects (completely or partially depending on the size), whether they are the opponent's or her own and apply to generic sealing to have them stored elsewhere. This makes it appear as though she made the object vanish. Subsequently, the object is unavailable until the cloth is taken from her (as it gains priority over other summonings). If the cloth is stolen, and touched by anyone else, anything it recently contained is released in one go.

Description:
A much more developed variation of the transformation technique. Indeed, the user covers themselves with a gooey layer of mucus capable of taking different shapes and sizes, colors and textures. The mucus is highly adhesive though, enough to make it act like quicksand: The more there's resistance, the deeper it gets, though it cannot be that deep because of Aoi's thin figure. It is very useful for trapping though not too specialized in hand to hand combat. Those specialized can use their techniques to break free with relative ease, though it doesn't mean that they're immune to the immediate effects. It doesn't give immunity to heat either, though it does slightly reduce overall damage, along with any other type of damage really.

Description:
By either using a specific hand sign or inhaling things like pepper, Aoi sneezes large mucus bubbles capable of swallowing more than one individual. The larger that it can get would be as large as a horse. Those trapped inside can easily pop it, however it would result in the bubble imploding, not only causing strong pressure to hit their bodies, rendering most to a rather confused and head aching state, while being covering in dense mucus stuck on the ground. This also causes smaller, human size bubbles to take shape. If the popping is made from outside, the explosion is general and hits everyone except those inside.

“Watashi wa Kami, I am God.”

Yamato generally dresses in a decently fashionable apparel. He likes to wear t-shirts or sweatshirts with a jacket of sorts over it. Under that he usually wears chino's of varying color, although that differs day to day. He really only has 2 pairs of shoes, a pair of black slip ins and a pair of white slip ins. Attached to his belt is a blue apron style cloth, with on it the motto of the Minamoru clan, 'We wish to remain what we are.' A rather cryptic motto, but it's meaning is generally understood in the Minamoru clan. Above the motto is the emblem of the clan, a set of black stags antlers. But enough about his clothes, as these obviously change every day.

Yamato is defined as a handsome boy, having a chiseled jawline and somewhat skinny-looking cheeks. His nose bridge is quite thin, although not as if it were a stripe. Contrary to most with a thin nosebridge, his nostrils are also thin. Besides that he has no specific bone structure related characteristics. His eyes are a deep dark green, but not so dark that they can be mistaken for a grey-black colour. In accordance with genetics they are slightly slanted. His hair is black and relatively short, and is usually slicked back with hairgel, and then held in place with a blue bandana tied behind his head.

Yamato's body is 'normal' in terms of muscle and fat. He has some obviously defined muscled due to the nature of their schooling, as a normal shinobi is expected to keep up with his athletic properties. His arms are skinny, meaning that the muscles there are by nature more defined. Without flexing you could most likely see the muscles regardless. The same goes for his legs. His chest is not very broad nor does it extend towards the front due to musclemass. Regardless he does have some definition there, although you probably wouldn't see it very often due to his clothes.

【Fighting style】
Yamato's fighting style revolves entirely around the attack, offensiveness and taking down an opponent with hard hitting blows. Defense is almost nonexistant in his style, as he barely needs it. He is extremely resilient, as mentioned before, and as such he can take a lot of hits of any kind without showing signs of pain. Besides that, he is also someone who never, ever gives up. As such he will keep getting up even if he knows he cannot win - an admirable trait to some and a sign of stupidity to others. Another aspect of his style is courage, in the form of never being frightened. He is going to be the first to jump into battle and he's going to do so with an aggression bound to shake hearts and silence voices.

Very close range, as it is nintaijutsu.
Description:
The technique begins by creating a short series of seals ended by a Tiger seal. After this the user flicks his wrists and they are set ablaze. Not yet taking a shape the user must focus the chakra around this area for a short period, in the case of Yamato a second or two. After this is done the fire becomes hotter, akin to a bunsenburner in heat, and the fire will take the color blue as a result. The resulting heat is enough to roast skin even if it's not touching the fire, and enough to severely burn anyone that gets in direct contact with the flames, enough to cause third degree (yes, that hot) burns when you get directly hit by a punch of this technique. Anyone standing nearby Yamato will feel the heat emenating off of the boy, whether they are friend or foe, before he leaps into the battle. The fire takes the shape of a lions head, akin to the two guarding lions that stand outside most wealthy places or places of public interest.

The technique might also be used on the feet, although in that case the overall strength of the technique would be toned down because it would sap away chakra from the fists. In this case, the fists would still take form of a tiger, but the fire around the feet wouldn't.

Description:
Yaoku's Revenge sets the user ablaze for a short time, appearing to others as an explosion. In reality it works as a distraction, while the user cocks his hand back which is then lit ablaze. The single hand will be heated up so much, that it overpowers even the Fists of a Tiger technique, heating up to the extent where it will be able to melt both skin, muscle and bone. The intensity of the technique requires so much chakra that it is pretty much a one shot option only. After the required heat is reached, a matter of seconds for a prodigy like Yamato, the user lunges forwards through the explosion he caused himself and launched his fist into the enemy, melting skin first, then fat and muscle, and finally bone before the hand cools down. If used effectively, and the hit connects, it will be a one shot kill on even the most brutal enemies. But it requires accuracy, something that is often lacking when an enemy is moving around, and also because the explosion caused by Yamato would obscure his vision. Besides that the large chakra cost means it's a last effort before he'd have to retreat from the fight, something that Yamato could obviously never do.

Description:
This technique is a secret trump card held in high regard by the Minamoru clan. Not many outside of the clan know of it, because it's a rather rough technique on both the victim and the user. The users can begin this technique by forming the Tiger seal, after which it cannot be stopped anymore. The user envelops themself in flames, starting out akin to any other fire technique and indistinguishable at this time, looking rather harmless. However this all leads to an explosion. An explosion of the user itself into fiery death. In essence it's a fiery suicide technique that will blow up the user plus anything within 1.5m of the technique, and will damage anything up to 5m around the technique. The bad side? If you use this technique you die.

【Personality】
Yamato is a bright young man, widely regarded in Konohagakure as a prodigy of attack. This is seen in his psyche as well, as the boy has shown aggressive and violent tendencies from time. Some would call it a short fuse.. and others call it being a thug in the making. Regardless of which is true, the boy also has shown impeccable resilience, stead fastiness and a healthy dose of respect for tradition. Rumour within the Minamoru clan has said this is due to the amount of training that got instilled into him at an early age, and that he instills into himself daily even still. The boy also hates kekkei genkai for one reason or another, a sentiment shared by the entire clan, and some radicals even go so far as to wish those with a kekkei genkai dead.

Yamato is a good student, and gets very good grades compared to those in the same years as him. He has shown a talent for, how could it be anything else, taijutsu and nintaijutsu, focussing especially on the offensive. This goes well with his aggressive nature and he is known to be able to take down opponents in a matter of seconds, although his defense is less than average. Despite attempts to convince him, his resilience has proven that fruitless. Then again, the boy is a prodigy and nobody has been able to prove that the boy might need a defense as well. This has affected his personality in a more or less negative way, although that is open to interpretation. The boy is somewhat arrogant, and while he wouldn't boast about his skills, he is fully aware of his status as a prodigy. This has given him the idea that he is above everyone else, and he has remained to keep this idea as he's been unhindered by anyone who could prove him wrong.

【History】
Yamato's childhood years were essentially a calmth before the storm. He spent his first four years as most children his age did - calmly in the arms of his mother, and playing outside. Then at the age of four, his father decided that it was time for him to become ready. Determined to make the clan greater than it already was, he hired a teacher who was to teach Yamato the basics about being a shinobi. No, he didn't learn any techniques, but learnt the mental side of shinobi's, namely rules, history and things you needed to know. This affected his school career indirectly as he had more background knowledge than most when he entered base school. During his time at base school he had interest in making friends and preferred to learn techniques, practice taijutsu or throwing and fighting with kunai and shuriken. He often sparred with others, showing of his tenacious and aggressive nature in these matches. He often ended up fighting kids that were bigger and older, beginning to make a name for himself. He became a genin at the age of 12 like most others and went on to attend the high school to become a chunin.

During high school years he maintained a very steady level of training, to maintain his position within the clan which had grown by now. He became, more or less, the pride of his clan and family, and went unrivaled within the clan. In highschool he maintained a same degree of authority, although there were those that had problems with it, he found that he barely had any problems maintaining his position as the people that objected were often not even close to his level of mastery. Although this makes him sound like a hard ass, all he wanted was for people to more or less leave him alone. The only people he could really get along with in a semi-friendly way was his former genin team, which was still centralized for the most part.

As for the hatred of people with kekkei genkai, it stems from the preconceived notion that people with kekkei genkai seem to think themselves special, untouchable or even godlike, and when you pair that with historical events focussing around kekkei genkai and being mostly negative, it results in a hatred that is widespread amongst this clan, which has seen it's fair share of bad luck to do with kekkei genkai during the centuries. Besides that Yamato is of the opinion that he could beat a kekkei genkai easily through strength and a superior will to work for something.

【Family ties】
Yamatos family was rather normal, if you keep in mind that he grew up with a family that was not only his father and mother but also included close relatives of those people. Given that his father is the clan head, he has always felt like the entire clan was his family, and not just his father and mother. As such he always felt a great drive to do well, for the honor of the clan. Furthermore the birth of his younger sister when he was 2 added to his drive as he was under the pretense that he'd get to, or even have to, teach her.

Reijo Minamoru | Father | 42, Konohagakure, although often away on bussiness, politician and economist, it's said he has a pair of mistresses in any city.
Mika Minamoru | Mother | 36, Konohagakure, restaurant owner and part time mother, she is a hard worker who never complains. Atleast she likes to think so.
Rei Minamoru | Sister | 14, Konohagakure, student at the highschool, 2nd year. Popular girl, but unlike Yamato she finds practicing boring and she'd rather spend her time away from home with friends.

【Dreams and fears】
Yamato secretly dreams of a world where there are no kekkei genkai as this would, in his eyes, greatly reduce conflict. Furthermore he dreams of making the Minamoru clan even greater than his father did, to outdo him in something that his father was already very good at. As for fears, Yamato fears causing death and dishonor to the clan, which goes without saying. Besides that he also fears losing respect from the clan and, to a lesser degree, to his classmates.
