THE LORE OF THE LAND:
The Lands of Aelwyn.
Laevren - Home to the Elven population in Aelwyn. Predominantly Wood Elves have taken root here but some High elves and Drow have settled here. Laevren is known for its dense wood land, lush tundra and green mountains.
Capital: Illiares
Gerwidd - the land of men. Though, of course, many other races have found a home in Gerwidd – the population is mainly Human. Gerwidd boasts the most diverse landscape; from steep mountains and deep canyons to thick forest and waving rivers.
Capital: Idrewol
Keridian – the stage for a long and bloody feud. The kingdom of Keridian is split in two. In the centre stand the dwarves of pale seed, they hold the mountains to the south and most to the north and have settlements – Dibrewene and Vaelmor. On either side of them are the orcs and half-orcs of the realm. To the east, amongst Darben Forest and along the coast in Norkhol, is Clan Durg. To the west, holding some key areas in the mountains as well as Durselan, are the grey orcs.
Kharda – with no official government or particular race in charge, the flat expanse of Kharda is home to many, both good and evil. Its settlements are run by crude law enforcement or by competitive gangs and are known for their large shanty town areas as well as their fine palaces and manors. Do not trust the roads of Kharda - as they are filled with criminals and bandits. Beware of the wastes, dust clouds are frequent and many travellers have lost their ways there. The red chasm appeared 300 years ago, a large quake shook the entire continent, and the town of Rah was split in half as the earth tore. Since then many have sought to explore its depths, all have failed.
Elhand Island – an ancient city lies at the southern tip of the island, abandoned by its previous rulers, now home to many criminals and fugitives as well as the Red Hand Guild. As for the rest of the island, most of it is rolling grassland and the occasional outpost or farming fief.
Durmhon island -Very few know of any of the islands areas, and even fewer can give you any specific locations and details. For thousands of years this island has been Ruled over by the monsters of the realm, including centaurs, goblins, ogres and many more.
Fang island – contrary to its ambiguous title the island is not home to any vampires, as the Sentinels of Light have their headquarters here. The island is strictly not part of any kingdom and is ruled over by a large council of mixed standing and race. The north is fishing country and has many high peaks. The south has dense forest and is separated into many different smaller areas of land owned by lords who fight for dominance.
Presently the only large scale war occurring is the fight for Keridian.
