The moment Scoot opened his eyes he realized he was not sleeping in his bed as usual, he looked around wondering why everything was upside-down until he noticed he was the only one upside-down, tied by the leg and hanging from the school's roof.

"Damn vodka..."

He muttered a bit annoyed, the fact of being in that place was not the problem, the problem was he was just wearing his favourite hearts design underwear.

After a few seconds the zombie teacher managed to untie himself, falling from the fourth floor and breaking his neck due to the impact.
A few minutes passed until he regained consciousness, he revived to be exact.

"Damn Classes already started!"

He shouted and ran inside the school, he only had time to get some female gym shorts...And thats how the day started for the students surprise

Edo slammed open her door, wheeling herself speedily outside. Heading towards the colosseum next door. She had an office there. For her job. Edo, a sixteen year old girl with a job already. Well, she was great with psychology and math. So she was in charge of organizing fights in the colosseum. Edo entered her office, kittens on her lap, and her puppies trailing behind her, yapping at each other, bounding steadily onward.

Rie and Kookie sat on Edo's shoulder, once she had parked herself at her desk. Meima chased her tail, like a little puppy. The kittens were happily sleeping, Edo's puppies were playing together, and Edo worked, writing the logs and records of all the fights, detailed descriptions of them. It was part of what Edo considered her job. Making the records of all the fights. Edo worked, pencil skirting and flying over her papers, describing all the fights that Edo had yet to record.

"Crap, breakfast!" Edo shouted, realizing she had yet to eat. She sped out of her office, zipping away from the colosseum, heading towards a cafe. She had fed all her pets, but neglected to feed herself. Well, that was Edo for you. Always working so hard, that she forgets to feed herself. She remembers all but food. Doing all that she needs to, feeding her pets, but often having to be reminded.

Edo sped into the nearest cafe. She was sort of a regular here. Often speeding there in order to get herself a meal.
"I'll have my usual," Edo told the waited before wheeling over to her normal table. the waiter brought her a chocolate pastry, a cinnamon roll, and a mug of raspberry tea. Edo continued to write her records as she ate her pastries and drank her tea.

Miag in the meantime was currently in the cafe with a potential customer. He always felt that the more public the place he had meetings the better he looked. He normally had Silica with him but she was at school at the time, he could always call her if he needed help though. Miag was currently talking with a Centaur who was interested in buying skooma but wanted to know about how it was made.

Silica meanwhile was at school, she had laughed at the kid who was upside down with the others before going to class, she may be the adopted sister of a Skooma dealer but that didn't mean she didn't still have to go to class. She had her ink gun in her backpack with her, along with the tube that collected her ink that came out of the back of her neck.

A simple day.

This, was not something Alice was used to by any means. For being a member of the defending force of the great city state of Lacosta was something of a monumental task. With the city being so.... "accepting" of all creatures, including world destroying demons, many nations, organizations, and various terror/religious groups always have a bone or two to pick with the city. Thus, it was not uncommon for one or more of those groups to attack the city at least once a week.

Never really a dull moment for the young pilot.

Alice tiredly climbed out of her now beat up jet as the engines whined down, the ground crew chief running up to meet her. "Heya their capt! Good hunting this morning?" He asked, walking up beside the tired pilot. The LSAF was constantly rotating pilots on various schedules to keep up with their patrol rates. The angels, demons, and otherwise exceedingly powerful protectors usually had their hands full with outside counterparts, so somebody has to deal with the more... conventional threats. Alice had unfortunately been forced to fly very, very early this morning, only to meet lost pilots and the occasional rogue enemy. Exhausted, Alice simply waved the man off and headed for the barracks to change.

Changing out of her flight suit and into her dress uniform, she made her way into the city to a cafe, hoping some warm tea, a biscuit, and some relaxing could ease her tired head. Sitting down among her fellow customers, she waited for an employee to serve her. A first timer to the place, she noted with relief the cafe was not to busy, hopefully getting her the peace and quiet she deserved.

*A few hours earlier*

"I'm sorry, Tenshi-sama, but it seems that we're broke... I'll try to get the bishop to send us more money again, but it'll not be until the weekend." The young priest said to Tenshi just after she'd asked him for money to buy a few more manga. He had an apologetic expression in his face, like he was trying his best not to hurt Tenshi's feelings, but the truth was that she spent too much and earned to few money, there was no way the budget allowed to a wayside chapel like the one they lived could afford such a living.

"Ok, then, I guess I've bothered you enough... but I know it, I'll try to get a job... maybe..." Tenshi answered sounding not so convincing. She had a dejected look in her eyes, but it wasn't because the priest hadn't given her money, but because for the first time in her existence she thought that she was bothering someone with her laziness.

'But why was it?' She wondered, even though the answer was quite obvious based on the way she behaved around the young priest.

And so it was it that Tenshi had just left the church to find her first job in... well, ever since the dawn of time, to be true.

The first place that she could find a part-time job where they would accept someone totally inexperienced like her was at a small cafe near the city colosseum. The manager said that they were terribly understaffed and so didn't even made many questions before sending Tenshi to the locker room with a relatively new uniform so that she could start working ASAP.

"Thank you... lady!" Tenshi said, somewhat awkwardly, as she delivered the order of one of the patrons, a blue haired girl in a wheelchair, that seemed to be so concentrated in reading a few papers that she confused Tenshi for a man.

there was something exhilarating about waking up to hitting the floor. the burning smell helps as well. evidently whir was attempting to cook. he should never be allowed to cook. everything he touches tends to combust. ark pushed himself off the floor and ran towards the kitchen, making a punching motion. the punch condensed the air around it, cousing a projectile of wind...which helped fuel the fire.

"you done goofed" "thank you nyx for being soooo helpful. at least whir attempted to do something, even if the whole house is burning now."

the fire enveloped them, causing nyx, the shade, to flicker in and out of existence. atleast in this fire he would finally get some time alone. but there would now be the problem of actually eating and finding something to do. boredom leads to thinking, which gives nyx a opening, even if the two of them had a agreement for now. he grabbed his bag and his two serrated great-swords, and calmly walked towards the door, still burning

"oy whir, im going to need your help. i need to find something to eat that will not burn down the town." well there is that cafe over by the Colosseum"ohh we could fight there afterwards. would be a nice distraction from starting Armageddon"" i have already told you we are not blowing up this planet." "aww. should i cancel my hydrogen project" "how do you even have one?" "hard work and determination"

"Where is King Varo?" Ask Ryu storming in threw the warded gates of the Dredic compound.

Suddenly the entire room faded to black. The cold darkness clinging to the soul. "What is it that has fire at heel to bring you storming...IN MY HOUSE!!!" bellowed Varo as the darkness receded to reveal him standing in Ryu's face with a devilsh grin.
"I said.."
"My lord....i..i...i just wanted to say the clan is eager." Stammered Ryu as the darkness clutched his heart.
"Is that all..." Laughed Varo." Well lets remedy that shale we"said Varo .
As he turned and walked to his throne made of the heads of leaders threw out time; pillar's of flame and shadow sprouted threw the courtyard.

"It is time for some fun... Koga gather the clan. And see if their are any new clans in this city." Said Varo plopping in his throne.
"An make it quick Koga.... Or else " he laughed

Edo munched into her pastries, barely focused on anything outside of her work. Not much noise was registered. Not many people were registered. Her pets were happily napping or playing with each other. And Edo was eating and working. It was normal. This was the sprat of routine that was repeated almost every day at different times. Yesterday it had been at two in the afternoon. Before that, eleven in the morning. It repeated. Edo would come to the cafe whenever she remembered that she needed food. And on the plus side, Edo would get the chance to interact with other town members and the sorts, if she noticed them.

After one more round of orders, Tenshi's break finally came, she untied her apron and put it on a place behind the counter. She looked around the cafe to find a place to sit and enjoy her lunch, but there was not even a single free table. The one with least people was the table with the blue-haired girl in a wheel-chair so she moved there thinking that it wouldn't be a problem as long as she didn't bothered the other girl.

"Can I sit here?" Normally Tenshi wouldn't even bother to ask such a question, but since she was trying to keep her new job it would be best to be considerate towards the customers of the shop. The other girl didn't replied, so Tenshi took it as yes and sat a little sideways, trying not to get too much on the blue haired girl's field of vision.

While she was enjoying a slice of cake and a cup of green tea that the cafe's master gave her, Tenshi felt something tugging the tip of her left wing, when she looked at the source of the sensation, Tenshi saw a kitty trying to climb her wing with its tiny little claws. It was probably one of the pets that belonged to the girl on the other side of the table.

Tenshi picked the little furball from the ground and, after placing it on her lap, began to pet it while smiling happily.

Lance was currently in his office which was about a block away from Colosseum. He had been working on some paper work for the past hour. What the paper work was for though was something that he was keeping a secret even from his own employees. He stretched after he finished his work and started to head off in the direction of one of his employees who was currently guarding someone at the cafe. Lance had a few masks with him, each able to change his body or give him super strength or super speed. He never liked rings, or jewelry to do that for him.

Maig in the mean time had just finished up a deal with the centaur about the Skooma. He had other wares the he sold was well and they were typically black market items at that, his most common was banned enchanted items. Maig turned his attention towards the lady with the cats and other animals. While he himself was a feline he didn't actually like cats and was more of a dog person himself. As Maig started to leave he saw the angle near by. He left her buisness card without saying a word. It stated who he was and what he dealt in, this angel seemed like a big spender to him and he figured it would never be a bad idea to get more customers.

the fire was attracting a bit of attention, but this was not that unusual. its not everyday that you see a robotic burning wolf. he finally arrived at the cafe, but he now had the problem of entering the building without burning it down. perhaps he could open the door this way.. he drew one of his blades and pushed the door open. he walked up tho the counter. "i need some water as soon as possible. trust me on this one." he grabbed the water glass from the confused and shocked cashier, and pored it over his head, finally quenching the flames.

"thank god...can i have a sandwich? or hot chocolate?" he gave the cashier a small coin made of pure top grade gold, a neutronian penny. he could not understand why people gae him so much for these things, as they where near useless to him. the could at least take a anti-mater dollar. shesh.

he grabbed his marker and walked over to a table next to the person with 20 different pets. he put the marker down the marker, and knelt down to pet the small dragon. "mind if i pick him up? i had one like him once."

Edo smiled as the girl sat down. It was nice to have company, though Edo didn't really acknowledge the girl's presence. She giggled a bit though when Hallow began to tug at the girl's wing. Out of the corner of her eye, Edo noticed the girl pick up Hallow and put her on her lap, she seemed so happy that the girl was enjoying Hallow's company. She picked up Teru off her shoulder and put her on the girl's lap.
"This one's Teru. the one that tugged on your wing is Hallow," Edo said, smiling sweetly at the girl before returning to her work.
When a thing in a suit showed up and asked about Meima, Edo's baby dragon.
"Sure. That's Meima. She's female by the way. And watch out she can be a little bit destructive. She can breathe fire and spit acid. It can be bad. But don't worry, she means no harm," Edo said, not really looking up at the strange thing.

"My lord, the clan is ready"said Koga phasing into the courtyard.

Sitting on his throne Varo gazed at his kin. As he went to stand a swirl of shadows engulfed him then fell from his body like water revealing his chaos armor and his katana's.
"We will spilt in to three groups. Koga..you and the Vatiyo take the west end, Ryu the east end and ill take the Bradual with me down south" He laughed." Something tells me this is going to be fun"

"Hmm... thank you..." Tenshi said to the blue haired girl as she petted both kittens that were on her lap now. It was then that a kind of catman passed by the table where they were and placed a business card in front of Tenshi, before leaving without saying a thing. Perhaps he was a salesperson to a company that she never have heard about, nevertheless, Tenshi doubted that he would like to do business with an angel that couldn't even afford to buy a couple manga.

Talking about manga... since Tenshi still had a little remaining breaktime time she quickly went to the backroom, picked her latest magazine and came back to the table to read a few pages before getting back to work. She then began to read her favorite story [Gakuen Love!] just as she placed the kittens back in her lap.

A strange werewolf-thing (not that there's anything 'normal' is this city, anyway) came near then and, after asking began to play with the baby dragon that belonged to the blue haired girl, after dousing his(or is it hers?) flaming head with a cup of water that he got from the shop's clerk.

Tenshi felt strangely relaxed by the weird atmosphere of the place, so she thought that asking a few question to the other girl wouldn't be so bad. She didn't knew anyone else in this city, save for the priest, after all and the girl had been so kind to her that she thought that making at least one more friend would be a good thing.

"Hmm... excuse me... do you like to read anykind of story?" Tenshi asked after placing her magazine over the table and looking towards the other girl with a little uncertainty in her eyes. She has nerver been good at talking to others unless she was relaying a message from God, but it only struck her now, how awkward she really is. "Ahh... I'm sorry... I haven't said my name before asking a question... it's Tenshi."

ark held the little dragon in his hand, cradling it in his arms like other would hold a baby. "we should create another dragon when we get back." "YES! finally a step to world domination, with a beast like that we could wipe out lines of enemy with" "ok may not..."
he started scratching Meima's stomach, and the dragon dragon made some noises of pleasure. it spat up some acid, probably on accident, but no one could be sure, which simply rolled of arks arm, collected by his elbow and dripped on to the floor, melting a bit of the carpet. he sat down back at his table, waiting for the food, as the little angle asks if the girl reads any books.

"I'm sorry, I don't read very much. My job doesn't really account for very much time to read. I work at the colosseum. It's a fun job," Edo responded.
"Oh, and I'm Edo. Edo Animus," Edo said, realizing she was also supposed to say her name. Human interaction wasn't her forte after all.
"I don't mean to be rude, but what race are you?" Edo asked, genuinely curios. She then turned towards the lupine figure.
"And what about you? What's your name, your species?"

The sun shined down on the city below, the light reflecting off the tall skyscrapers of the city. They were a symbol of power, a symbol of wealth to both the city and those who owned them. However, in the eyes of one the most influential men in the world, it meant nothing. Why have one tower? Why not build.... an entire compound.....

Walter sat in the back of his armored SUV as they approached the gates. The guards there nodded, and let them through. He was on his way to an important meeting of the city council, a meeting that would determined whether the city would start turning over its districts to AVA Ind. for policing as things grew more... out of hand. He arrived at city hall, guards in tow. Plenty of people wanted his head on their plate, particularly rival PMC corporations and security agencies. AVA Industries's aggressive business tactics had put a lot of them out of the growing business, and plenty wanted to get back at him for it.

His security detail covered him to the main building and all they way to the actual meeting room. He entered and took his place at the head of the table. A symbol power, a symbol of the control he has been working towards for the past five years. Yes, he was in control. It was time he used it.

"Gentlemen, today marks a historic day for our city, a day where we can, perhaps, toy with the idea of security, of peace." Walter began.

Maigs ears perked up when he heard about the Coliseum, he often sold his goods there without anyone noticing thanks to Silica sneaking his products into the coliseum. He was almost always at the coliseum when there was a match to spread some goods, this would often cause a problem as well though.

Lance meanwhile finally came upon the city council meeting, he had walked all the way there after checking on one of his customers, yet no one had dared to hurt such a man as his security was everywhere, yet no one could see them thanks to their discreteness. Lance walked into the hall a bit late, he didn't even make a scene though as people didn't even notice him, only speaker would have noticed him, there were even a few gaurds in the room. "You say peace, but your men seem to say war." Lance objected as he entered the hall. He himself wanted to have his own buisness to over instead of AVA. "Your men would stick out far too much, it would be like everyone is being oppressed if we let you take over." He said with the same grin on his face.

ark looked up from meima "i am ark, a hybrid neutron solstice." " i am whir, a sentience ai, and the shadow is nyx, but we don't think that he can talk to normal people just yet" "by the way you said that you work at the Colosseum. im thinking of going there later, are there good fighters? actually never-mind ill just find out myself."

"Well.. fighter wise, the colosseums pretty good. We've got some good fighters and fun matches. But, surprisingly, some of the best fighters are the ones that don't fight," Edo told Ark. She was referring to the fact that some of the employees were quite good fighters even if they weren't the ones fighting at the colosseum. It was just something about working in a building with a history of blood and combat. It made you feel comfort and calmed them down. And there weren't a whole lot of people there anyways. Edo was one of the main employees. It was her, her boss, and one or two lower employees. But the employees really were strong. SO if Ark wanted a good fight, they were probably the people to go after.
