I suppose you're still mad about the Sino-Soviet Split RP centered around the recently-completed rail-hub at Chara?
^It's re-assuring, at least to me, to know that the WZ-131/Type-62 light tanks would only have to contend with old T-34/85s and IS-3 tanks drawn directly from the mothballed Federal Resserve Stockpile and issued straight to a cadre-conscript-army of Soviet Hardliners.

Aside from the "only replies on every other day begining with a W" and slow pacing... and maybe the tendancy to get more than a little side-tracked at all the other little Soviets actively trying to kill my character (resaulting in an IC living-arrangement that was far more complicated than it should've been*)... er... was there anything else actually going wrong with the RP?

It was under his authority to grant her refugee-status and place her in a humanitarian-aid camp [the less P.C. term is a "Concentration-camp" or "Internment-camp"]... but in a time of war such a post was often a death-sentance without trial of one sort or another. In addition, having no identification meant no burial-marker or hope for release even after the war ends (if she even survives that long) due to lack of documentation to even start a trial.
A more pragmatic officer may have simply shot the grieving woman, to reunite her with her brother.
Luckily for her, Qin was a hopeless idealist. His mind raced to think of a plan to keep her out of harm's way, without drawing attention. Fraternization with the enemy was still punishable by death.
"You will be assigned seprate accomodation in the company-barracks. Your duties will be assigned to you once you have been situated. Welcome to the 15th Armored Corps, Lei Beng 'Shadow'." At the last three untranslated words, it drew the attention of all others in the tank. He had assigned her a rank in their platoon, effectively drafting her into the People's Liberation Army. Once the payroll was adjusted, her name and rank would be made to coincide with a dead-soldier's serial number, thus gaining her a legal status and further protection under the Geneva Convention.

Yes, there is some liturature on the modernized Chinese military... but it's a bit hard to find... and the raw stuff is a pain to translate, thanks to simplified chinese character: GAN-4 (also, the reason why chinese characters are banned on this forum).

That's really not at all how I wanted the rp to go because it took a different turn and the plot wasn't...the plot...
Ah... somewhere along the line I inferred that you wanted a prisioner/slave setup, or the president's daughter held ransom (and somehow in a modern setting)... not... an allied-soldier trying to keep a refugee alive.
-Yeah, that's a pretty big difference in plot, come to think of it. The later is also probably even easier to do, just make it five seconds post-nuclear.

Hello im interested in a few plots but cant really decide :/ if it interests yiu you can pm me. The soldier x civilian one may be more realistic considering im in the armed forces

If it falls-through I've got a Chinese tank-squadron (Type 62-I) ready to roll.
-That, or some post-Prokhorovka 25th Tank-Brigade remenants (3 T-34-76, 12 T-70, 1 Su-122 [based on T-34 hull]).
