Yes and yes. The essence of Urd will be the same, but by actually making her family into people, we're giving her more material to work with. We've not begun writing on her yet, but we know a few things that'll change.

First of all, considering her age and the average age of marriage in noble families, she's bound to be seen as an eccentric lady. Secondly, the fact that she has no (publicly) known father is something that other nobles will know about.

Until we get further in the rewrite, we can't say whether the Alice plotline is optimal or whether another would work better.

@GrimmReconz TBH I think someone form the steel fist may work better as they will be more central to the story. Where as a slaver may be harder to incorporate into the story.
