stat system
controlled directly by the GM and co-GMs
What is the issue with a single GM controlled stat? I've run two WiRs respectively and those are entirely based on Stats run by the GM >.>
<Snipped quote by Chairman Stein>
It's a lack of creative control and the wide window for fabrication by the GM or the co-GMs to suit their own course of the RP since there's no on-sight program to track things like rolls or determine anything that couldn't otherwise be fabricated in the process of reading, interpretation, and assigning values for calculations. It's an undue complexity better suited for a simulation specefically designed or built to run these calculations on the spot with minimal human intervention.
If it must be done by a person, it's better run in a physical environment and where all equations are out and in the open for all players to check as they go and to keep a environment where everyone can keep the other in check.

Again, if you don't like it then don't join and don't whine about it if you aren't in it or planning to be it.
@Chairman Stein Got a map claim for you comrade!
Well, to be fair, in WiR generally the GM/Co-GM isn't a player. But regardless the stat can't exactly be abused if everyone is starting at the same level and then it increases/decreases based on player choices/decisions. I just honestly do not see the issue...
The Ma Clique shall rule China's steppes!
@Dinh AaronMkSo how do you prepose that we handle this then? The GM only has the power to accept apps and everything else cannot be interfered with?
If so, I see a tread that tends to happen with these free-form styled RP of them dying out pretty quickly. At least with the ones I've been in.
Question could I be the japanese that set up a foothold on the divided china.
