Peace. Peace has been achieved for nearly a couple hundred years now. Thanks to the efforts of Sora and his friends, threats like Organization XIII and the Heartless has been well dealt with in a large span of worlds and thus peace has been achieved in them, allowing these heroes to pass on from old age as they lived the rest of their days in peace. Of course, there are many, many worlds out there, and it is impossible to help them all. Or so one would think.

The World Defense System, or WDS for short, was an idea created by the previous or 4th WDC or World Defense Committee. This system, powered by Disney Castle's own Cornerstone of Light, was made to scan the various worlds in its reach and use the power of the Cornerstone to eliminate any basic threats of Heartless or Nobodies that appeared in various worlds. If more powerful threats appeared, then the WDC would be sent to deal with them, but luckily that has yet to happen since the system's conception about 50 years ago.

It is thanks to Sora's efforts that peace was achieved, and with this system it was maintained. Even now, the system is slowly expanding its touch to other worlds that were originally outside of the range of Sora's journey. Of course, there are many, many worlds out there as the universe is quite vast. Given time though, King Mickey and the WDC both believe that this system will be able to help protect many worlds out there and will make all Heartless threats just a thing of the past.

An abnormality has just been spotted by the WDS, something that seems off. Something that has never been encountered before. It doesn't seem like much, but still shows enough concern to mount an investigation. As such, King Mickey has decided to call forth the newest generation of Keyblade Wielders to the scene, in hopes that they will be able to investigate whatever this abnormal signature is and either be able to deal with it if its a treat or report it if it is harmless, the latter being the King's hope.

Will this strange signature be nothing at all, or will it be something that takes these Keybladers on a journey far greater than anything they could have anticipated... well... there's only one way to find out, isn't there?

But anyway, all this aside, if you read the INT Check then you know what this is about. If not... click that link, or read this short summary, up to you. This is a Kingdom Hearts RP, one I created a long time ago. One group of newbie Keybladers will discover and investigate a strange signature discovered by the WDS, and from there their journey will begin. Action, mystery, intrigue, adventure, and even dashes of horror will be present here and there.

Of course, this isn't going to be a totally typical KH RP. I may at times stray from the canon unintentionally. If that happens... well... it shouldn't be too upsetting. After all, if you are strictly canon only stuff... then this probably may not be your cup of tea, especially since we won't be exploring just Disney related worlds for both reasons of because I want to go to other worlds and actual plot related reasons that will be explained later (no 4th wall breaks though, probably should mention that, will not be breaking that 4th wall). Worlds of other games, anime, or manga may appear, and I am always up for original world suggestions as well.

Rules

I am not going to add a list of rules like you all are five years old. Just remember a few things. Its Casual, so know that one or more paragraphs will be preferred (I usually go High Casual with my own stuff). Of course, if you can't write a whole lot, that's fine, I prefer quality over quantity. Just... don't treat this as a Free RP. Also no insulting each other, OOC fighting, god modding, attention/spotlight hogging, etc.

Essentially... lets just have fun and do what we came here to do, make a good story and not piss each other off. Well, that covers the obligatory rules section.

Keyblade

Either a pic or description of the Keyblade your chara wields. No Sync Blade for now (that's two keyblades for those who didn't play KH II) and the special ability it grants.

Abilities

So these are the basic abilities your chara has and will gauge just what your character can do in and out of combat. There will be no game system or stat mechanics involved, but know that having more offensive abilities means you are stronger, defensive ones make you tougher, and magic ones mean you are a stronger mage. You can either consult the KH Wiki or come up with unique abilities. Remember though, you all are rather weak at the moment, so don't have too many or go too overboard with making strong abilities for yourself. If you feel like giving your chara abilities isn't really something you'd like to do... then talk to me and we'll figure something out.

You can have up to 5 abilities at the start unless you would have a reason for having more or less, as they sort of demonstrate the basics of how much combat training or experience your chara has and are a general measure of their strength. The acquisition of new abilities will occur as a showing of your characters growing stronger and they will be acquired whenever powerful enemies are beaten or worlds are cleared. Minor Abilities are gained whenever 'mini' bosses are beaten. These are rather more basic abilities, nothing too strong or unique, while the World Boss (or a powerful enemy) would let you get a more powerful ability like a stronger spell upgrade and etc.

Offense: Your various offensive attacks for laying the smack down on your enemies.
Defense: Your various protective techniques meant for shielding you or others from harm.
Movement: Various forms of movement techniques like Dodge Roll, High Jump, or Quick Run. Meant to help you get about. No Glide at the start.
Support: Your various passive abilities that inactively strengthen your abilities.
Magic: The various spells you can cast. They consume the energy known as Mana, which resides within your body.
Limit Breaks: Very powerful abilities that consume a bunch of stamina and all of your Mana and are best saved as a last resort. You may have one to start.
Drive Forms: A mysterious ability said to have been possessed by Sora. Allows one to transform to acquire new abilities for a short time. No one can have these at the start.
Summons: Allies you have befriended can be called to your aid using a unique spell that connects your heart to theirs, allowing you to call them from wherever they are. If you do want to have one, you can, but you can only have one to start. Unlike regular abilities, these are not acquired from fighting enemies, but from just certain characters you'll befriend and meet as your journey progresses.

He tends not to speak unless he is spoken to. Oswald is a bit of a tactician at heart, usually trying to keep his cool in most situations. He also isn't above using lies or deception to accomplish a task or to gain an advantage. However, whether he's telling the truth or an elaborate lie, he remains fiercely loyal to Disney Castle and to King Mickey, whom he thinks of not only as a friend but a brother as well. Word to the wise, though, even the calmest of individuals can be angered when the right buttons are pushed and Oswald is no exception.

History

Oswald has been a close friend of King Mickey for what seems like a countless amount of years. The two originally learned swordsmanship by sparring together, even before Mickey became King. It all seemed to change when Mickey one day called a mysterious key-shaped weapon to his hands. From then on, the two appeared to slowly drift apart. Mickey himself went away to train with Master Yen Sid, a retired Keyblade Master who had not trained any apprentices since his retirement, so his sudden interest in the young King Mickey was a great honor indeed. Even some of Oswald's other friends appeared to leave him behind, such as Donald becoming wrapped up in his magical studies under Merlin. It was shortly after the King returned from his training that Oswald made a fateful decision.

Feeling he was getting left behind by the others, Oswald expressed his desire to leave Disney Castle in order to do some soul searching and to train on his own. King Mickey was unsure about this idea, and tried to persuade Oswald to stay, only for the latter to angrily shoot his persuasions down and leave the Castle anyway. From there, Oswald wandered between worlds using a Gummi Ship prototype. He visited a few places and met some new friends along the way. But in his travels he was frequently approached by a woman in black. It was Maleficent, Oswald knew, as he had even been warned about her by Mickey before he left. But he found himself becoming more and more intrigued by her temptations, offering him a means to wield the same power the King himself held. Little by little, she granted him more and more power over the Darkness.

Later, Maleficent tried to attack Disney Castle in order to destroy the Cornerstone of Light. She put Oswald in command of an army of Heartless to invade the castle. When she herself entered the Throne Room, with only Mickey, Donald, and Goofy standing in her way, the most unexpected thing happened. Oswald struck, but did so against Maleficent. She accused him of treachery, but Oswald remarked that he could only be a traitor if he were ever loyal to her to begin with. As it turned out, Oswald's leaving Disney Castle was a mission given to him in secret by the King himself. Because Mickey possessed such strong ties to the Light, he needed someone, an agent, who could move about in Darkness to uncover his enemies' plans and sabotage them. What Maleficent thought would be her grand coup d'etat was, in fact, an elaborate trap that she walked right into. Naturally, Maleficent was furious and she attacked Oswald without any reservations. A battle ensued, and Maleficent was soon defeated, but not without a price. In her initial attacks, she managed to inflict grievous wounds on Oswald, wounds that under normal circumstances would be fatal. To save Oswald's life, the King put him in a machine that would keep him in a hibernation while it healed his injuries over time. But Oswald's wounds were so severe that he was not ready to awaken until nearly two centuries later.

On the surface, Lee comes off as a rather silly and lighthearted person, frequently engaging in comical behavior and retaining his oft-present grin even while making threats. He displays a childlike amusement for new situations whether or not they prove adverse or even potentially fatal, he has a penchant for wandering off his own only to get beat up for mouthing of to some thugs. Even with all these idiosyncrasies, he is extremely personable and has a particularly complimentary nature that easily gains him the friendship and trust of those surrounding him.

Of course, these aspects only hide the complex and determined young man underneath. On the reverse side of his frivolous nature is his considerable shrewdness, which makes him quite capable of reading people and situations. He is particularly observant, taking into consideration even the smallest details of his surroundings in order to better understand and deal with challenges and is not above using cheap tricks or questionable tactics to ensure his own survival. Being singularly ambitious, he has a remarkably tenacious will that allows him to overcome virtually insurmountable obstacles and accept inhuman burdens for the sake of his own ultimate goal. He has a considerable pride that will not stand for having his humanity insulted or condemned by his enemies, but is also capable of shelving his pride if it becomes something that will stand in the way of his objective.

He is very protective of his family and comrades, refuseing to allow any harm to come to them and often deeming their safety more important than his own in spite of his own personal ambitions and goals. He has to be reminded several times that his own safety is something upon which many people depend on and uses his loved ones as his primary motivation when all hope seems lost. As such, he becomes furious when observing those who willingly or remorselessly cast aside their own comrades or brethren and is sickened by the idea of superiors who reject their duty to those who trust them

History

Lee was born in Radiant Garden, the land finally had adopted it as its final and permanent name. He grew up at around the legends if the protects of the place he called home. " Radiant Garden Restoration Committee". Rumor said that they were a team like no other, a gun swordsman, a ninja girl, a mechanic, a duck, a Goofy, and a boy with a Key Blade, one who had killed 1000 Heartless, and deleted Organization 13.

Lee loved and adored all those stories and supposed legends, even if people believed it was fake. Lee regularly explored the Garden, playing with his friends as members from the Committee, his favorite being Leon. One day, with th few of his friends, he stumbled upon Merlin's old home. He found many amazing things, magic spell books, a large computer, and many other things. Lee decided to keep this place a secret from others, but only to those very close to him.

The more Lee dreamed of becoming a hero and protecting Radiant, the more curious he got about the KeyBlade, it was the only way to kill the Heartless, well, outside the capability of the WDC. With his curiosity getting the best of him, Lee traveled to the Black Castle, hoping to find more info. A place that was forbidden and closed off by the Committee all those years ago. Things went bad quickly though, the place was drenched in darkness, so much that is affected Lee's mental capabilities. Suddenly, a Key blade appeared, cleansing him and allowing him to escape. The Key Blade dissaperaed, but his excitement did not, he could now play as Sora.

Over the years, Lee slowly gained knowledge on how to utilize the key blade, by using the notes in Merlin home. There was not a lot of information, but it was enough to teach him of to defend himself with it. He had created a new Committee, although he is the only member. Lee though he was the only one in the universe with this power, until he met Mickey.

Lee wields his Key Blade in the unorthodox style, but in battle, he may switch to the orthodox style.

Keyblade

Crimsion Storm

Abilities

Offense: Mirrored Storm: Lee creates an transparent double of himself that stand behind him as long as long as this ability is active. (7-8 sec) Lee then attacks, swinging his key blade in a circular motion parallel to the front of his body, completing a 180. Is double will imitate him in real time, also completing a 180 with his KeyBlade. Anything within range of his Key Blade will be effected, once this is executed, his clone dissipates.
Defense: Reflect

Movement: Dodge Roll, Quick Run
Support:Storm Bringer: Every time Lee destroys an enemy, the white on his Key Blade slowly become red, from the bottom, to the top, which means it is full. Depending on the size of the enemy, the more or less Storm stacks he gets. One it is full, his attack realest shock waves for a few seconds.
Radiant Storm: Clenses him of all debuffs. Only can be used in battle once.
Magic: Blizzard, Magnega
Limit Breaks: Cyclone: Lee creates 2 transparent Clones that he can guide and direct. One in his desired position, he activates them and they all use Mirrored storm, but they all do a 1800. They move from there original positions when they spin, once they finish spinning, the move is finished.

Actually no, I'm a get rid of an ability now. I guess that said stories would not be assumed to be fake, but a boy single-handedly killing of 1000 heartless with no witness would sound like a stretch to normal people.

Hmm... Ran into a bit of a hurdle with the history section of my sheet. Is it alright to have my character come from some random, unnamed world? Or just have his world lost to darkness so he can be from Traverse Town? (Or just be from Traverse Town entirely?)

It's just kinda hard to imagine the face claim I nabbed fitting into any of the three non-Disney worlds, and I'd rather not try to shoehorn them in from a Disney world so...

Appearance

He doesn’t carry knives on his person, I just didn’t feel like editing them out. He’s also pretty short for his age and clocks in at 5’3’’.

Personality

Alan is an adventurous and curious kid that wants to see more beyond his own world. He’s also something of a bookworm; he grew up on stories of heroic heroes and other worlds which helped shape his sense of justice and curiosity. His sense of adventure is tempered by his own serious demeanor however, so he knows not to let himself get too carried away. He’s not adverse to fun though, he knows when to lighten up, but he prefers to treat things with the seriousness they deserve.

History

Alan was born and raised in a world of eternal winter. It’s not constantly snowing, but snow is a definite constant throughout it. Alan grew up on tales of might and magic and heroes and justice in the city he was from. When he was 13, he decided he wanted to be like the heroes he grew up on so much that he sought apprenticeship under a local wizard. It took plenty of goading and chore-running before the wizard caved in and took him on as a student. From there, he took his training and studies very seriously. He would understand the material well, but when it came to putting it to practice, he’d often fall short of performing correctly. Even to this day, he still has trouble applying what he has learned in practice.
