Enna stilled and felt her body relax slightly, Jason and James uncurling and moving towards the table, their heads resting on it as they watch, James hisses softly and directs a thought to Adrian, his eyes closing as his stomach gives a soft rumble.

Light isn't supposed to harm, it's a power meant to heal and soothe. The fact that she purposely used her power to bind and injure her in my opinion was for a reason. Left on their own the wounds would continue to bleed, causing Enna's weakened body to attempt to heal wounds it's incapable of healing. Her body's trying, but can't even start since she hasn't fully healed from the other attack. The wounds will open once more before finally allowing Enna to heal, her small form will melt away and she'll be a normal sized wolf once more. She did it in the case that we'd run, she would be so weak to move they would of caught her and...punished her for losing control. She'll need food after this, we all do. We can't stay here long, earlier I caught their scent a few yards back. Their still tracking us. James stated softly, sighing through his nose and rising to his feet, he sat once more when he reached the window and peered outside.

The storm is helping us for the moment but we do need to move. What do you suggest? Jason asks, his ears twitching as he hears Enna's soft sigh, his eyes shift to Adrian and lock, his tail flicking from side to side as ideas fill his mind. @SomeoneSomewere

His ears twitched as James began to speak to him, eyes narrowing slightly. His claws dug over and over into the carpet, his shoulders tensing in anger, he glared off into space, his nose flared and breathing heavily through his nose. He desperately wanted to rip her apart, piece by piece. He growled softly, his lips pulling back slightly over his teeth.

He then let out a sharp nod, snorting softly. He leaned his head forward, nuzzling Enna softly. He then stepped back, a shutter running through his body, grimacing as his bones shifted and reformed as he turned himself back into his human form. He set his hands down on the ground, breathing heavily. It took a lot of work and effort to shift then. Grinding his teeth together, he slowly rose to his feet.

He said," I don't know where we could go, this is the only place I really know of. I'll make us food, anything that you all want?" He tapped his fingers rapidly against his thigh, trying to get out some excess energy out. He was still highly on edge and angry. @Arista

James and Jason flicked their eyes in unison before shifting in one fluid movement, Jason reaching for Enna before sitting down on the carpet once more, the trembling in his hands stilling slightly as he fingers in her fur.

"Anything is fine, we have to get En to eat though. We'll stay here as long as it's fine with the healer, if we catch their scent again we need to move, we have a friend that can help." James offers softly, his arms crossing across his chest as he states out the window, his nose twitching every now and then as he scents the air. Enna sighs and curls into a tighter ball, her fur drying slowly with aid from the heat filling the air, her mind slipping into sleep as a clap of thubder steaks through the sky. @SomeoneSomewere

He nodded slightly, dragging his hand through his hair. He said," alright, I'll probably make us some beef, maybe hamburgers for us." He walked away after one last look at Enna, disappearing into the kitchen. He opened the fridge with shaking hands, getting out the ground beef. He then grabbed a pan, just as the women entered. He set the pan on the stove to warm up, shaping it into paddies. He would tear up Enna's, so she could eat it in this form.

She began talking, looking softly at the boy that became more of a son to her," Adrian, I think we need to have a talk about what is going on around here." He sighed softly, placing his hands down on the counter as he watched the meat cook. He then began to speak, sneering in anger," the headmaster tried to kill Enna, the pup you've been healing." His back tensed, his fingers pressed harder again the counter as he snarled," Enna didn't do anything to her, yet she tried to kill her!" He breathes heavily through his nose, the fire on the stove flaring with his anger.

She quickly stepped closer, wrapping her hand gently around his arm, turning him to face her," Don't get yourself worked up, I don't want a rampaging Adrian blazing through my house." She reached up with a small sigh, her wrinkled hand gently stroking his cheek," I haven't seen you care about someone so deeply. I have no doubt that you won't let anything more happen to her."

He jerked away with a growl, scowling down at the ground," this might not have happened if I just stayed with her! I could have protected her, I could have- Argh!" He spun, his hand breaking through the wall, small flames flickering around his arm. He jerked his hand back out, his breathing ragged, blood slowly dropping into the ground from his split knuckles.

She snapped, a fierce look in her eyes," Adrian Blackfire! You will sit you ass down on the ground this instant!" Adrian slowly lowered himself to the floor, glowering down at the floor. She then spoke, her voice softening," this is not your fault Adrian. Stop blaming yourself for everything, it is not your fault. She is safe now isn't she?" @Arista

Enna's small form tensed, her breathing stilling in her lungs as a strange sensarion creeps along her spine. James and Jason tense and as one turn to the front door, Jason's hand stilling in his friends fur as a knock fills the air. A strange high-whine escapes from Enna's muzzle as the feeling seems to creep up and wrap around her.

Her eyes snap open and the whine turns into a snarl, her fur bristling as her eyes scan the room, her small body shaking as another knock fills the air. A streak of lightning flashes through the sky sends her lunging forward, the light tendrils slithering into the room from under the door.

"Little wolf...I know you're in there...come out and play" Enna stilled and watched as the tendrils slowly made their way towards her. Her eyes flicking from side to side as a small whimper escapes, both twins move forward and create a barrier of violet flames.

"Relax En, their just searching. The voice? May be hers but her scent isn't in the air, we can't let them touch any of us however so stay behind us." James soothes, Enna lowers herself into her belly and slowly calms.

"Ma'am? If you don't mind postponing your scolding? Would you mind going to the door and gesturing to this fox to sit on the top step? It'll help to keep other...scouts from finding this place." Jason offers as a wave of his hands forms the small violet-flamed fox, Enna's ears perk as it yips softly and heads for the door, the tendrils fading into nothing as it slowly draws closer to the front of the house. A continously violet pulse comes from its body as it sits on its haunches and waits, the twins drop the barrier and take their original position. @SomeoneSomewere

His head snapped to the door of the kitchen, feeling it as well. He drew his lips back, a low growl forming, and he rose to his feet. She entered back into the living room, looking at the door. She frowned, watching the light crawl it's way closer to the group. She frowned more, confused by the action, shuttering as the voice filled the air. Creepy.

Another low snarl escaped from Adrian, his eyes narrowing dangerously. He still didn't relax as James gently explained. What if they came during their sleep? Would they have woken up in time? He eyed the wall of flames, watching it before turning back to the tendrils.

She looked at Jason before nodding to his instructions," alright, I can do that." She walked to the door, gazing curiously at the fox, before doing what was asked of her. Once that was done, she walked back inside, looking at Adrian again," your food is going to burn. And don't you dare put another hole in my wall again, I've had to fix too many spots that you've punched through already." With a sigh and a scowl, he returned to the stove, checking briefly to make sure the food is cooked. He took some hamburger buns, placing them down and putting the patties onto it, leaving one out. Once that was done, he grabbed plates, putting the last onto it and pulling the meat apart into bite sized pieces. He walked back out, carefully balancing the plates on his arms, walking over to the table, carefully setting the plates down. @Arista

The twins took their own as another streak of lightning flashes through the sky, Enna remains on the floor, James and Jason focusing on the window as they slowly eat their food. The rest of the tendrils slithering away into the trees as rain continues to pelt the earth.

"We take shifts, I don't trust the witch as far as I can toss a fireball, Adrian I'd suggest you take a second watch. I'll take the first. James the third." Enna rose to her feet and hesitantly moved towards the table once more, her muscles tense and tail twitching as she sniffs the air.

What did I do? Why aren't I...in my room...? She asks hesitantly, her voice high and scared as she sits on her hunches and nervously sways her tail from side to side. Her eyes scanning the room as if trying to figure out wh the room was so big, her eyes focused on the two twins before shifting to the male that smelled of meat, then to the woman that stood by the kitchen doorway. Her head tilted to the side as she waits for a response.

Both twins paused, their eyes widening as the question filtered across their minds, the realization hits them full force.

"She doesn't remember...her memories are of her current age. Her Grandmother was killed when she was eight and she was found a few days later according to her file so she was kept in a 'room' -which was a cell- until she lost control and froze everything..." they whisper in unison, the room filling in silence, their food forgotten as they watch Enna twitch, their stomachs rolling.

She'd been kept in her 'room' until she lost control, she was ten at the time. They swallow the mixture of bile and anger that fills them. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian nodded in agreement at the suggestion of taking shifts, taping his fingers rapidly against his leg, scowling darkly. He then spoke," sounds good to me." He grabbed Enna's plate off of the table, freezing at the sound of her thought running through his head. His hand tightened on the plate as his anger flared again, his jaw clenched tightly. His anger further worsened as the two explained quietly what was happening.

His grip tightened again, the plate shattering in his grip. He growled at it in frustration," shit." He grabbed pieces of meat that fell, setting them down on his own plate. He glared angrily at the broken parts of the plate on his lap and on the floor, the broken plate drawing a sigh from the women.

His breathing was ragged, staring down at his lap. Small flames flickered over his hands, clenched into fists. He was struggling, he felt the ache in his bones, making him want to shift and tear the source of his anger apart. How could a person be so evil as to lock a young girl into a cage and torture her! He snarled softly, his body shaking. @Arista

Enna stilled and watched as flames erupted before vanishing around the male, her head tilting before the acidic spike of anger filled the air, she knew she had to stay still but fire hurt. She backed away slowly, her wars pinning down and tail lowering as continues backwards, pausing only for a moment to glance back at the object that her back connected to, lowering onto her belly she slides under the couch and stills. Her eyes frantically scanning as she watches the shift happening just below his skin, her claws gently knead the wooden floor as she waits for the blows that normall followed.

She was a monster, a beast that deserved to be caged and punished.

Her fur bristled slightly as a mixture of fear and anger filled her stomach, her eyes clouding as memories filtered across her mind, her small body going statue-still. Jason and James shifted on instinct, rolling onto their belly's and staying still, their ears and eyes listening to their sister's intake of breath and slow, cautious retreat. @SomeoneSomewere

His breathing was hard and ragged, his hands clenching and unclenching. The muscles in his jaws were ticking, still restraining the beast inside of him. He felt a presence beside him, noticing the women had moved between him and where Enna was last. She gently grabbed onto his forearm, grabbing his chin and forcing him to look at her.

She spoke, her voice soft but with a hard edge to it," Adrian, you need to calm down. I understand that you are angry, but you are scaring her. You either need to leave the room, or calm yourself down. You obviously care about her, can't you smell her fear?" He looked towards her, his heart breaking at the sight of her cowering underneath the sofa. He stood up, breaking the women's hold, walking over to the window and gripping onto the window sill, his arms shaking. He growled softly," how could someone do such a thing, locking an innocent little girl up in a cage and beating her?" He rested his forehead on the window, taking a deep breath, his fingertips pressing hard on the wood. @Arista

Enna remained still and blinked her eyes. Her ears flicking forward before flattening against her skull, her snout testing the air as the acidic smell of anger and confusion continue to come from the boy who now had a name -Adrian-.

"According to her file- the sick leech recorded all of Enna's 'sessions' with such detail it gave us nightmares for a month." James began softly, anger hidden under his soft statement, he remained sitting, his hands clenched in his lap.

"She'd switch from...punishments to 'testing her tolerance to something that harms her so she becomes immune to it' that plan never took dorm. Werewolves can't build a tolerance for wolfsbane, they can build a slight immunity to it but can never fully ignore it's effects. She listed the symptoms and kept doing it even when she was begging it to stop, she wanted to 'raise a good, tough daughter, she never had one and took Enna under her wing to 'guide' her. Truth be told, she was trying to break the youngest, most powerful Were that's been born since the war. She never gave in though, and now Adrian you need to try to gain her trust, she's been unconscious since we arrived and has no shown the signs, now she will." Jason explained softly, his eyes Bruning a hole into the wall his gaze was focused on, his fingers testing absently in his lap.

"We...have the file if you'd wish to see what they are..." Jason offered hesitantly, his eyes on the carpet, the rain continuing it's assault. Enna curls into a tighter ball and burrows her snout into her fur. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian grimaced, pressing his head harder against the cool glass in front of him. The drastic temperature difference helped him reign his anger back in, one slow step at a time. As Jason began to explain, he just got more angry, his arms shaking. Small wisps of smoke came out from around his fingers, not that he actually noticed it. He took deep breaths, using several tactics he has heard over the year.

He then spoke, his voice strained and quiet," I can't look. At it now. I might blow up the house if I do start reading it. I'm currently stopping myself from ripping out of the door and finding the headmistress and ripping her slowly apart. Make her suffer and small fraction of what Enna has." With another deep breath, he lifted himself away from the window, prying his fingers away from the scorched wood he was gripping onto. He ran his hand through his hair, tugging at it as he does so. He slowly managed to surpress his raging anger, it settling down underneath, the anger still there, but forcing himself to smother it underneath his worry and care for Enna.

With another deep breath, he turned, walking slowly in Enna's direction, before moving and laying himself down flat on his stomach, chin rested on his arms. He gave her a fair bit of distance to still feel safe. He spoke, his voice taking on a different tone," don't be scared Enna, you are safe here. I'm sorry about my anger, I was upset at the women who hurt you. We won't let her ever get to you again, and you will be safe." @Arista

Enna's ears flicked forward at the words, her head tilting as much as it can in the small, cramped space she'd managed to push herself into, confusion caused her to blink.

'Woman that hurt me?'....no one's hurt me She states softly, slowly making her way out from under the couch, pausing just before more then her twitching snout and front paws were visible. Her eyes blinked slowly as dull spikes of pain began to spread across her back, the faint smell of burnt wolfsbane filling her nostrils, her ears flattening instinctively against her skull.

The fox's warning calls filled the air just then, James and Jason's heads whipped around towards the door and they rose in one fluid movement, human forms fading to be replaced by their panther form.

This smell... Jason snarled out, his tail flicking from side to side as he reaches the door and rises on his hind legs, front paws easily turning the knob.

We'll check the perimeter, Adrian try to get her out from under there and close to you, right now the smell will only trigger bad memories that she much less any of us what h remembering. Jason. James nudged his brother before leaping into the pouring rain, Jason followed after a quick glance back at Enna's hiding place before following.

Enna stilled, her lips unconsciously pulled back to reveal her small, pointed teeth. This smell was bad...pain always mixed with it, a low warning growl escaped her muzzle as the present scene began to shift and morph before her eyes. @SomeoneSomewere

He sighed as she denied that she had been hurt by the headmistress. He took a deep breath, calming himself again. He felt his skin prickling as a scent washed over him. He didn't recognize it really, but he knew he disliked it. Then the fox's howls hit his ear, and he sat up, narrowing his eyes. A small growl escaped him, looking around.

He nodded in understanding about what Jason said, and he swallowed, lowering himself down back to the laying position he was in previously. He said," hey... Hey Enna, it's okay. Come here, I'll protect you." He stretched out his hand to her, his eyes soft, pleading. He didn't want her to travel down that road." @Arista

She remained still for a moment, her clouded eyes blinking slowly as her ears absently twitch forward and back. Moving forward slowly and sniffing the hand held out for her, she hesitantly licks his palm before sitting on her haunches, the memories fading as the smell of wolfsbane fills her nose and has her snarling softly.

She didn't want to feel pain...not right now...

Shifting until her snout was touching the boys arm, she takes a deep breath and finds herself relaxing, her bristled fur settling once more. @SomeoneSomewere

With a deep breath, he relaxed softly, feeling her cold nose pressing against his arm. He watched her as she visibly relax. He then spoke, his voice soft," the closer you come to me the less you will smell it. You won't get hurt by me, and I won't let anything hurt you."

He turned his hand, gently brushing his fingers through her fur softly. He seemed to relax, just by the simple movement of his fingers. He would never be completely relaxed until he knew that she was safe from any harm. @Arista

Enna allows a chuff to escape as she slowly, cautiously moves forward. Her ears flicking forward at the soft sounds of the twins footsteps caught her attention for a moment, their soft sniffs filtering within the sounds of the rain and soft near silent thumps of their paws against the moist ground.

She stills when the feel of long fingers took over the feel of Adrian's warm ones, the floral scent filling her nose has her instinctively bolting into the boy's lap, her small form trembling as she tries to focus on the warm fingers that caress her fur. @SomeoneSomewere

A sound of relief escaped him as she bolted to him. He smelled the new scent, his body tensing, eyes narrowed as he looked around. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her closely to him. He stroked her fur, running his fingers through her fur gently. He then thought to the twins, Would it be alright if I head upstairs with her? Would allow for greater preparation time if something did happen. He looked around, tensed up still, ready for anything to happen. He could feel inside of him his sabertooth was ready to shift on an instant. He managed to surpress his anger, but he would need to release it at some point. @Arista

The twins paused and sniffed the air, their fur bristling as the new scent mixes with the ones around them, Jason snarls and turns back, heading towards the house, tail low and ears pinned to his skull. James snarls and continues to move forward, paws silent as he begins to stalk towards the new scent, his ears perking up as the through breezed over his fur before flattening once more against his skull.

Yes, she may be restless for a bit with this new scent, the wolfsbane has gone from the air for now at least. Keep her close and try to soothe her, also a bath may help. She still has blood on her fur. James whispers softly, his attention focusing on the scent he now follows, he wasn't going to let anyone near, Jason was guarding the house, he'd scout the forest.

Enna shivers and sniffs the air, her eyes scanning the room as if searching for a way out of necessary. A soft whine escapes her muzzle when she catches the faint cooper smell clinging to her fur, she shifts and begins to rub her nose against the patches. She stops and nudges her nose against the boy's arm, reaching up on her hind legs to nudge at his neck. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian paused slightly, zoning out for a second as the thought from James. He then nodded, despite the fact he couldn't be seen, and then sent a thought confirming what was said. He looked down at Enna again, just in time to see her nudging at one of the many patches of blood on her. He would definitely wash her off. He smiled as she nudged his arm, brushing his hand over her as she raised herself up into her hind legs.

He gently wrapped his arms around her, supporting her weight, before speaking," hey.. I'm gonna take you upstairs, it will be safer there, and we can get the blood out of you fur aswell." He moved to a position that he could stand up, rising up to his feet. He held her tightly yet gently against his chest, supporting her weight in his arms. He turned his head, gently kissing her head softly. He couldn't help the action, despite the fact that the current young Enna might be confused by the movement. @Arista
