Both twitched their ears, glancing at one another before taking off at a run.

No were done, we can head back now, she won't be able to cast anything for awhile they offered in unison as they slow and trot forward, their tense muscles relaxing when they spit Adrian and Enna a few feet away. They sit and stretch, yawning as sleep tugs at them once more.

Enna yawns and happily rolls onto her stomach, her eyes closing as sleep tugs at her mind, her tail wagging slowly as she bathes in the moonlight bathing the land. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian nodded, looking over at the twins as they approached. He slowly laid down beside Enna, taking in a deep breath. He dug his claws into the ground, tearing it up as he struggled to release his pent up energy in a calm fashion. He adjusted his position so he was leaning against Enna slightly, turning his head to press his face against her neck. He closed his eyes, happy to have her back to her normal size. He lifted his head, stretching out his paws, long claws flashing in the moonlight.

He then heaved his body off of the ground, walking over to the nearest tree. He reared up on his hind legs, stretching himself way out and his claws digging into the wood. He then raked his claws downward, leaving long gouges in the tree. He was sharpening his claws using this process, and letting out some of his energy in the process. @Arista

Enna rolled onto her belly and stretched, her crimson eyes fading to ice-blue once more, her tail beginning to wag faster as she catches the scent of her 'brothers' just a few feet away. She rose to her feet and shook out her body, a bark escaping as she begins to chase her tail, happy affection filling the air as she feels both make their way forward.

Jason slams into her gently and purrs con happiness when Enna rubs her head against his neck, he rises to his feet and begins to instinctively scent mark her, James following his lead. Enna sits and allows them to do it. Truth be told, she needed this as much as they needed the comfort of their combined scent, her eyes opened and a low whine escaped her as she watches Adrian continue to scratch the tree. All four needed the comfort. @SomeoneSomewere

He took a deep breath, his ears twitching at the sounds of the twins and Enna. He pulled back, dropping heavily to his feet. He shook out his fur, lifting his head up to the sky. He hoped everything would be well, but would they be able to get to safety? Will they forever be looking over their shoulders in fear that she would show up?

He gazed down at the ground, closing his eyes tightly. The only way would be to kill her. It is the only way they would last. He drew his lips back over his teeth, accepting the challenge that he gave himself. He would kill her, rid her from haunting their lives. If only they could go now, catch her while she is tired from having spawned so many animals. His body quivered in anger, and be forced himself to take a deep breath, blocking out the thought of everything that might have happened to her. He didn't want to go on a rampage, especially since he was already in his most dangerous form. @Arista

Enna nipped both on their ears and turned towards Adrian, her tail thumping under their chins as she passed, she stands beside him and pauses for a moment. The air now had the acidic tint of anger to it and she wasn't going to allow the emotion to dampen the slowly relaxing mood that came from Jason and James. She huffed softly and allowed her instincts to take over, a low, calming purr beginning in the center of her chest, her paws silently guiding her around her friend. Her snout nuzzling his neck as she slowly begins to circle him, her tail wrapping around his neck before falling and trailing after across his fur as she continues.

She couldn't read his mind, however she knew the only option they had left, killing her would allow them peace.

We'll think of something Ad...but we need to sleep and we can think in the morning. If you'd like we can head back to the house and you can relate some of your power. I just...I don't want you overthinking or doing something rash while controlled by your anger. Your important to me and I don't want to think of anything happening to you while I'm here and am willing to listen and help to the best of my ability. I'm sorry for causing so much...sometimes I wish she'd...or I could... She allowed her voice to fade as she completed her circle, her snout pressed against Adrian's neck, her ears pinned to her head as she waits. Adrian's ears twitched slightly as he heard footsteps approaching him. He turned his head slightly, catching the sight of the fur of her wolf. He lowered his head slightly, knowing that she would be able to know that he was angry. He kept his gaze on the ground in front of his paws. He felt her move, his ears twitching at the sound of the purr. He lifted his head as she slowly began to circle around him. He pressed his head gently against her, taking in her scent. She could relax him, like no one ever could.

His ears twitch as she spoke, staying quiet until the end of what she said, not wanting to interrupt her. He slowly relaxed, feeling his fur flattening completely down, until the end. When she started to try to apologize. He shook his head with a grunt, turning to face her now. He took a step, rubbing his cheek against hers then down her neck, before returning back to gently press his forehead against hers.

Do not apologize. You have not caused anything, you have done nothing wrong. I don't want you apologizing for her behavior, her behavior is disgusting, evil, and cruel, and even inhuman. To think that a person could even consider.. He went quiet, feeling his muscles start to shake with his anger, his fur slowly rising back up again. He took some deep breaths again, taking in her scent, his eyes closed tightly. Once he felt that he was calm enough to continue, he did so.

You are important to me aswell, very much so. You are the only person I've been able to completely trust and get close to. It scares me, the thought of losing you. It's... Very upsetting to me, thinking of everything that is happened to you, and I want to protect you from anything that happened again. A low whine began to seep into his words and yet, she has still managed to get to you, and hurt you, and I wasn't able to protect you. I left you, when I should have stayed and helped you.

Enna presses her snout deeper into his neck and takes a deep, slow breath. Her hackles lowering as she pushes away the lingering self-hatred that sprung up at his words.

I was warned from an early age that I would be hunted and used if someone managed to catch me. I never paid any mind, until Grandmother sat me down and explained exactly what I was and what would happen if I were to lose control. "You're different dear and that means that people will seek you and attempt to experiment on you. The fact that you're a wolf and have control over ice will have people searching for you, your powerful and they may want to break you in order to use your peer and destroy the fragile peace we have. You must stay strong and keep fighting even if you get caught, never give in and follow your instincts." I was six at the time and didn't fully understand. It wasn't until the attack that I realized the world wasn't as peaceful as it seemed. After I left the orphanage I thought things would settle -instead they took a turn and left me alone.

I-I don't remember much from that time but I do remember...Ad, she told me once, she was wasted and she didn't 'punish' me that night so I wasn't in so much pain. She giggled and told m3 that my Grandmother had warned her to stay away when she visited once and wouldn't stop sneaking touches to my arms whenever she could. Aparently it was 'offensive and rude' and she merely flicked her wrist and a pair of Anima appeared and went to our home. She killed my Grandmother and didn't even feel sorry about it. I remember shutting down after that, I think I lost control and was released after, the collar's been on since then I believe. I was the reason for her death and I instinctively locked everything away. I met these two during the summer and found my world slowly beginning to brighten again, then I met you and it just...exploded with light. I asked you to leave, what happened was my fault and I swear I'll get her back for it.

She finished and lowered her head, her tail stilling and wrapping around her haunches. Shame and a mixture of exhaustion were battling inside her and she didn't want to talk anymore, she didn't want to remember the time in her cell. She sometimes dreamt of it, the clarity and vividness of it sometimes causing her to shift and curl into a ball that she'd remain in until the images faded from behind her eyelids.

Her body began to twitch and she wrapped her body around his, her snout running down from his neck to his chin and back in restless, kerning movements. She wanted to be back in the house now, right now with his comforting scent filling her nose. A low whine escaped as a breeze filtered around them. @SomeoneSomewere

His breathing grew harder as she spoke, his own hackles rising as she spoke. He could feel the low grumble forming in his chest, but he swallowed it, feeling his muscles quivering. There was something wrong with the headmistress. Killing her grandmother and then torturing her, trying to get her to break and to bend to her will afterwards. His claws dug into the ground, also copying Enna and keeping his nose pressed into her neck, letting her scent and the knowledge that she was safe for now washing over him. He would definitely need to let off some steam, or he would never get to sleep tonight.

He could tell she was done talking, and could smell the shame she was feeling. He hated making her feel like that, it was the opposite of his intention. He instead tried to sent soothing reassurances her way, lowering his head down to rub along her neck and back. He nuzzled her softly, sending her a thought once again It's not your fault, it was never your fault. Let's head back to the house. He rubbed against her softly, and gentle purr beginning in his chest. He gently licked her head, wishing to get her to relax. @Arista

She moved away and slowly began oh easing toward the house, her head lowered and ears swiveling back and forth as if hearing for sounds. James and Jason rose and followed, pausing for a moment to flick their tails in unison before taking off.

I think it best she sleep in your room if that's okay, she's back but might have nightmares. Just a thought though. Jason offered softly, easily catching up to Enna and nudging her head up with his own. James huffed lightly and nudged his brother away.

It was time for bed and Enna was going to sleep on the floor, she didn't deserve to sleep near Adrian right now. Not while she had the mantra 'filth, monster, freak' running thorough her mind. Sleeping alone would be fine. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian watched her leave, his head hanging slightly. His ears were back slightly, feeling that he had made her feel even worse. His ears twitched slightly, and he nodded in response to what James said. His paws brushed over the group, trailing slowly after the group. His eyes were on Enna, his eyes soft and full of worry. He held back the soft whines that wanted to escape from his chest. @Arista

Enna focused on keeping her eyes open, the sudden wave of exhaustion that hit her nearly sending her on her side, a jaw-craking yawn broke her muddled train of thought, the faint smell of rain filling the quiet around their group.

She wanted...no, she promised herself as much as the twins that she wouldn't do that again. However the faint itch of the healed over scars sending a faint twist of pain up her spine, her body shivered and she forced her mind to keep in the present. Her paws easily guiding her forward as her eyes scanned the thinning forest as they made their way towards a home in a small clearing. She wanted to sleep, and sleep for a long while. @SomeoneSomewere

He watched Enna quietly still, a low rumble escaping his chest. He slowly walked faster, moving to be beside her but slightly behind. He gently let his head brush over her back and side, nuzzling her softly. He couldn't help but be worried, once again still blaming himself for how she was feeling. As they approached the house, he reared up, opening the door with his paws before entering inside. He shook out his fur, looking around slowly. It was still very quiet in the house. He wouldn't be surprised if she was still asleep. As he approached the stairs, he stopped, turning to face Enna. He thought to her, his voice soft, Would you like to come upstairs to my room? He had hope in his eyes, worry still flittering about underneath. @Arista

Enna took a moment to think, having allowed him to pass her and shaking out her fur a few moments then he had, her ears swiveled around as Jason and James step up to either side of her.

Go up and sleep for a full night En, don't think of denying his request and sleeping on the floor like we know you'd like to do. the spoke in unison, matching aymthest eyes narrowing as Enna blinks and rolls her shoulders. She'd been thinking of doing just that -she didn't deserve to sleep in comfort a seeing as all of this was her fault- but looming into the sabertooth that waited before her she allowed her gaze to shift away and her head to tilt, exposing her neck as a show of submission.

If that's...alright... she allowed her voice to trail off, the faint feeling of self-hatred boiling just under her skin had her hackles bristling before she remembered to keep her head down and try to make Adrian relax. She didn't want to lose control and hurt someone but she felt...guilty and like she brought them pain when all they wanted was normal lives.

Maybe she should of let- her head shook sharply and she ignored the quiet thought, her eyes falling on her friend as another wave of exhaustion washed over her. She just wanted to shut her brain off and catalog what she'd experienced briefly as a pup and what she know knew. She wanted to feel safe and protected jnstead of being on alert, she huffed softy and waited for him to speak.

His scent always seemed to calm her, and that was what she needed right now. Later they could plan and see what to do about their problem. @SomeoneSomewere

A look of faint relief formed on his stance, some of the tension in his body melting away. He stepped closer, running his head against her head and neck, before pulling away, softly licking her cheek. At this same time he gently brought his snout under her head, trying to get her to lift it up. He despised seeing her upset. Lets go then.

With a brief nod at the twins in thanks, he began his way up the stairs, turning to his bedroom. He walked inside, looking around briefly. He paused once inside, looking back for Enna. His claws softly kneaded the carpet. Instinct led to this behavior, it was rather calming to him. He took a deep breath, his tail flicking slightly. @Arista

Enna lifted her head and watched as Adrian went up, twisting her head and nuzzling both twins in turn before they did the same. Flicking her tail when they separated and went to the couch, Enna quietly and easily walked up the stairs and sniffed the air. Following her friends scent was easy enough, she found his room and paused before entering, her tense muscles relaxing as a wave of his scent hit her nose. He smelled of burned wood and a mix or ash to her, the twins said his scent to them was a mixture between autumn leaves and rain water. Shaking her head, she smiled as best she could and stepped inside the doorway, her mood lifting further as she stops beside him, her snout nuzzling into his neck and breathing deeply.

Her tail began to wag absently, her eyes heavy as she feels the tug of sleep filter across her mind. A soft purr begins to vibrate through her throat, her muscles nearly turning to jelly as she tries to fight off sleep. She could feel the faint, weak wave her ice tried to give before it faded to nothing. She'd need to practice to get her wayward power under control, having lost control and turned into a pup to heal hadn't helped. A sharp intake of breath had her eyes snapping open as pain ripped through her body, her paws giving out from under her as the wounds dealt to her open for the final time. A whine escapes as she tries to rise, to fight the sudden lack or air in her throat, her eyes wide and frantically scan the room. She hadn't done anything bad...why did it hurt? Another half-whine escapes as she tries to still the erratic beating of her heart. @SomeoneSomewere

He purred softly in happiness, turning his head to rub against her own as she pressed into his neck. He gently licked her cheek, purring softly still. He could almost feel her exhaustion radiating off of her body, but it was plenty clear in her body language. He felt the brief chill of her bodies attempt to use her power. He was just about to suggest they go to sleep, only for her crumple to the ground. He whined, almost instantly crouching down beside her. He licked gently at the wounds.

You're ok Enna, just stay down. It's safe, nothing bad is happening. Your wounds have just opened again for the third and final time. He moved to lick her cheek, gently purring softly at her, trying to calm her down. He buried the anger that is trying to rise from him, at the person who is causing her this pain. He nuzzled her, licking once again at the various wounds dotting her body. @Arista

Enna swallowed and tried to relax her body, she could already feel the warmth from her healing start to spread, but from what she'd read, it wouldn't do much right now. She inhaled deeply and lifted her head, her tongue darting out to lick Adrian's cheek, her body tensing as another wave of pain washed over her body. It was strange, she thought slowly, having the ability to heal almost instantly from any wound and suddenly not being able to was different.

Light can hurt just as much as it can heal... she thought softly as her eyes closed, her muscles relaxing as she allowed Asrian to clean her wounds, sleep sounded good right now. A slow, long breath escaped her snout as she eagerly and gladly accepts her friends care and worry. The smell of copper had hee nose wrinkling in distaste, she could feel it, clinging to her fur and she tried to lift her head once more, she didn't want her own blood in her fur. She winced and lowered her head when another spike of pain washed through her. Maybe it's best to leave it for now. @SomeoneSomewere

He could see her winces, every time pain spiked through her body. He continued cleaning, trying to keep her fur free of blood. He wasn't succeeding too much. He didn't know what to do. He could do his version of getting someone to stop bleeding, but with this many wounds he didn't feel it would be a good idea to cauterize all of them. He turned his head, gently pressing his nose against her cheek before licking it.

He could always go and wake up the women, also known as Sarah, but she was old and tired and had already used a lot of her energy for the previous two times. His nearly invisible eyebrows were furrowed, licking at the wounds again, wanting them to stop bleeding. @Arista

Enna purred softly and allowed her heavy eyes to close, the faint pulse of ice settled over the wounds before fading. Her tense muscles relaxing as a long exhale escapes her snout.

Can I sleep Ad?... she asks softly, her ears lowering against her skull, her heart slowing as her breathing deepens, sleep easily taking her. The wounds pause for a moment before beginning once more, only to stop again. Enna's tail twitches weakly as her healing starts and her eyes twitch behind her closed lids, she needed to stay awake right? Why did everything smell of blood? @SomeoneSomewere

He shook his head slightly, Not yet, let's get you cleaned off first. You won't be able to sleep well with the blood. He was glad her healing abilities were kicking in, stopping her from bleeding anymore. He changed his position, carefully trying to get his head underneath her so he could get her up onto his back. @Arista
