Enna shook her head and began to move, her attention solely focused on the cougar as she rose to her feet and began to stalk forward. Challenges allowed no power to be used, it was physical strength that was being tested, snarling softly as the cougar's tail brushed against her chin, Enna spun and clamped down. The yowl and claws aimed for her were dodged as she yanks harder and begins to roll her head. Truth be told, Enna was tired and wouldn't last long as it was, jumping back when a set of claws and teeth dug into her side, Enna bared her teeth and began to pace. Her wounds instantly healing as they continue to circle one another.

Lunging forward they meet head on, claws digging into flesh, teeth nipping and tearing fur away from skin, heads colliding with such force it blackens their vision for a few seconds, the sound of thunder and rain filling the silence, rolling when the girl lunges, Enna manages to clamp her jaws on the tender underside of her belly and pull. A yelp escaping when a similar wound was inflicted on her on skin. Both pulled away and took great lungfulls of breath, the smell of blood filling the air as both watch one another. The boy moves forward and places a hand on the cougar's shoulder, his face pale and calm. They both turned and began to move out of the Dining Hall, Enna buffs and sits on her haunches, her head spinning slightly. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian watched the fight, the low rumble continuing in his chest. His lips drew back at the last wound dealt by each other, as the boy approached. He stepped forward, snarling after the two, before reaching Enna's side. He gently nuzzled her shoulder, sniffing her fur, small growls continuing to escape from him. His nose flared when his nose reached the last wound, growling softly. His claws dug into the floor, barely restraining himself from taking off after the two.

With a snort, he raised his head to hers, gently nudging the side of her face with his nose. He wanted to make sure she was ok and not about to pass out right here and now. He studied her face, his ears pinned back slightly still. His hackles were raised, everything pointing to his anger. @Arista

Enna gently nuzzled back, her ears flattening when the world spun slightly as she rose to her feet. The wound was healing slowly it seemed, probably due to her power of darkness, she could feel it within her body, she gently nuzzled the side of his neck before beginning to walk towards their destination, the third floor library.

Her power rose weakly into the air, aiming to coat her still bleeding wound on the tender underside of her belly, however it only draws a soft whimper and a shiver from her. She needed to get the to quiet room before she passed out. She didn't need to worry or anger Adrian more then he already was. @SomeoneSomewere

He walked closely text to her, his fur nearly brushing her fur with his proximity to her. He lowered his head slightly again and gently brush his head against her neck, his ears perking up as he listened for anyone around them. He didn't want any more trouble. He wouldn't hesitate to take off the head of the next person that threatened them. He watched her, hoping that she is doing ok, but he couldn't help but notice the scent of blood, and the sight of her wincing slightly as she walked. Who on earth does that person think she is. @Arista

Enna gently licked his cheek before continuing, her visit spinning as they reach the second landing and begin on the third, the smell of books spurring her on. Her breathing was heavier then normal, her body feeling heavier and quiet frankly not like her own. She paused half-way up and lowered her head, her ears twitching in an attempt to see if anyone else was coming, hard to believe it was still early, maybe 9 or so. It felt like a long day already. The sound of the rain pouring outside had her relaxing, she relaxed further with the heat thar surrounded her friend grew closer to her. She was really tired now. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian walked carefully beside her, brushing his head against her side everyonce and a while. He was worried about her, and just wanted her to be ok. When she stopped halfway up the second set of stairs, he stopped beside her. He nuzzled her side, gently licking it. He crouched, the fur on his stomach brushing the ground, gesturing with his head to his back, indicating for her to climb onto him. @Arista

Enna rises to her feet shakily and moves towards him, she places her chin in the center of his spine before hosting herself up, she was now sideways on his back. Her tail flicking his nose as a whinewhine escapes her mouth at the movement, her eyes closing as dizziness washes through her body.

The sound of the end bell causing her to stiffen, the last thing they needed was to be seen by anyone.

Ad...run up the stairs following the scent of books, quickly before the halls fill... she manages to whisper before her power extends and wraps around her body, holding her firm so she doesn't fall. @SomeoneSomewere

He turned his head and nuzzled her side softly as she adjusted herself on his back. His ears twitched, pinning back slightly as the bell went off. He had the same thought as her, not wanting anyone to once again bug theme it was very frustrating. When her voice entered his head, he paused for a second, not wanting to throw her off when he made his way up. But immediately afterwards, he got his answer, feeling her power wrapping around her body, hold her hold. He snorted and nodded, before launching his body up the stairs, quickly racing up them. In no time, he reached the landing, looking back with his ears perked, trying to catch the sound of any followers. @Arista

Enna huffed and flicked his nose once more, her ears twitching as footsteps and voices fill the air, her power forming a sort of mist-barrier around them both. She nuzzled her nose into his neck and felt herself relax fully, her tense muscles turning to near jelly at the warmth thar radiates from his coat.

She wanted to sleep, a yawn snapping her mouth open a few moments later, the smell of copper filling her nose once more as she shifts, a wince causing her to tense once more. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian snorted as her tail flicked his nose, rolling his eyes. Satisfied that no one was chasing after them he walked to the back of the room, wanting to lessen the chance of being seen. He lowered his body down to the ground until he was laying down. He turned his head to face gets, softly nuzzling her cheek. His nose twitched at the scent of her blood, turning his head to look back at the wound. He wished he could do something to stop her from bleeding, but he was limited in this point in time. All he could do is lay with her and protect her for now. @Arista

Enna whimpers softly when she touches the cool wooden floor, her eyes opening slowly before closing once more. The wound was still bleeding, though not so much anymore, it was beginning to heal. Shifting onto her side Enna released a long sigh through her nose, she felt heavy, sleepy and warm from the remaining earth that clung to her fur from Adrian's.

Dismissing her powers, Enna felt the collar around her neck cool, her nose twitching in distaste at the feel of blood coating her fur, she lifted her head and reaching to nuzzle it against Adrian's before she began to once again clean her fur, leaving the still healing wound alone as she begins to clean the dried blood away.

She wouldn't be able to sleep until some of it was gone, her tail flicked once as a question came to mind, lifting her head she focused on her friend and decided after a moment to voice it.

Adrian? How long will you stay shifted? She asked curiously, her head tiling as she wants for his answer, her task momentarily forgotten, she knew her answer, she'd be stuck in her form for two days at least. @SomeoneSomewere

A small smile formed on Adrian's muzzle and he was nuzzled by her. He rested his head down on the floor, his ears still perked up to be able to hear anyone that approaches them. His eyes drifted closed, but he still remained on high alert for anything that approached. He took a deep breath, slowly releasing it in an attempt to completely relax himself.

His ears twitched at the sound of her beginning to lick, understanding the reason behind it immediately. He resented the feeling of blood in his fur as well. When she suddenly silenced, his ears rotated to point at her, curious as to what was going on. When her voice appeared in his head, he quickly understood. He tapped his claws on the floor briefly, considering the answer.

He normally didn't have a set amount of time, it varies for each shift he has and the level of his anger. The more often he gets angry while shifted, the longer he would stay shifted. At least in theory. He was just about to answer, and he opened his mouth, only to realize he couldn't talk. He grumbled slightly, turning his head to look at her, not sure how to communicate to her his answer. @Arista

Enna rolled her eyes fondly and lifted her tail to fall on his back, her ears twitching before falling against her skull. Not many of her kind knew that they could mentally speak with one another, the only reason she found out was because one of the twins had mentally asked if she could help find his brother. She rumbled softly as she thought of a way to phrase it, her tail absently thumping against Adrian's back.

Huffing, Enna moved forward, rising shakily to her feet and paused just before their muzzles met, a soft whine escaping as she lowers her head and rests her forehead against his, her eyes automatically closing.

Relax and just speak as if your human, it gets easier the more you do it, focus on who you want to talk to, it helps she whispers softly, staying still for a moment, selflessly basking in the warmth from where they now touched. She slowly sits on her haunches and relaxes herself when she feels her muscles rooted the strain, she'd move when he'd ask her too. @SomeoneSomewere

He watched her, curious by her movements. He enjoyed the feel of her tail lightly hitting his back, a comforting rythmn to him at least. He watched her move closer to him, blinking in surprise when her muzzle and forehead pressed against his own before closing his eyes, taking a deep breath.

He gently moved and lightly placed his paws on her own paws, liking his proximity to her. He reviewed the instructions inside his mind, eyebrows furrowing. So, talk without actually talking and focus on her. Drawing in another deep breath, he began to try and send her a message. He failed the first few times before reaching success, sending the simple thought of: Hello? Is it working? @Arista

Enna smiled as much as she could in her form and nuzzled his cheek before licking the same cheek she'd just nuzzled. A happy rumble filling her chest, her tail happily wagging against his back.

Yes, think you can answer me now? She asks softly, her eyes opening to focus on her friends unique eye color, her forehead staying where it was.

She was happy and warm, she liked being this close to someone after so long of avoiding contact with anyone. @SomeoneSomewere

A smile of his own formed on his face, gently rubbing the side of his head on her head and neck. A deep sound, akin to a purr of a domestic cat began in his throat, showing his contemptment. His own eyes opened, meeting her eyes before he slowly replied to her. Sure. It varies per each shift, depending on my temper during it, based on how this time has gone, probably a few days. It takes my brain a long time to completely calm down to be able to get back to a point that I can shift. What about you?

He closed his eyes again, ears flicking, happy to simply sit here with her. His short tail flicked, unable to do the wagging motion that Enna was capable of doing. But he assumed other behaviors made up for it. @Arista

Enna allowed her tail to continue with its motion, a jaw cracking yawn interrupting her answer. She wanted to sleep until dinner at least.

My shift depends on a few things, mostly how long of a period of time has passed since my last one. Seeing as I haven't shifted for three months I'll be like this for two days at the least. Hey Ad...can I go to sleep? She asks suddenly, her forehead resting more firmly against her friends as sleep begins to tug on her like a near forcible weight. Another yawn escapes her maw as lightning streaks through the sky. @SomeoneSomewere

He felt her move slightly with her yawn, feeling it stop whatever she was about to say. It caused a low chuckle to escape him, as much as he could chuckle at this point. Once she started to reply, he nodded slightly, listening closely to her. He nodded his head once in confirmation, before answering her next question, Yes, of chourse you can go to sleep. He adjusted his position slightly, his body turned to have his hind legs laying out to his right side. He wanted to be comfortable so when she fell asleep he wouldn't feel the need to move and possibly wake her up. @Arista

Enna lowered herself and made herself comfortable, her tail sliding down Adrian's back as she flips onto her side so her muzzle is resting close to his, her back to his chest
. Her ears twitching once before stilling as hee eyes close.

She could sleep for a day or two at this point. Night, Drian... she managed to whisper before sleep took her.

~Three days later~

Enna sighed and finished the last of her homework, her eyes closing for a moment as she sniffed the air of the secret garden, a smile touching her lips as she waits for Adrian to join her. He'd agreed to meet here before dinner so she could check -finish- his homework for him. He was still shifted and still didn't seem close to changing back, though Enna knew he was close.

She relaxed further and allowed the streams flow to fill her ears, she'd just rest her eyes for a bit....dinner was soon and she'd be the one to go down and bring some food up for the both of them. It was an agreement they'd come to on the second day of Enna's being human again. @SomeoneSomewere

He smiled at the feel of her fur lightly brushing against his chest. He gently moved his head and brushed against the head, before resting his head back down on the ground, settling down and getting comfortable. He let out a reply, nighg, en. He remained awake for the majority of the time, before allowing himself to relax and fall asleep.

Adrian padded down the hallway from his room, lightly holding his homework in his jaws, careful as to not get slobber all over the papers. Nearing the garden, he slowed his pace, ears rotating around and smelling the air, checking for anyone. Content with the fact no one was watching, he walked up to the statue and pressing it down, trotting into the secret garden.

He gazed around the room, quickly noticing Enna. He walked up to her, slightly dropping the homework on the ground once he reached her, before stepping forward and brushing his large head against her arm with a low grumble of happiness.
He then spoke into her mind, Hey En, how is it going? He sat next to her, dragging his homework closer with his paw so it wasn't nearly as far from him. @Arista
