Serena said "we need to learn what happened...and if we are able to cast this god back into his cell..." Yugi suddenly asked "I wonder if the duel monsters of old would know any thing"

Yami looked to from Seto to Serena, hearing her answer to his question. Looking to his partner, when he referred to these Duel monsters of old, he seemed thoughtful of this idea. "Did you have a specific one in mind, Yugi?" He asked him.

Yugi thought then said "maybe dark magician girl? She's helped us before and knows her way around the world of monsters. Maybe she could give us a hint to who to ask?"

[Jazz]

Yami nodded to Yugi's recommendation. "Maybe we can." Yami pulled out his deck and searched through his cards till he found the card he was searching for. Pulling it out. "I say we take this to another room." Yami suggested, standing and moving to the living room. Joey, Duke, and Marik stood, following Yami, understand what room there was that it would be a little crowded if one more appeared, duel monster or not. Seto shrugged before standing up and following the rest. He had nothing better to do.

Yugi and Serena followed him, Adam saying he was going to check the scanners. Serena stood by Yami and said "how do you know this monster personally?"

[Jazz]

Yami had been standing with the card in hand as he saw Serena come over beside him and ask about how she knew the Dark Magician Girl personally. "She was Mahad's apprentice once before he became the Dark Magician. At least, Mana was. Her spirit monster was the Dark Magician Girl. My guess is is that when she past, she became the Dark Magician Girl. Mana was like a childhood friend like Mahad was." The pharaoh explained before looking back to the card. He focused some of his magic into the card to bring it to life, to bring his dear friend to life. See what she knew about all of this.

Serena nodded as the card glowed pink. Yugi smiled and said "I'm excited to see her..." Suddenly Serena's deck glowed as well. She blinked and said "what is going on here..." When Dark Magician Girl appeared, Guardian of the King appeared as well. Serena turned and said "Guardian? What are you doing here?"

Yami watched as the card glowed pink, a color he was too familiar with when it came to the magician. Smiling at his partner's excitement while focusing on the card, he didnt notice Serena's deck reacting but had noticed the Dark Magician Girl's appearance. With the open of Mana's blue eyes, she smiled only then to get bubbly and excited, hugging both Yugi and Yami. "Pharaoh! Yugi! Oh it so good to see you two again!~" She greeted them with such happiness. Yami was got off guard by Mana's sudden embrace of them both no matter how many times she did it even back then. "Hello Mana. Please let go." Though Yami didn't mind the greeting and obviously smiling from it, he didn't want to be bear hugged for too long. It didnt take Mana long to let them both go before seeing Guardian and beaming with delight as well coming it to her and taking her hands and rocking on her heels. "My my! Its good to see you so soon!~"

The guardian smiled and took manas hands, smiling with almost a wisdom look in her eyes. "It has been a long time, Dark Magican Girl. I am sorry we didn't get to talk more before..." Serena blinked and asked "wait, you two know each other?" Guardian turned and nodded. "Indeed, master, we have known each other for a long time..." Yugi smiled at the group and said. "Mana, we are kind of in a pickle here and we could use your help..."

[Jazz]

Mana smiled brightly toward the Guardian upon hearing her words. Only to looked to Serena. "Yep!" She confirmed. Only then looking to Yugi upon hearing his news. "In a pickle huh? I guess I can see why you would call upon me. Well Let's hear it and see how I can help then shall we?" The Dark Magician Girl's smiled stayed as was her bubbly personality. She would know the seriousness of the situation soon.

Yugi looked at Yami but Serena said quickly "We are dealing between the old gods...some one call The Shadow King and A god named Apep....there's some battle or something that happened long ago that we need more information on if we are going to win this fight..."

[Jazz]

Mana listened to Serena's quick run down on their predicament. Her eyes widened slightly, though seemed to understand. "Oh my! That is quite a pickle that you are in. Weelll, Apep is a God of Darkness. It was said that he started after feeling the craving for power over his sibling gods. He wanted dominion the whole world. An Eternal Darkness. In order to achieve this, he needed the Prince's power." Mana explained. Yami seemed to be in thought as the Dark Magician Girl gave some explanation. "I can see why now he wanted me now. But that does not explain why he needs my heart, whatever he maybe referring to."

Before Mana answered, Guardian answered for her. "He must believe that a part of your power is locked away somehow...and that key to that power is your heart in sorts." Serena rubbed her chin and said "But who or what could the heart be..." Yugi looked at Mana and asked "So how was Apep stopped last time?"

[Jazz]

Mana looked over toward Yugi, she hopped lightly on one foot and began to float into a sitting position her right leg crossed over her left. "If from what I understood, he was stopped by Zahara with the help of the King of Shadows, Sealing him away. How exactly is unsure really." She answered, looking thoughtful. Yami looked to Serena when Mana spoke about how Apep was stopped.

Serena blinked, then thought for a moment and said "I guess in some of the memory flashes I've had...it could be possible" yugi frowned and said "but who is this King of Shadows? We don't even have a name for him..." Serena looked at her pendent, a thought crossing her mind. "I'm his blessed...like Duke and Joey...."

[Jazz]

Yami nodded slowly though having looked over to Yugi and Mana. "Even I do not know Yugi. You might have to ask the gods if they are willing to tell you." She told him with a small smile. "Seem we may, or we wait patiently." Yami commented.

Yugi nodded then Serena said "Mana...is there a way to look back at someones past memories..." Yugi looked at her and said "Isn't that risky..."

[Jazz]

Mana looked to Serena with a surprised look on her face. Yami looked a bit skeptical of this sudden question. "I believe so but that may require a much more experienced spellcaster, someone with a millennium item that can look into someones past memories or even a god to do that. I am no where near as experienced as they are." Mana said with honesty. "You are correct though Yugi, It is risky, even for those that are experienced in something something as looking into someones past memories." She looked to Serena. "Are you sure you really want to?"

Serena closed her eyes and said "There are too many questions and too few answers...the past holds a lot of answers we need...and I can't force myself into one of my flashes...so a more to the point look at my past life is in order..." Yugi looked at Yami and said "But it can't be safe...can it?"

[Jazz]

Yami folded his arms over his chest and shook his head. "It isn't safe. There are quite the risks for the one wanting it done and the one casting it. You can go from damaging you mind in many different ways to even possible killing yourself. The one making the feat possible can even get hurt. But then they can also find out things like your most precious memory to your greatest fears if you are not trained to block those aspects. Either way, there is a low chance that you can make it successful." The pharaoh explained to Yugi and anyone in particular. Mana looked hesitant about this, knowing all the risks too well from her training and studies. "Alright. You will need to find the goddess Hathor. She will be able to help you for not only is she a goddess but she is also a the greatest of spellcasters who can have a greater chance of pulling such a feat." The Magician Girl declared though still hesitant about it all.
