[IC] Yugioh: The King's Shadow

Well that was certainly a suprise to hear. Not what he expected either. How could he say no? He wanted the same thing. "Of course. As you wish." He then took off his shoes, setting them on the floor by the bed. Yami then scoots to the other side of the bed. Holds out his hand to her to take. Should she, he guides her to him and holds her in his arms. Using one hand to cover them up. Yami places a kiss on her forehead.

"Those scars always remain. No matter how much they heal. He will need help to learn to live with those scars. As long as he doesn't let them conclude his life, he will be fine." Marik explained. "Everyone has ways to deal with the trauma. As long as it is healthy, we will endure."

Serena blushed when he moved to lay next to her. She moved and curled against him, a smile on her lips. “We never got to do this…I’m so happy…” she hugged him and closed her eyes.

Duke smiled and nodded. He handed him the loose tea and said “this combo it should help Adam…that guy I don’t know how to help…”

[Jazz]

The pharaoh hugged Serena. "Agreed. I too am happy." Especially since they could have this relationship more openly without judgement. Closing his eyes, Yami buries his face in her hair. "Goodnight, Serena."

Marik nodded and took the tea. When the water was ready, he put the leaves in tea kettle, poured the water carefully and let it steep. "Well wasn't there something said about him liking Dice monsters?" He asks. "That could be something to help him out. To help distract and cope."

Serena smiled and curled closer to Yami. “Good night…my sweet prince…” she held onto him as she dozed off, the burns on her chest not hurting as he held her.

Duke blinked and looked at Marik. “You’re right. Drake said it…maybe I can help more then I thought” he smiled at the tomb keeper and said “thanks. You are something else you know?” They took the tea out and saw almost everyone else was asleep apart from Odion and Adam. Odion looked up and said “your sister is just upstairs calling the hospital. She wanted to check on the riders”

It wasn't long till Yami falls asleep himself, letting sleep finally consume him.

Marik nodded to Odion hearing that Ishizu was calling the hospital. "Hopefully we'll have an idea on their conditions." He looks to Adam before pouring him some tea and handing it to him. "Here. Hopefully this will help."

Adam smiled and took the cup “thank you…it’s been a rough few days…I think it just al hit at once” Duke nodded and said “ya, I think so too. Let’s all get some sleep. Tristen and I can stay up and keep watch for a while. Sound like a plan?”

But then Dukes pendent glowed along with Joeys and Kaibas. Duke held it up and said “that’s odd…”

Marik too saw the pendants glow and was just as confused. "It is. I wonder what's going on. I'll go grab my sister." He goes upstairs to find Ishizu. "Sister. The chosen's pendants are glowing."

Ishizu looked up from the phone and said “I feel it too. The gods must be trying to reach out.” She came in and looked around. “It seems we need to make contact. But it can wait till morning” she moved to Dukes pendent and tapped it. It flashed then faded. She nodded. “Now bed.”

Marik gave a nod and from there picked a spot to go to sleep. At least he knew what the glow was about.

When morning came, Seto was one of the few that woke up early. Noticing that Mokuba had curled up with him. He snuck out of his brother's hold to let him sleep before heading to the kitchen. He looked around for Coffee. When successful, he gets it started before grabbing one of the cases he had left here and grabbed a laptop and began working.

Joey woke up quite a bit later and stretched his whole body before looking around. Seeing Kaiba on the laptop, he notices the Coffee that brewed and headed to the Kitchen to grab him and Seto a mug full. Coming back, he hands a mug to Seto whom accepts it without a peep and takes a drink while he continues to work. Joey sits back in his chair as the others slowly woke up.

Duke was up next and walked in, rolling his neck. “I got Adam to his room last night. His still passed out. I think we should let him sleep for a while longer. I think the last few days have been worse on him than his letting on. I think Yami…um…” he rubbed his neck till the two looked at him “I think he spelt in Serena’s room last night…”

Yugi stirred on the couch, opening his eyes and slowly sitting up. He held his head and muttered “what…day is it…”

In the bedroom Serena was still fast asleep, curled around Yami and breathing softly. But on her desk where her and Yamis decks were sitting were glowing softly. As well as Joeys and Setos.

Joey and Seto looked to Duke when he paused, hearing the news of where Yami had possibly disappeared to. It was silence for a bit till Joey grinned sheepishly. Kaiba looked to Wheeler and frowned but said nothing. He didn't want to know what was going on in that head of his.

Joey's attention was suddenly on Yugi then when he woke up. He felt his mischievous nature rear it's ugly head but had to shake it away. "Mornin' Yug'! It's only Saturday. How ya feelin'?" He asks. Before getting an answer he looks to his duel disk that he forgot to take off and saw the glow. "Yo! What's this about?" He asks confused.

Seto looked to his own and stared at it. He was not ready for whatever was going to happen next. For once he wanted a days peace and quiet so he could gather information.

Yami was also fast asleep, probably the first time he had slept this deeply in a long time. His arms still wrapped around her, not having moved much.

Duke looked at the pendent that was glowing too and said “guess it’s morning…” then a card appeared in front of Duke flashing gold. He caught it and flipped it over. It was a card labeled God of Creation and the gods image. Duke blinked and said “guys…check your decks. I think I know why they are glowing”

Yugi walked over and looked around at them. “Where’s Yami?”

In the bedroom Guardian of King appeared and smiled. “They found each other at last…your plan worked Mahad…” she saw the decks glowing and said “now the battle of the gods will begin…”

Kaiba checked his deck as did Joey. Joey however asks the question. "And why's that?" Joey diverted from the topic a moment and leaned beside Yugi with a mischievous look on his face. "He went spend the night with Serena." Then comes back to the topic with Duke as he pulls out the card that's glowing.

Yugi blinked and said “wait what?! What did I miss last night?!”

Duke held up the card as Kaiba found the same one in his deck and Joey found Rennet card in his. “I think those gods have given a way to call them…”

Seto examined the card before placing it back in his deck. Joey nodded. "Seems so." He said with a smile as he too put the card back in his deck. He then suddenly turns back to Yugi though seemed to ponder all that happened last night. So he explained all that happened ontop of explaining what he remembered when they showed up in the warehouse. "And then when we got here, Yami took Serena to her room and we hadn't seen him since. Well. I don't think anyone has that we know of. Duke pointed it out just before you got up." Joey concludes.

Mahad revealed himself with his arms crossed. He smiles at the two slept. "Finally. I'm just glad they finally got back together." Feeling relieved.

Yugi listened and said “well seems like they learned stuff…guess we need ask when they are awake. Seto? What are you working on?”

Guardian looked over at him and said “seems like your crazy plan worked…after all these years…do you think that history will repeat itself? Or will our pharaoh change her fate this time around…”

[Jazz]

Kaiba sighed, and here we go. "I've been looking for any more incidents, portal reports or if they can be seen besides us. No far nothing."

"He will. He changed his own. He'll be able to change hers. Mahad stated confidently.

Yugi sat by him then Duke said “what about other missing duelists? Like what happened to Drake? They are collecting souls for some reason…” Yugi was thinking and said “are you checking for weather conditions? Odd onnes?”

Guardian nodded and looked at Serena. “I hope your right…she already died once for him…lucky he doesn’t remember it…I’m sure it would hurt him…”

[Jazz]

Kaiba continued what he was doing. "Those duelists are still missing." When asked about searching odd weather patterns, Seto nodded. "I put it into consideration. So far there are none to speak of as of yet."

Mahad sighed and nodded, his face full of sorrow. "It would devastate him to find out. But he would still find a way."

Yugi thought more then asked “what about energy bursts? The shadow realm lets off a lot of power” Duke then said “maybe…we see out of the missing duelists who is in a hospital…”

Guardian nodded and said “I hate to say it but his going to find out…one way or another…I wonder which god will pick whose left of the team to be their blessed…will any pick Yami?”
