Mana said “master…the brotherhood has skies everywhere. Master Seth found two just this week. And that Bakura nut is running around too…I think she did this to protect us. Make herself a target if anyone knew about her…I don’t think she knows how to lean on anyone…she’s never been trained too”

Zhara opened the door to his private part of the palace and said “but my prince; there should never be secrets between friends…”

"I'm....inclined to agree. And I do not know how to talk to her about it." Mahad says. He goes opens the door to the other part of the Pharaoh's chambers. He noticed Priest Seth as he came rushing along. "You go do a search while I talk with Priest Seth."

"But then it's no longer a secret!" The Pharaoh began to pout. He continued to lazily walk with Zhara. He stumbles a little and having a hard time catching himself.

Mana nodded and said “master…you know Zhara. Just talk to her. She’s kind and smart…she will listen” then she ran off.

Zahra turned and caught him then picked him up into her arms, bridal style, and said “I won’t tell anyone…I always keep your secret”

To go from stumbling to suddenly off his feet and the area spinning and off setting but to see the sandstone and Zhara like he was being carried made him chuckle a little. "You are so strong." He coos

Zhara smiled and said as she walked “I must be to protect my pharaoh…now let’s get you to your bed then we can detox you better…” Mana was at the last door and opened it for them. Zhara said softly “tell Mahad I’ll talk to him more later…I feel I need to apologize…”

She set Atem on the bed and said “now let’s get you ready to lay down…do you want help?”

Atem gave Mana a goofy grin as they passed by while going into his room. He looked to his bed then shakes his bed. "I can do it. I want down... please?" When set down, Atem goes toward the vanity table like a sailor that just got off his ship from sea, wobbling a little, needing to rebalance here and there. Luckily it was a short distance enough. He begins to take off all the gold accessories on his person that he could remember but yet he got it all like it was muscle memory. Yet the Millennium Puzzle remained.

After that and with the help of the chair, a wall and a night stand, he makes it to his large bed and sits down, while feeling proud of himself! "See? I made it!" A grin on his face like some cute little kid.

Zhara smiled at him watching his actions then said “you forgot your puzzle. Are you leaving it on for a reason my pharaoh?” She sat next to him, tilting her head at him. Mana left to get the water for him.

Atem looked down at it and held it in his hands like it was glass. "I don' wanna lose it..." He says softly. Though he would take off the Millennium Puzzle. He looks beside him and glares. "I'm not gonna let it go, let me be." He protests at nothing.

As Mana went to go get some water, one of the servants Priest Mahad had told to get water arrived with a pitcher. She stopped and bowed to Mana. "Lady Mana. The water High Priest Mahad called for." Presenting it to her.

Mana took it and said “thank you…umm, could you get master Mahad and Seth for me?”

Zhara frowned and moved and titled his face back to hers, her eyes glowing. “There’s no one there but fears and doubt my pharaoh…” she sighed and looked around and said “I fear your mind might still be at risk…please let this be the right thing to do..” she pulled a bottle from her bag, a antidote, and poured a little into her mouth and then moved and kissed the pharaoh, helping him drink the cure. She didn’t want him to fight her on it. And she hoped the shock would snap his mind out of the fog.

Atem looked at her with no resistance. He nodded a little like a little kid ashamed of his actions. When kissed, the Pharaoh didn't resist and swallowed the liquid that transfered over to his mouth. Though while she was still in the fog for the moment, he leaned in.

The servant bowed again at Mana's request. "Of course, my lady." She goes quickly makes her leave to find the Priests.

Mana went back to the door and saw the pair kissing and she went bright red and turned and blocked the doorway.

Zhara moved back and looked into his eyes and said “not quite…you need more…” she turned to pour more of the liquid into her mouth to help him drink more, not watching his actions while she worked.

Feeling the fog lifting from his mind as Zhara was working on giving him another dose, Atem was starting to feel himself again. And while he watched her, he realized his lips were wet. He moved a hand to his lips as he brushed the back of his hand against them. He figured that Zhara had given him the antidote but what he realized that as he looked up at her she was drinking it. Which didn't make sense. But then it him.

She kissed him!

His slightly hazed mind started to go nuts. Not in a bad way mind you but in a good way if you count that he could feel butterflies in his stomach and his heart race. He wanted to know. Was this is his hazey mind or was it him. Slowly standing up, he waited till Zhara turned around to make his move and kiss her.

Coming just around the corner, Mahad and Seth were giving the reaming orders to the guards before making the rest of the way to Mana. "You called, Mana?" Mahad asks.

Zhara turned back to him and was holding the bottle. “Pharaoh? Are you feeling better? I have more…” then she saw his face and she blushed. “My pharaoh…” then he moved in and kissed her and she paused for a moment then she kissed him back, putting the bottle down.

Mana shook her head and covered their mouths and tried to block their view but she failed and both men saw what was happening.

To say that Mahad and Seth to not only not so shocked that Mana would cover their mouths but to see what was happening before them made them pause. While Seth saw that their Pharoah had made move on Zhara, it only confirmed the questions that were going through Zhara's mind of doubts. This made him smile. Though he had mixed feelings. He'd watch it play out.

Mahad however smiled as he and Seth moved Mana's hands. They both reached for a door and carefully yet as quietly as they could to close it. Mana grabbed Mana's arm and had her pulled away so they could speak, Seth follows. "So exactly what led to this? Mahad asks her in a whispered tone.

Atem pulls away to look after a few minutes and looks at Zhara to see her face, to see what her emotion would truly give him as to figure out what her feeling were. He knew now that he was falling for her. That the antidote was working and his mind more clear.

Mana covered her own mouth till they were away and said “Zhara was worried that he needed more antidote and didn’t want him to fight her on it. So she drank it and then kissed him to give it to him. Then thought he needed more so went to get more and he seemed to snap out of it and…well, I guess made his move. About time. His been staring at her for weeks now…”

Zhara was bright red now. Her eyes bright as she said “my pharaoh…I…” then she swallowed and thought about her talk with Seth. She had to tell him. Maybe now was the time. She lowered her face and said “I think…I’m in love you…”

Seth had crossed his arms over his chest as he listened to Mana's explanation. He could only roll his eyes at the last part of what Mana said. Mahad was not sure what to think. "This was amazing exciting news for the two. But this was a massive secret they would need to keep from the Priests as well as the whole Kingdom. They looked at each other with a slight concern. "Depending how this goes, this will be quite the secret to keep." Mahad admits. Seth nods in agreement.

Atem was smiling softly, knowing now that by her confession that she felt the same way he does for her. A hand moved to caress her cheek and have her look at him. "As I am in love with you." He tells her softly.

Mana said “so we will help them keep it. We won’t let anyone find out. We will make sure they can try. Look how happy they are. I mean Master Seth, you didn’t look surprised. I’m guessing she told you”

Zhara felt his hand on her cheek and his hand tilting her head up. She blinked and said “you…really? You…love me? Not in just the old childhood friend…way?” She had never been so flustered before. Never so embarrassed or off her game.

Seth nods. "She told me about her affections for our Pharaoh. I did warn her about what to expect and be wary of. It wasn't to scare her, but to think about what they both may be getting into." Seth whispered.

"Of course it is more than that." Atem says softly, "are you alright?" A little not of concern crossed his features as he saw her face so red.

Mana nodded and said “and he made the first move. I don’t see a problem as of yet…”

Zhara nodded softly and said “yes I’m just stunned mostly…are you feeling okay? How’s your head?”
