"Yet." Mahad points out. "Right now, we possibly ought to see what happens and go from there." He points out. Seth nods in agreement.

"I am alright. My mind is almost clear but I do feel a buzzing and a headache. But I think that maybe expected. I am just glad that we slowly build my immunity." Atem admits. Slowly reaching to gently take her hand.

Mana nodded and said “and find out more of how that message got in in the first place”

Zhara said “I’m glad we did as well…though I kept it to myself and I think I hurt Mahad by not telling him…” she gripped his hand back and smiled softly.

Bane was watching with Yami and said “you remember any of this?”

[Jazz]

Mahad nods. "Correct. I may go take a look at the message and see what I can learn from it. Mana stay here and help make no one comes to try and go after the Pharaoh, listen well to Priest Seth in manners of the security."

"I could see why. But I am sure if you talk to him, you both will come to an understanding. You always have." Atem releases her hand as the buzzing and throbbing had grown a little and so he sat on his bed. "I may need a drink. My head is getting the better of me a little."

Yami nods. "I do." Smiling a little.

Mana nodded and said “of course master. I won’t fail you or the pharaoh” she looked to Seth and said “what are your orders master Seth?”

Zhara nodded and moved to get him water and put more of the antidote in it to make sure he would recover. Then she sat by his side and held the cup to him. “Here…this should help”

Bane chuckled and said “I’m more surprised you were the first to act…” then he said “do you start to see what is happening to our shadow now?”

Mahad heads to the Pharaoh's Study while Seth looks toward Mana. "I believe posting you up here will suffice. That way you will be able detect a threat easier. I will post myself along the back way." Seth explains.

Atem sees her sit next to him, taking the cup with both hands and takes a drink.

Yami examined the scene though shakes his head. "Sadly I do not."

Mana nodded then looked at him and said “Master Seth…is the pharaoh…truly in danger?”

Zhara watched him drink it all then said “let’s get you resting…” she looked around then really looked around “we truly are alone…I think this is a first…”

Bane said “her powers are a like a wild fire in her soul…think of your powers sealed by your name. But hers is sealed by something else…”

"With what happened to him, either they will search for an opportunity to finish the job or let the poison do it's job. While one is not an option anymore, they will still go for the other." Seth explains.

When Atem finished the cup, he sets it aside before looking back to heras she was looking around. Smiling softly, he steals a kiss on her cheek before taking off his shoes and going to lay down.

"I see. But sealed in what way?" Yami asks Bane.

Mana held her hands and said “why are they so desperate to get him? What could they want from our wonderful pharaoh…”

Zhara blinked and held her cheek from the kiss and looked at him. “My pharaoh…are you sure about this?”

Bane said “think about it…what causes her to release her powers? Think back”

[Jazz]

Seth looks in the direction of the Pharaoh's room. "Because of the power he wields over the shadows. If there is more then I was not privy to that information." He replies.

"Are you?" Atem asks Zhara, laying on his side and looking to Zhara with his head propped.

Thinking on this deeply, he wondered how it all fit together. He looks over to Bane with a guess. "Love?"

Mana looked at him and said “Seth…I don’t want her dying either. That curse mark she has…it hurts her when the red eyed one is around…”

Zhara turned to him and said “it’s not up to me. I serve you. I protect you. I will do what you wish..”

Bane smiled and said “love for her soul mate…her king…her little prince…her love for you is the seal of her true power”

[Jazz]

Seth seemed to thinking on it. He wondered if there was some way to stop it. There was much he was going to have to research within the tomes and scrolls. "Nor do I." Seth murmurs. "I will come check on you after a while." He says as he makes his way toward the other side.

"That is true. However, you also have a say in this." He says sitting up. "If you feel you do not want this or feel ready, I will not hold it again st you, but respect it despite my own feelings. I will force this upon you as I would anything else." Atem continues, wanting her to know that her opinion and feelings matter.

Yami nods as he looks back at the scene in thought.

Mana nodded softly and leaned on the wall, her hands shaking as they were clasped together. “Please…for any gods listening…please spare Zhara…please bless her…”

Zhara looked back at his face, then said “I want this…but I don’t know how we could even have anything…I’m not at your level…I’m just…” she looked down.

[Jazz]

Sitting up, Atem understands her concern. Status was everything. But what didn't know was her status. Taking her hand, he looks at their hands and smiles softly. "Leave it to me. If, you are willing to be patient with me, I will find a way no matter what it takes." He says looking up at her.

Zhara looked at him and said “you would do that? For me? Truly? My pharaoh I don’t know what to say…” she felt like she was in a dream right now. He was choosing her. She never thought he would do that. Not because of anything like ego or such, but because of his love for his people and to honor his father.

[Jazz]

"Just your answer will suffice. I am willing to do anything." Atem tells her, true to his word.

Zhara blinked and then said “then I’m in. I’ll do all I can to make this work for us…” she moved and after pausing a few times she took his hand.

[Jazz]

"That is all I can ask for. Thank you." Atem smiles softly, though the happiest he's ever felt. He though had to soon let go of her hand as his head could no longer be ignored. "For now, I need rest. I have ignored this throbbing for long enough." He tells Zhara while letting go of her hand to lay down.

Zhara nodded and got up and moved to his window and checked outside and said “I’ll keep watch over you…get some sleep…I will be at your side”

Atem smiles while he closes his eyes. Not so long after, the Pharaoh is fast asleep.

Mahad enters the Pharaoh's study to check on the message written, careful not to touch the paper.

The scene faded and Bane said “we now have the key…time to see the lock..”

The scene changed to a battle ground of sorts, men in black hoods running around a small village while the pharaohs men were trying to catch them and arrest them. Mana was running around, breathing hard as she called out “Master! Pharaoh! Master Seth! Please someone answer me!” A cloaked figure appeared behind her and grabbed her, a blade to her neck as she cried out in surprise.
