[OOC] Disgaea: Hotel of Ultimate Evil

So, this is kind of a silly idea I had a little while back. Basically, as the title says, it's a Disgaea RP, with all the fourth wall stuff (as in "main characters", "levelling up", etc, not characters reading the OOC thread or bits of posts taking place in other scenes) that entails. However, the main characters (well, most of them at least) are people from Earth who find themselves in a netherworld, transformed into demons. From there, shenanigans and violence ensue as they go off to find out what happened and kill the overlord, using a rundown hotel as their base. After all, this stuff's usually the big villain's fault, right?

To start with, I'm going to be limiting things to 10 characters, just so things don't get too crazy. This should probably go without saying, but given the franchise this is based on, I'd prefer if we avoided overly serious grimdark. While things might get ridiculous later on as far as character power goes, keep in mind that PCs should be starting off on the lower end of the scale.

Name: Anno
Age: 22
Appearance: "Wh-what's with this o-outfit?" Brown hair, blue eyes, pale skin, black-and-white maid outfit. Red wings and tail.
Personality: Shy and somewhat reclusive, Anno spends most of her time reading or on the computer. While she is a bit more likely to be somewhat open among friends, her nerves get to her easily and she sometimes suffers from anxiety. She does her best to try and work through this, but it can sometimes be rather difficult to do so. She is a fan of action and slice of life works, as well as comedies. She is also a fan of yuri. She likes cute things a great deal and is very, very much against seeing children hurt for any reason. Anno is a massive fan of the Nasuverse, Touhou, and a lot of other things that would take an unnecessarily large amount of space to list. She finds the maid outfit highly embarrassing.
Brief Backstory: Anno's life is mostly uninteresting, she's mostly just a normal girl. Until the whole Demon thing.
Class: MAID OF INFINITE DARKNESS ("W-wait, what?")
Equipment:
-A broom: Used to clean things. Also bonk them on the head. It tends to hurt.
-Maid Outfit of +100 Maidliness: She's unquestionably a maid. She doesn't know why.
Powers:
-Evility: Essence of Yuri- Anno likes cute girls. A lot. So much so that she gets a ten percent power boost. But it's really kind of embarrassing, too.
-Skills: Pocket Mansion- What's a maid without a mansion to tend to? Only in this case the mansion is in a pocket dimension. In her pocket. Currently she has access to only the kitchen, and can toss things from within it out at the enemy.
Abilities: She can draw okay, that's about it. Well, and play some video games decently. Does that count?

... Still basically just me. ^^; It's a little embarrassing, but it's funny and I can handle it.

Age: 24

Appearance: Except with the obligatory pointy demon ears.

Personality: Rachel is shy around people she doesn't know, though once she feels comfortable around someone, she becomes more cheerful and talkative. She can be surprisingly hammy if she feels the situation calls for it, and what situation calls for ham more than fighting demons as a magical girl...even if she is also a demon. She tends to apologise a lot. Rachel is a fan of assorted manga and anime, mostly slice of life or action series, as well as RPGs and assorted tokusatsu series. She also enjoys music, mostly metal (generally more of the "heavy" or "power" varieties) although a number of songs from different genres have caught her attention once in a while and cooking.

Brief Backstory: Rachel has had a boring, ordinary life for the most part. Her parents split up when she was little, although it was mostly civil and she still sees both of them from time to time. She coasted through school without any real effort, getting decent grades in the process. She recently moved out of home and started studying to become a teacher.

Class: Warrior of Love and Justice! A glass cannon class with high magical damage and speed, but not much in the way of defences. Uses staves, fists and a true magical girl's weapons...guns.

Equipment:
-Plastic Wand: An artifact of great power. Definitely NOT a toy.
-Glasses: A pair of prescription glasses. Makes things much less blurry.
-FRILLS OF JUSTICE!: A magical girl's uniform.

Powers:
-Evility - Weekly Monster Mash: As a magical girl, Rachel has knowledge the secret of wailing on monsters for massive damage. Increases damage dealt to monster enemies.
-Skills - Napalm Death: Deals fire damage in a cross shape in front of Rachel.

Abilities: She's an okay cook.

• Personality: Jon can normally be described as quiet. Easily flustered. Hesitant to talk to strangers.

  Scratch Claw: Feels wonderful on the back.

  Evility: Shapeshifter: Reduces the stat-loss incurred during Magichange.
  Magichange: For whatever reason turns into a red chainsaw with flames on the guide bar.
  Skills: Firefox: Lobs a pair of fireballs at given target. May have splash damage too.
