And yes, there seems to be a push for developing more than one planet in this coming iteration, so it may be better to develop different species on different planets before the great collision. But again, it's all IC and player preference xD anything beyond Game Mechanics is out of my scope of GM powers
Edit: ninja'd
What are thoughts on that matter, everyone?
I think it's best to let this develop organically.
I suppose I'll take this opportunity to share a bit about the two planets I was planning to have Zephyrion make. For one of them, I actually don't intend for it to directly interact with the rest of the RP much. It would be something of a living hell though, so it's not like anybody is missing paradise.
The other one will be much nicer, at least at first. It will be his second attempt, and much closer to perfection. Naturally, I'll share this one.
I have the vague plan that something will happen to nicer planet (probably the easiest thing would be Vestec just deciding to corrupt/destroy it so as to troll his buddy in the wind god) and then Zephyrion will more or less give up on it. Then he'll go back to his first planet, help bring about a sentient race that can thrive in its terrible environment, and then guard it zealously from the other gods so that they don't ruin it.
For the
nice damaged world that Zephyrion is willing to share, my idea was that it would be so screwed up that entropic forces are literally in the constant process of destroying it. The various "continents" would just be giant landmasses flying through an empty void of nothingness, literally floating islands. In the center would be a holy site that Zephyrion makes (or somebody else, or Zephyrion with the help of somebody else; it doesn't matter that much) that emanates some sort of orbs, or energy, or something like that. There isn't enough of the magical stuff for everyone. So all the nations/races/people on the different continents would be engaged in perpetual warfare as they try to claim that energy for themselves so that their entire continent isn't destroyed.
Basically it would be a great arena for the gods' minions to kill each other, for centuries on end, with their very existence hinging on victory being a pretty good motivator.
Anybody find that idea interesting?
