His domain is war, not bloodshed. It is his understanding of it that allows him to know when it is need, such as to keep the population from growing too large, or making war for a people's survival. And when it is not needed, when war is declared simply for one's amusement, when innocents are killed for the sake of killing. He will not always end a war, but he will never ignore one, even a battle, not even a skirmish.
A portfolio of combat, an art of its own. Those who pursue the art of combat may be watched, and those who do so in his name are observed. There are many forms of combat, all unique, all evolving. Strength is not everything, neither is speed, those being just pieces of a machine. The mind, that is the control, in the end it is what separates good warrior from great ones, and great warriors from legends. Those who have pursued the art of combat, whom have proved themselves in their path, may receive his blessing. But remember, combat does not always end in death.
