5, give or take a few.

Let's see... all the main characters of Tin (all of whom were sociopaths), your character in my RP (asshole), plus Ialu of this RP (asshole extraordinaire). When you add the God of Air you're making to the mix, it seems that the Cyclone just brings in jerks
Not that I'm complaining. A few jerks can spice up an RP.

I must admit, it is heavily influenced by the god Janus in Smite.

But I see where you're coming from.

I guess I will go with my God of War. I guess my main problem would be with coming up with a name for him...

Hmm, just read up on Janus. Seems very interesting. I'd say you're looking more towards a god of Change (Time) there, or Change (Space). It could also be Creation (Time), Creation (Space), Creation (Genesis).

On Cyclone's point, tell us a bit more about what this god's personality will be likes, his/her abilities and maybe their name. That might help narrow it down more

Tsk tsk, of all those listed, we had two drunken fools (only one being really malevolent), one misguided zealot whose honor drove him to near madness, one wise old uncle figure, and then one guy who was such a psychopathic killer and power-hungry lunatic that I won't bother trying to defend him.

Now the challenge is for you to think back and tell me which ones were which!

Meh, not sure. As I say, working on an assignment for Sunday at the moment, and two more after that. If you ever do Law, you'd understand the level of 'I eat Law. I sleep Law. I walk Law. I poop Law. Wherever I go, I see Law. Slowly, but surely, I am transforming. Into a textbook. It's called Law.'

I still need to finish re-writing the Game Mechanics, and I don't want to rush it.

Look what you've done! You've gotten poor Hael's hopes up only to probably not deliver or take many times longer than expected AND OH GODS THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING TO ALL OF YOU ALL THIS TIME, WITH MY CONSTANT PROMISES AND FAILURES

So @Kangutso if you have the creativity go for it. If not, war and honor seems an appropriate combination and something that might also be fun.

Here's a tip: envision a character first, and then make the domain/portfolio around them. Not the other way around. I've found doing this somewhat harder, but I'm convinced that it lends itself to better results. When you think, "I want a god of air!" you're left with not much of a guideline, but when you envision an arrogant, meddlesome, and unpredictable loudmouth of a god, the idea of air comes naturally. It's fitting for a guy who's full of himself

I will try doing that, then. See where it gets me. Though I must say, doing personalities and histories/bios are the hardest things for me.

The second to last pairing I mentioned before. But for now I'll build him in the off time, and focus on War.

I'll see what kind of personality I come up with for him and post it for your viewing. And I can't think of a name, so if anyone can throw me names or ways to come up with one, that'd be good.

Fortunately history is of no concern for your character this time, so maybe that will make it easier.

As in for a name, that too should ideally come after you've determined personality, at least if you want it to sound fitting or immediately leave an impression of some sort. In most cases I put some thought into names and attempt to come up with a good one, though I know some people who just pick the first thing they come up with. They then proceed to roll from there without worrying about deeper meaning or anything of the sort. I pretend not to judge them for it, but deep down I really do

Jokes aside, I'll offer to toss a few name ideas your way if you're really struggling.

Here, if you're struggling to think of a personality then try just going on a list like this and pick some adjectives at random to get a framework. Once you've got a couple of those main traits, you can weave them together into an actual personality and then from there add pretty details like domain and portfolio. It's like making a building; before you make the walls of brick and mortar, you need some loose scaffolds as your framework.

HAH. Of course we got a lot more interest! So, is this starting earlier than scheduled or..? Honestly, I've been itching to get back to RPing for some time now. I actually took a break when it was decided that this would go on hiatus until summer. It's still academic period for me but I think that I can make 4 posts a week happen this time around.

Oh, hello there my fellow brethren. Ah, drowning is but one of the myriads of ways one's life can suddenly fade away into the Spirit Realm. The might of the sea is known and feared throughout Galbar, with not even the gods daring to trespass into the realms of the mighty Undasis. The might of the Sun though, is not to be underestimated as well for, it is the Sun that weakens the Darkness, it is the Sun that gives life to plant life which is the basis of all life.

No, please, don't judge me!

But really, if I'm still having trouble with names, I'll take the offer.

He will enjoy war, but he won't relish it. He will watch it, he may participate, he could even end it himself. He will love combat, but not to the point of loving bloodshed. He will be calm, observant, and humble. He will be a confident and brave god, unafraid to stare down another should the need arise. He will respect others, even mortals, unless they earned his ire. Those who beg him to end a battle, even a war, may have earned a response. Should the chaos of war last too long, should it threaten the world, he will step in.

His domain is war, not bloodshed. It is his understanding of it that allows him to know when it is need, such as to keep the population from growing too large, or making war for a people's survival. And when it is not needed, when war is declared simply for one's amusement, when innocents are killed for the sake of killing. He will not always end a war, but he will never ignore one, even a battle, not even a skirmish.

A portfolio of combat, an art of its own. Those who pursue the art of combat may be watched, and those who do so in his name are observed. There are many forms of combat, all unique, all evolving. Strength is not everything, neither is speed, those being just pieces of a machine. The mind, that is the control, in the end it is what separates good warrior from great ones, and great warriors from legends. Those who have pursued the art of combat, whom have proved themselves in their path, may receive his blessing. But remember, combat does not always end in death.
