@Lugubrious OOC will be fine, unless there are any secrets you don't want everyone else to know *looks around conspiratorially*
I'm just interested in knowing if they are an 'Order', which would otherwise require Might (but I think it is safe to say that, due to that terrific post, I'll let it pass in a restricted form - restricted to the village it is in and twenty or so members. If you want it to grow, you'll have to spend Might in future)

As the Liaison already wields the kind of Wi being taught, I don't there is an issue there.

Last thing - the temple is not (at least now) a holy site is it? Because that DOES require Might otherwise the game mechanism managing how they work breaks.

Spelling and Grammar: 9/20 (few typos here and there, but brilliant on the whole)

Writing Quality: 10/10 (The definition of gripping. Loved it)

Story Line Advancement: 10/10 (This new 'Order' of sorts and the new Wi humans know will change the Fate of Mankind forever! What's more, you've just inadvertently set humans on the path to more advanced architecture xD let there be stone houses and walls)

Character Development: 10/10 (For an Outsider, your character has really grown close to humans. His ability to understand his own weaknesses and limitations and calling out to his god. Surrounded by his new Order, I think he will only grow as a character. You've put him in an interesting position, perhaps the fame of this temple will grow so much that it will attract other Heroes...coughIalucough)

Independence: 10/10 (You've seized on what others have posted and progressed beautifully)

Just wondering, just read jet's post, did all those who the Liaison taught get transported to the new archipelago? And if so, does the 'Order' still exist now?

I guess not. Oh well, hard come, easy go. Looks like the fate of mankind isn't going to be changed. Serves me right for forgetting that I need Might.

Nothing stopping you from re-founding it and using enough Might that it can't be removed so easily.

You won't be able to stop him next time, Jet!

@Lugubrious No, it's an interesting development! Just as the Liaison made these bonds, they were savagely torn away. What would this do to it? How will it react? Does it really care?

Unfortunately that won't be an option.

Turn 4!

I better jump on the hero train, I guess, since everyone seems to have suddenly decided to pick absolutely random mortals and make them super-powered

THE MERMAIDS ARE COMING!

As usual, if you spot any errors in the Turn Sheet, tell me

Evelynn is in grey because we'll probably have to just let her go if she doesn't post this turn

@Lugubrious I'll ask jet to edit his post. I think taking all the Order was a bit much

@jetipster Do you reckon it'll be ok to leave some of the Order behind? A dozen or so?
This actually works pretty well. We can assume that the Order was initially large, and the reason it became so small was because Svei took 'em all!

He rose from his troubled slumber to find that another Cimex was attacking him, and this time the dumb beast was chewing on his foot! Ialu killed it with his club.

This Cimex are defiantly not dumb.

Oh and @Kho, how many years cab we assume has passed from the start of Galbar?

Hmm, not sure. I'd say a good few hundred thousand years. Animals were probably around for ten thousand to twenty thousand years. Humans, Dyuns, Cimex have been around for three to ten years.

If anyone has more scientifically accurate numbers, feel free to suggest something better

Also, I'm changing the Free Point system slightly. Will have it up in the OP as soon as I can (under Might)

It will be effective from Next Turn.

So, it won't effect THIS turn (4)? Because I was saving my Freebies up for teaching the Merpeople this round.

If the new system won't affect that, than nevermind

Dumb to fight a hero but then again Ialu does look pretty ordinary. And probably looked dead. In any case, I was saying it from his perspective rather than as a general statement

Fish-bugs?

That's truly horrifying. I'll be honest, my monsters ain't got nothing on that.

But, on the bright side, StormHunter and Terrorfish will devour them all the moment your unnatural monstrosities enter the water.

Considering we just made them all, we could get away with it being a decade since Galbar's creation easily.

Assuming that the city building and all these divine gifts are almost instant, I still think 10 years is too short considering that there are Wi masters. If we assume that the Wi has been widespread for something like 8 years, I'm still not sure if humans would have truly grasped it, much less started declaring themselves masters at it.

Oh, there's also how twice we have been given a rough approximation of a human's age: the father in the story about the ambush is about 30, and one of Kho's posts mention a woman that is around 90.

Well, I'm assuming I can keep changing tactics to avoid that. But you can't use the adaptability as a way of getting out of anything. Even if they adapt to the water, I doubt they'll be used to it or prepared for undersea battle right away. Some things need experience, not just evolution.

On the other hand, Undasis won't want to go to war with the Cimex by any means. It would be tiring to have to constantly change with the ever-evolving enemy. Might be better just to ignore the Cimex for as long as possible, or until there's a sure opportunity to wipe out a ton of them.
