Average heroes would be around 2. I figure if you're parading about as a gadgeteer, using chemical weapons, etc. you'd need some brains. Batman's IQ would be a 5, Brainiac's would be a 10. I also see IQ as being a part of a larger experience. If you're character has the scientific background and you wanna keep coming up with stuff [I'm thinking like turning Savage Hulk smart after a time, going beyond Level 10, making him use tech...] I would imagine making them a point or two higher than their peers who aren't scientists.
IDK about half the names of the moves but it looks legit LOL.
[I'm thinking like turning Savage Hulk smart after a time, going beyond Level 10, making him use tech...]
You could have him switching between his alternate egos; such as Green Hulk, The Professor (the merged version of Green Hulk and Bruce Banner), Doc Green (Extremis enhanced Hulk), Kluh (Hulk's Hulk) and Savage Hulk.
Lariet of Hestia Using her lasso Wonder Woman traps an enemy and forces them to speak only the truth, giving her valuable Intel to aid in the battle.
Godly Strength Calling on the blessings of her father Zeus, Wonder Woman can temporarily gain unimaginable strength, easily surpassing other heroes who are limited by their own physiology.
Lightning of Zeus Channeling her father's wrath Wonder Woman can send powerful bursts of electrical energy flying across the battlefield, hitting multiple foes at once and disabling weaker ones with a single shot.
Aegis of Athena Using her unbreakable bracelets Wonder Woman can deflect most attacks, allowing her to easily avoid damage. In times of great need she can even unlock the full potential of the Aegis, summoning a full suit of magical armour to fully protect her body.
Superhuman Speed and Durability Wonder Woman's mystically charged body is capable of moving with far greater speed and agility than any mere mortal, and even when a blow does connect she can usually weather the impact while taking far less damage.
@Genni Streak was accepted BTW. I'll go ahead and put your card with the others in the opening post of the character tab to save me time. You can post the rest of the CS. Dunno why these other two are taking their time LOL
Now it's a four person game, and I'm still talking to two more interested players who PM'ed me earlier. I'm surprised how much this shaped back up in just a day!
Name: Jackson 'Jack' Lake Alias: Sureshot Age: 31 Powers:
Marksmanship: Jack is highly skilled with many forms of firearms, although generally prefers to make use of his custom-built twin automatic pistols when taking on opponents.
Double Whammy - Using both pistols at once, Sureshot shoots a target with a quick one-two combination.
Rapid Fire Volley - While emptying his clips may not always be the best way to get a good, clean shot off at a target the rain of bullets certainly makes them keep their heads down, providing cover for Sureshot's allies.
Disarm - Using his skilled precision to best effect Sureshot can shoot an enemy's weapons from their hand, hit a piece of equipment in such a way as to render it inoperable or even switch on the TV without having to reach for the remote.
Headshot - Sometimes an enemy is so irredeemable that there's only one way to ensure innocents come to no harm, and when those times come Sureshot knows that making the shot may not be the easy choice but it is the best choice.
Body Armour: Sureshot's high-tech body suit incorporates low-light goggles and an air-filtering mask which ensure he can continue operating in a variety of battlefield conditions. Granting good protection from all manner of small arms, energy bursts and puncture weapons, the armour struggles when dealing with concussive and thermal blast waves and offers very little protection against radiation. With the latest in nanotechnology constantly repairing and adapting itself the armour makes sure it retains its protection no matter what stresses Jack puts it through.
Weaknesses: Despite his skills Jack is still only human, and reliant on ammunition. While he tends to carry a plentiful supply with him, sometimes Sureshot can find himself in need of a fresh clip, with no other way to help his allies. Without his body armour Sureshot is just as vulnerable as any other human would be to damage, something he's very aware of when going into combat.
Appearance:
Brief Bio:
Formerly an Army Ranger Jack was dishonourably discharged for striking a superior officer when his commander ordered his unit to open fire on civilians during an engagement. With his entire unit refusing to corroborate his version of events Jack was left out to dry by the country he once served with distinction. Falling on hard times Jack found himself taking unsavoury mercenary jobs just to make ends meet, but when once again facing the moral dilemma of being order to kill innocents he turned on his employers and protected the targets instead.
Now on the run from the organised crime syndicate who once employed him, Jack has turned his abilities to the side of good. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire Sureshot.
Notes:
Jack's wife and son are currently in hiding at a safe location known only to the family and their closest, most trusted allies.
OOC Notes: I've given Sureshot a Speed of 4 since he uses two guns simultaneously, and so would be twice as fast as an average human. His situational awareness and ability to calculate trajectories for his weapons in his head give him a slightly higher IQ than average and his equipment and specialisation with weapon attacks give him a fair number of abilities rather than making him a physically powerful character.
Basically Sureshot is a blend of Green Arrow and the Punisher, with a little Deadshot thrown in for good measure.
Since when could WW throw lightning?
Pre-New 52 - Wonder Woman (vol. 3) #39 (February 2010) - The ability to channel Zeus's lightning through her bracelets. Zeus explained to her that this power had been contained within the bracelets since their creation, because they were once part of the Aegis, and that he had only recently unlocked it for her use.
Post-New 52 - "Clay" Wonder Woman v4, 3 (January 2012) - Further explained that this ability was due to Diana being the natural born daughter of Hippolyta and Zeus, who had become lovers after a violent clash. Hippolyta revealed Diana's earlier origin story (having been crafted by Hippolyta from clay and made flesh by the blessings of the Gods) to be a lie, spread amongst the Amazons to protect Diana from the wrath of Hera, who is known for hunting and killing several illegitimate offspring of Zeus.
If you guys wanna post the remaining portion of your CS's in the character tab we can get this thing moving. Sureshot also looks good to go. Where are you guys getting the cool name logos? I really want one now with flames for Spitfire...
