Can he use Stone skin to boost his stun baton attack from 4 to 9 and higher?
No. The
Stun Baton uses a fixed damage of its own which wouldn't be affected by Brick's
Stone Skin ability, but would be affected by Ironside's
Upgrades ability since that one specifically targets gear, rather than the user.
Question: if say brick attacks with stun baton for 4 against a 4 defense enemy, does stun still effect? or, does the stun baton still stun people with a 5 or higher defense but only have the chance to harm people with a 3 or lower defense?
It depends on the nature of the defence.
If a target is using something like an
Armoured status effect to increase their Defence to 4 or higher they'd still be
Stunned when the armour was hit. If they had a natural Defence of 4 or higher they wouldn't get
Stunned as they'd be able to avoid the blow entirely. In other words, watch out for agile opponents who'll dodge the baton and hit you in the face.
The rules for the
Stun Baton state that only targets whose Defence is exceeded by the attack get
Stunned, unlike Bumblebee's
Sting Like A Bee ability which automatically
Shocks even if it doesn't breach the target's Defence, since the main point of that ability is to weaken their Defence and so acts as a small explosion of lightning which couldn't be dodged.
Can Nickelback control other robots?
I asked her and she said she can't.
Ironside's currently developing invasive protocols for her nanotech which should shortly allow her to override the controls of robots and machines, but she'd need more data on the mechanical lifeforms' operating systems before being able to complete her programming.
Do the cuffs work on her?
No. The
Cuffs were carefully calibrated under Nickelback's orders to not be able to drain her metabolism fast enough to overcome her supercharged Energy generation, so she can easily break out of them if anyone ever tried to use them against her.
1 If she can control other robots, even if by voice command, and the cuffs would affect her ability to command those robots, then she qualifies
If she could command robots verbally, something she claims she can't do, the
Cuffs wouldn't prevent her from giving orders as she'd still be able to speak. You'd need to get a
Power-Draining Gag to prevent her from using her voice.
2 If she was using some other mechanical means to command robots the
Cuffs would be able to drain the Energy from whatever device was being used, which would cut communications with the robots.
The
Cuffs would bind a target's hands, or feet if you chose to use them on the target's ankles, and
Exhausts them preventing regeneration of Energy so they wouldn't be able to use abilities. Be wary of enemies which still have residual Energy though, as the
Cuffs won't prevent them from using stored power to make one final attack.
...Can she drain the power from power draining cuffs?
There's no power in
Power-Draining Handcuffs to drain. They're made of a magically-infused metal alloy which automatically drains Energy from anyone they're touching and so they'd still work even if all other power was being drained in the environment, such as when Nickelback walks up behind you to inquire exactly why you're asking so many personal questions about her.
The
Cuffs are stored in a special protective sheath so the person carrying them doesn't get affected by the Energy draining effects by mistake. Something which was developed after the first few field tests where the agents suddenly found themselves powerless against their opponents and quickly overwhelmed.
31 - Apart from Nightingale, but that's a personal matter which doesn't get discussed in public.
