I get what he means. I hadn't bothered to update the room description fluff at the end of the turn breakdown, so I was still telling people the body with the armour was there to be collected.

Oh right. I thought he was making a comment about Bumblebee having picked up the armour twice, or some such thing. :)

I read this as 'Didn't Bumblebee take that armour in an earlier round'. My mistake. :)

Keep it as a permanent upgrade, but she can't gain any Xp from the current mission.

Or, when she levels up, she can gain an ability that allows her to permanently scavenge equipment from the battlefield.

You could have it suffer battle damamge to make it still an upgrade but not quite as strong as it is right now

I'm keeping it open for anyone to scavenge equipment, and I'll be hiding things on various missions for the characters to collect for upgrades, such as weapons, tech and porn magazines.

You could have it suffer battle damamge to make it still an upgrade but not quite as strong as it is right now

So a permanent upgrade which degrades after each battle, providing a weaker bonus each time before it falls apart?

Something like that, or just have it get damamged this battle and drop it down to like +2/3, though i find the degrading over time the better option myself.

Heretic uses porn magazine, enemies are now Seduced

Enemies rip pages out of the magazine for themselves; Porn magazine is destroyed.

Since I was going to have brick grab it after the hostages were all gone... I say that for this fight, the armor provides the Armored status effect, granting a +5 to defense for 3 rounds OR She gains +3 to defense for 3 attacks with a -1 for each attack she is targeted by until +0. If she wants to incorporate it into her flight suit later, then she can spend the XP and raise her defense.

Perhaps GM will let her buy the increase at half if she sacrifices the item at time of character upgrade. Hmm this makes me think of ways that would make purchasable items from A.E.G.I.S. for missions like our own smoke bombs or the like.

I'd personally love to buy items in between missions (with the currency being XP).

That could easily be an option, although any purchased items would have to either be a one-shot piece of equipment or a cheaper skill upgrade, depending on what you'd prefer.

I could easily have part of the post-mission rewards be a salary paid by A.E.G.I.S. based on your performance, with 'Employee' characters gaining a bonus due to the efforts of their business managers.

I like the idea of one shots, again an RPG type of thing. Things like grabbing the guns from the enemy gunbunnies and using 'shotgun blast' or 'full auto' then dropping the weapon.

Personally I don't see the point of smokebomb, what is the point of dropping everyones attack and defense by -1. The damage difference is the same (5-2=3 is just the same as 4-1=3) Unless AOE ignore the effect or something specific happens if you can get the enemy stat to 0

At any point did you see me say you couldn't do that? ;)

When Gungirl 1 was disarmed and the shotgun was on the floor it was fair game for anyone to use it, although if it had been left unclaimed Gungirl 1 would've picked it up again and had it ready for use in the next round. The shotgun has a limited ammo effect which means it needs to be reloaded after each shot, and since none of the party have any shells it would've been worthless as a ranged weapon after being used the first time.

The same goes for the pistols if you use the 'Full Auto' ability with them.

Having said that, if you tried to use weapons then your basic Attack stat (the one on your profile before taking into account any active status effects) would be reset to the basic strength of the weapon when firing it (the Attack stat of the Gunmen or Gungirls in this case), since you'd be using the weapon rather than your own strength or abilities to cause damage.
