Soapstone - Destroyed Kindergarden
How many days has it been since his formation? How much time has elapsed since he first gained consciousness? What does the world outside of his gem appear to be? Many would question this to themselves as they wait in the darkness, the soul crushing loneliness or soul tearing curiosity would eventually make all come out of their shells, or gemstones for this instance. Though, Soapstone was not many as he disregarded those questions with an almost scorn-like behavior. He liked the way things were set up for him.
He liked this loneliness, this isolation, the solitary confinement that he had created for himself. The crippling cold of isolation warming up the spirit of the gem. Everything was perfect, no one shall ever know of his mistakes, the countless errors that Soapstone had already accomplished without even leaving his gem. Misguided calculations doomed him from the very beginning, since the day he was formed was the day that he had already lost to the unfair universe. Though, no one shall know of his failures, the constant feeling of worthlessness that everyone around would gather from him. He smiled, isolation shall protect him from his own misgivings.
~Rumble~Eh? This was something new, Soapstone had never felt his surroundings shake around him. What was going on? The gem shook his head violently, this kind of curiosity shall be the death of him if not controlled, it was not his problem to worry about quakes.
Crack. Huh? What was that? Another foreign noise was starting to make Soapstone anxious, what was happening to his surroundings? What was happening to his paradise? A series of snaps and cracks continued, the rock formation surrounding the gemstone was crumbling due to a certain explosion, the face of a cliff losing stability. Soapstone rubbed his hands as the cracking continued, was he being dug up? Did someone finally find him hidden in the ground? The rocks gave away, this resulted inside of a minor rock slide as an unstable cliff feel apart due to the massive explosion shifting the formation of the rocks. This was new to Soapstone as he felt his surroundings give away.
Soapstone panicked, another feeling that he hasn't experienced in quite some time. The gemstone had no idea what was happening outside, he could be being picked up by something, or falling into the ocean! This was bad, very bad. He didn't know what to do, accept his fate and hope for the best, or try to change it? The thought struck Soapstone quite hard, change... He forgot the last time he had the desire to change something in his life. The gemstone breathed deeply, the panicking from his system ebbing away from his thoughts. Everything seemed to be heading towards one direction, accept your fate, do not change anything even if it would mean death. Soapstone closed his eyes, this was reasonable for his beliefs that he had been basing his life upon. However, something inside of his gem was saying something, it was getting louder and louder and it sounded almost as if it was saying, LIVE! Soapstone opened his eyes.
Outside of the gemstone, it was falling to its doom. The placement had been almost at the very top of the chasm, the cliff had gave away and now the weak material would be hitting the rubble shortly if nothing was to be done. However, halfway towards the rough ground, Soapstone started to glow inside of a dark green sheen. White light, tinted green, started to come out of the Soapstone. The head seemed to form first, the construct allowing the gem to rest safely upon the tip of the skull. A body quickly formed next, arms and legs coming right after. The base of the construct had been created, and soon the details started to become more apparent. Coils of light wrapped around the body, entombing the gem inside of a covering of something. The body would soon be enveloped by something else, a large trench coat seemed to cover the already wrapped body, adding even more secrecy. Goggles snapped upon the face, and lastly the final construct resembling a hat covering the gem. It shined even brighter before the figure popped into a solid form.
Soapstone hit the ground, his feet slamming into ground as large stones pattered upon his headgear, the pebbles falling onto the ground soon after. The gem opened his eyes, he squinted as light seemed to shine upon his face, this was new. He reached for his goggles, adjusting them to fit his face in a more comfortable position as his eyes seemed to adjust to the brightness. Soapstone blinked a few more times, this was going to be something he needed to get used to with his physical form. As his eyes started to do their job, Soapstone noted a few things as he looked around the place. It was completely demolished, a large crater seemed to be the main attraction, and there were living things in his sight... Shit.
