@LoonyYou know, I could even see them having similar origins as garnet, in the event that they were raised on homeworld instead of earth. Sodalite, a master of negotiations and linguistics and Evenkite, a much more fiery and sassy gem who speaks even when not spoken too. Eve does something in front of a great presence, and Sodalite, seeing the injustice of it, uses her knowledge to break the both of them from their homeworld shackles. Though, I don't think that they'd fuse, if at all unless if was of dire importance. They like being themselves, and would rather be around each other physically than two consciousnesses fused together to drive a single body. I think they'd see that as weird.

I think Eve would've loved being fused at first, especially because of the power high, but both because they enjoy being themselves and because Eve can get sorta carried away, they choose to remain unfused for the most part.
