Gippal watched the clouds through the window of the airship as it sailed through the air towards Besaid. He started to think about his friends on the island, whom most he hasn't seen for five years for he had not stepped on Besaid's sands for the many years. He was excited to see the island again, to smell the salty air. He closed his eyes and leaned his head against the glass. After a minute he felt as if he was being watched. He opened his left eye and looked around and saw a little girls eyes down to her nose peaking over the chair ahead of him and staring at him. As soon as she saw his eye she ducked back behind the seat. He smiled and leaned back in his chair, leaning his chin on his hand, with his elbow propped no the arm rest, looking back to the News Sphere playing in front of him, as it mentioned,

"There has been another case of missing people in Zanarkand yesterday, bringing the total of people missing to 100 in three years. Many are calling for the government to stop trying to rebuild, that it should remain as a holy ground to remind the people of our past. The New Yevon officials explain they are sending more soldiers to secure the area, that in doing this they my find the core of the problem, be it a deadly fiend or ancient Machina, they are not willing to give a statement if they believe it was either..."

Gippal sighed and turned it off. All he knew about the situation was that it couldn't be a fiend or an ancient machina, due to the fact that he was there, along with multiple hunters trying to find it. Every time they went they found nothing, that a normal soldier couldn't handle. He decided to ignore it at the moment, despite his wanting to return there and get to the root of the issue.

Next to him sat Urick, his best friend, and cousin on his mothers side. snoring loudly with his head drooping over the headrest of the chair because he was so massive. He had fallen asleep for the entire flight from Bevelle to Luca, through the unloading and boarding of new passengers, then through till Kilika where he woke up for a bit before falling asleep once again just after take off. The guy slept like a log.

He nudged him as he felt the Airship slow down as it was reaching Besaid, at which the snoring stopped but he remained motionless. After a moment he lifted his head and looked at Gippal with a question in his eyes as if saying ' why did you wake me?' At which Gippal simply jerked his thumb to the window and watched Urick as his eyes looked out the window then after a second understanding came to him. Then after another moment he laid his head back again and closed his eyes.

A few more minutes and the airship jolted as it landed, at which everyone instantly stood up to grab their luggage. At which Urick and Gippal waited. For Urick was massive and it would just be easier for them to wait to get off last. Once they were able to do so they got up, and well Urick had to walk hunched over to avoid hitting the bars above him.

After a few moments they now stood at the bottom of the ramp to the airship, Gippal took a few steps in the sand, dropped his bag and knelt down to grab a handful of sand, after which he stood up and took a deep breath of the salty air while rubbing the sand between his hands. He let out a satisfied sigh. He missed this place so much. Sad no jobs ever lead him to here during those five years.

He was glad though he was here now, and that Tidus asked him to join the team. No one knew what Gippal was about to get back into the Sphere again. It had been five years since he played an official, match much to the fans dislike. Not even the Aurochs knew that he was joining, only that they were getting a new striker, to fill his cousin Vidina's spot, uncle Wakkas son who broke his leg only two weeks before.

He looked towards the path of the village and looked at all the crowds that had come in on airship and boat to follow their team to Luca. In the distance he saw uncle Tidus and some of the Aurochs waiting near the path looking towards them. Before he could wave he suddenly heard a loud squeal, at which he reflexively covered his ears. He then heard "It's Gippal!!! " from a group of teenage girls who surrounded him like a pack of dogs on a three legged cat. All of whom started to yell explaining how much they love him, look up to him or how big of fans they where and asking for autographs. He put on a smile and signed the autographs but quickly tried to make an exit to get away from them. He wanted to see all of his friends on the island as quickly as he could. It helped when Urick suddenly pushed his way in between him and the girls. He didn't have to say a word, as he only folded his arms and fact he was massive easily distracted the teenagers just enough for him to slip by to make his way to Tidus.

Naisha woke up quite early in the morning, her body felt heavy under the light blankets, but with some effort she managed to get up from the bed and get changed. Even now after 15 years she still couldn’t believe how much her body had changed from before… to think that at one point those extremely thin hands, had the power to wield swords. Now she barely were able to hold her specially made staff that was made especially light just for her. It served also as her walking stick for when she felt tired. And there was also her trusted hovering chair. Making her way to it, she sat on it, and placed her left hand on the crystal on the left side.”Float, Float, Float.” She said, casting the magic on the chair. It was ingenious idea to use crystals made with magic to hold magic for longer. Casting 3 float magics in succession on the crystals held it in the air for about a day and she could always cast it again if she needed. Using the small control lever on the right handle, she made it move and exited her room. She had to leave soon… she had promised mister Tidus to await the arrival of the new striker for the team since Vidina broke his leg. Even though her dreams of becoming a player and a warrior were over, she still helped with the team. She helped with managing the team paperwork and also with the training. It turned out her ability to magically propel the balls at speeds equal and greater than the best players proved quite useful with the training. It was originally idea of mister Tidus though, something about how they used machina to train from where he came from. She never understood what exactly he meant by that though.
Still there was time before the airship was going to arrive , so Naisha had to proceed with her magic training. It wasn’t the fastest way to do it like this, in front of a big book, but her teacher made her understand that it was a good thing to not always rely on the brute force that came naturally with the black magic. The naturally understood combat spells such as fire, wind, water, ice and etc… the –ira and the –aga spells were useful combat wise, but magics created by precise study and control were just as important. It was that teaching that led to her able to control wind to the point of helping the team. Right now she was working on a way to extinguish fires without having to use water or to freeze the burning thing. It showed quite the promise. Eventually she noticed the team was gathering to go meet the new striker, so she made her way outside to join them.
The trip to the beach where the airships and the sea ships arrived took a while. It was a good thing her chair was hovering cause if she used wheels it was going to be very uncomfortable. She watched as the airship arrived and landed… When this blitzball tournament started, she was going to leave with the team to observe the tournament, afterwards she planned to go on a journey across the world. Naisha stood somewhat behind the Aurchons so she was mostly hidden. She noticed the passengers leaving the airship and then heard the scream. "It's Gippal!!! " Naisha’s eye twitched… so this was the new striker that Tidus arranged. She was angry… at both Tidus for not mentioning this fact and at Gippal for not appearing in 5 bloody years… 5! Using her staff to stand from the chair, the Aurchons nearest to her tried to help her, but she waved her hand in her anger to stop them. Even TIdus saw her angry glare at him, but she didn’t look at him long enough to see his reaction. While Gippal was busy dealing with the cheering teenage girls, she took the blitzball from one of the Aruchons. Taking hold of it in her left hand, she quickly pointed at Gippal.” Winds of moonless sea, gather and become a strong gust.”She chanted her spell, as the ball was propelled towards Gippal with speeds about just a little above Vidina himself kicks it.
The sudden burst of activity of raising from her chair, to grabbing the ball made her take some few deep breaths as she used her staff for support.”You bastard, you have some nerve to show your face here just like that after all that time!”She shouted, still taking deep breaths. Then she turned towards Tidus."You too... You should have said something!"

Bohdan stared intently at the dock as the ship he was on drew closer to the island of Besaid. He couldn't afford to take an airship here on his extremely limited budget, and had just spent several days mostly inside of a cramped room on a boat. He was eager to get off of the ship and stretch his legs, spending so long without being able to explore had made him anxious. The ship docked and he made sure to be at the front of the line, the other passengers thankfully gave him plenty of space. He dis-boarded and walked onto the shore. The breeze felt nice, and something about the island of Besaid said 'new beginnings.' Bohdan took notice of a group of girls crowding around a blitzball player and watched for a moment while he prepared to head into town.

A slow yawn made itself known in the open fresh sky, the tropical trees gingerly rustling in the wind. Although Besaid had certainly grown over the many years, it still had its forests. Sure they were still populated with monsters, but they were nice to have around none the less. Alex had enjoyed lying in the grass on the cliff that led to a large pool of water below. It was her favorite spot to get away from everyone and just relax. Today there were suppose to get a new striker for the Aurochs and she couldn't help but wonder who it could be. The newest couch but known face, Tidus, had decided to keep the team in the dark on who it was. It was a surprise apparently. The tall woman couldn't help but try and guess who it was, but it was quite difficult. Tidus could pretty much get any player if he asked so it was hard to guess who exactly. Whomever it was she just hoped they weren't some jackass with a large stick up their holy hole.

Her blue eyes were closed as she continued to rest their before grumbling as she felt a light nudge to her shoulder. "What?" She barked irritably, cracking her right eye open to see who exactly was bothering her. It was one of her teammates, the goal keeper Rid. A short black haired man about the same height as herself, skinny but toned. He wore the uniform while she herself wore her regular everyday outfit.

"Geez Miss Crimson Valefor, what do you think? We are supposed to meeting with the team at the beach to greet our new striker. Couch will scold you if you don't show up and at least try and be friendly miss cranky pants. Plus remember just lying here in the open isn't a great idea? We rather not lose our star protecter now eh?" He smirked, his emerald eyes glinting in amusement.

Alex scoffed slightly. "Ah shut up. Is it that time already? Fine, fine I'll get over there if it will make you happy. I was curious on meeting the newbie anyways." She muttered as her arms stretched out over her head while her legs stretched the other way. Soon, she rolled back then lept up, landing neatly on her feet as she gazed toward the path to the Besaid docks. "Race ya there eh?" She smirked before jetting off, her long legs carrying her as her crimson hair whipped the air wildly.

She heard her teammate yell about unfairness, but she didn't slow her pace. By now, Luca was probably packed with new arrivals. Good thing she was quite tall, it will make spotting everyone a little easier. She just hoped Tidus won't be too upset about her being late. Ah well.

Besaid Docks

When she arrived there, she found her fellow teammates easily, waving a little as she moved through the crowd, her hands gingerly pushing others aside to make room for her. "Hey are they here yet?"She asked before watching her couch grin innocently, which meant that they were. Arching a curious eyebrow, the tall woman glanced over the crowd to see some squealing fan girls fond over a guy about as tall as her shoulder with striking white hair and red eyes. Features that were easily distinguished to one possible person. "You got him on our team Couch? I should of known... Well better go save him." She mused before pushing her way through the crowd.

But before she could get to him, suddenly she saw a ball propelled at the white haired man and the tall woman's blue eyes turned to the cause. Of course, it was Naisha. Who seemed quite angry about the whole thing and was busily yelling at both Gippal and Tidus. Alex rolled her eyes a little as she moved over to the magically inclined girl and lightly patted her on the back.

"Geez Nai, go a little easy on them. The can't help that their dummies." Alex smirked in amusement before moving closer to Gippal.

"Okay people give the man some breathing room! Shoo! Outta the way you little birds!" Alex shouted loudly, her shouts always carried and sounded fierce. Making her way to new striker, she continued to shoo fans away either by yelling or glaring. Looking down at him, she smirked slightly before patting his head.

"Hey Little Gip! Long time no see!" Alex greeted nonchalantly yet still trying to be friendly. It had been some time since she seen Gippal, five years maybe? He used to come very often when they were kids and she remembered practicing Blitzball as well as playing swords with him.

"Guess you know now how much you were missed in your absence. And maybe made some people pissed eh Nai?" Alex grinned a little.

Three years, fifteen days... And two and a half weeks I'd like to say since I left home... Yet almost every night that I'm here I have odd dreams... Perhaps this is what others call "fate" or "Destiny". A male stared up in a hut, he was grooming his hair a bit with a rectangular brush his mother gave him. Upon sitting up he was greeted by his care taker.

"Ooh... Good morning Rohzar" The male said with a slight lisp; not by intention, but simply because things rolled out they way they do. The care taker looked to be in his mid twenties, wore a green tunic as he had his hair braided back with feathers in it, his tan skin seeming to shimmer from the light for what would be considered an entrance. He reached his large hand out and helped the younger one from his bed.

"Go bathe. New faces will be here. Ones you're not familiar with. Not that you speak to many... But first... I want you to do your daily exercises. Work the heart, the muscles, and eat. Then finally bathe." Rohzar had a heavy tone to his voice that implied there was urgency; then again he was the boy's care taker for a reason. The tanned man left the hut to give the boy his space.

The Half Ronso began to do a set of push ups, fifty to be exact. Why do I never get use to this... he thought.
By time he had finished, his shoulders popped from the exercise. Next was the sit ups, his stomach began to hurt, this was nothing new. Next was a set of three levels of crunches, then two hundred leg twirls. By time he was done he was sore even before his day was starting. His heart was racing, but it was because of his obvious routine.

It wasn't long before the tanned care taker returned with roasted meat as well as a potassium filled beverage from the blending of many fruits. Cassius nodded in appreciation as he began to eat what was offered. He particularly liked the threaded and spiced meat; it had an exquisite flavor that he was not used to in Luca, mostly because he was particularly picky about what he ingested. And finally, he slammed his beverage before receiving a change of clothes.

He nodded thankfully, not particularly not needing to give words to the care taker. In his hands he held his folded clothes, a towel, scent stones, a mix of herbal shampoos from Luca that his mother sends once a month, and his Atelier, which was a heavy piece of equipment that greatly resembled a large handgun with multiple dials.

He walked into the bright sun light, jogging as he ran down to the lake area that was not far from the beach.
He undressed as he dived into the water; his pours were already open as he than watched the scent stone release a cleansing foam which he applied to himself, pulling all dirt and minerals from himself before lastly washing his hair with the shampoo.

After he was done bathing, he dried himself off as quickly as possible as he heard a loud ruckus from the beach... Now he understood why he was told to be quick. He placed the Atelier's tip into the water as he pressed the toggle above the handle, it began to pull the minerals and expelled cleaning supplies into the machine, to which where clustered into one gem that slid of a tube from the Atelier.

He examined the gem before placing back into the tube before toggling the "division" function. The machine rumbled before there was three other gems. One of which was just the concentrated cleaning supplies, just in a condensed form, next to it was a bright blue water gem, then a brown earth gem from the soil.

He placed the Atelier on his Holster with the gems in respectful slots. "Right... Back to the village..."

Before he could move too far from the girls he heard a hissing sound getting louder, he looked to his right to see a Blitzball coming straight for his face. He didn't have a chance to react, Not even to tense his face muscles....like that would have helped. the last second felt like ten, as the ball slammed into his face and with enough force not to send him flying back, but to slam straight to the ground, as if a bag of sand landed on top of him. Shrieks could be heard from the girls around him as they all huddled around him to see if he was alright. Before he could even ask who did that he heard,

”You bastard, you have some nerve to show your face here just like that after all that time!”

he let out a grunt of pain as he realized who it was... he deserved that. He felt two massive hands grab him by the armpits and lift him up and his head flopped to the side to look at Urick and said with a slight confused tone. " You put yourself between me and some girls but when a Ball is aimed at my face with violent intent you don't bat an eye."

Urick looked at him for a moment with a blank look, then simply shrugged. At which Gippal said, "Some 'bodyguard' you are, But with Naisha I guess I understand." Urick simply nodded a few times. as he finally managed to get back onto his own footing, holding his head he looked to see Naisha now yelling at Tidus. Despite the fact she was tiny and frail looking...but when she was angry...it was enough to scare the big guy.

He then saw Alex walking towards them, it was hard to miss the fiery red hair and the woman as tall as Urick over the crowd.

"Okay people give the man some breathing room! Shoo! Outta the way you little birds!" Alex shouted loudly, her shouts always carried and sounded fierce. scaring away many of the girls. she continued to them and as she reached them she looked down at him, she smirked slightly before patting his head. With him wincing with each pat.

"Hey Little Gip! Long time no see!" He nodded in agreement

"Guess you know now how much you were missed in your absence. And maybe made some people pissed eh Nai?" Alex grinned a little.

At which he pushed his hand against his forehead trying to use pressure to ease the pain "yeah I got that loud and clear." he said with a pained smile. He looked back to Urick only to find him scratching the back of his head, finding something very interesting with the bottom of the airship. Gippal blinked a few times before looking back to Alex. "Good to see you, it's gunna be interesting not having to play against you for once." He smiled after he finally was not dizzy anymore. He then glanced at Urick again and looked him in the eye before pointing back at Urick, looking towards Alex again. "Also Urick says hello, and says you look fantastic as always." He smirked and said, "Scuse me, i have to put out a fire before it gets worse."

At which Urick stiffened up and glared at the back of Gippal's head for a moment as he made his way towards Naisha before looking to Alex and giving a small smile and a nod.

Gippal approached Naisha with his hands up...just in case another ball might fly at him and said, "Hey there..." He smiled while pointing at his nose which was bleeding slightly. "looks like your aim is still right on." He chuckled slightly before saying. "Look i'm sorry for not stopping by in the last few years, I've been really busy with work and trying to make it on my own with out dad's help." Which was true... he didn't want to blab the real reason just yet. He didn't want to ruin the surprise he was working on. "Can you forgive me?"

Alex couldn't help but snicker as the ball directly landed into Gippal's face and effectively knocked her childhood rival on his ass. It was amazing how strong Naksha's magic had gotten, almost just as good as any Blitzball player throwing arm, maybe even better. As Urick helped Gippal up who rubbed his face in a attempt to rid the pain, the tall red head couldn't help but smirk. Her blue eyes looked to Urick who seemed to be looking at the bottom of the airship for some reason or another.

When Gippal addressed how they were on the same side now, Alex couldn't help but let out a smirk and a soft laugh. "Yeah, bet you're glad. Won't have me landing hard tackles on you anymore. At least, in the game." she smirked, lightly punching his shoulder. Firm enough for him to feel it, but it was definetly just like a tap on the shoulder compared to her full throttled punch. Gippal probably wouldn't appreciate it if she also knocked him on his ass.

It was then Gippal looked to Urick, pointed at him, and seemed to generally translate what Urick was thinking apparently before excusing himself to quell the flames of rage from their friend. Alex rolled her eyes but simply smirked and watched. "Careful not to get a fireball to the ass, not saving it for ditching me." she snickered before looking to Urick.

"So. Is that glare at him saying I don't look fantastic?" Alex said, at first, her expression serious but soon returned to the amused grin and lightly patted the big muscular man's back.

"Geez, I see you got bigger, but you're still the shy teddy bear. Makes you easily teasible for us you know? So hello to you too Uri." Alex greeted her other childhood friend whenever he visited with Gippal.

Urick and Gippal were always quiet compared to Alex, but Urick took it to another level. Boy hardly spoke unless it was absolutely neccessary, and it was usually Gippal who just seemed to mind read because the cousins seemed to have such a strong bond that could probably compete with one of that of a summoner and her Aeon. He always a sweet shy boy though. Gippal usually always claimed Urick was calm, but Alex just saw him being a bit on the nervous side. Maybe Urick just felt differently around Gippal.

The red head hummed as she moved closer so their chests were just about touching. Her right hand moving above their hands and seemed to measure any difference between their height. He had grown a lot apparently. She was only a inch taller maybe. It was a bit rare seeing anyone even close to her height. Still, Urick still beat her in the sheer muscle mass. Alex herself was well toned and had muscle, but was quite slender and tinier in comparison to anything other than height.

"Damn, you grew again. What do you eat over at Zanarkand? Behemoths?" Alex hummed before launghing and casually wrapping a arm around his neck to drape it over his shoulder.

"Hope you've been having fun with Little Gip. Doesn't act like it, but I bet he gets just about as much trouble as I do. You got your work cut out for you." she smiled brightly, watching the crowd disperse a bit after the fiery red head shooed them off.

Scanning the area for any possible fiends, her bright blue eyes catch sight of a Ronso seeming to look at the scene while seeming to prepare to move on. She also saw a distant figure over by the lake area. It was a little difficult to see in this distance but her eyes narrowed a little in examination.

"....the heck is that? A cat person? Someone cosplaying or something?" she hummed. Debating if she should investigate or not. Usually she would but her two friends did just arrive and they were suppose to greet them with a welcoming party.

“They may be dummies, but that doesn’t count as an excuse…” Naisha replied when Alex patted her on the back. The mage liked the red head, but she was too lenient sometimes. The way Gippal disappeared for 5 years without a warning or a single word was deserving more than just being hit with a blitzball.

"Hey there..." Gippal smiled while pointing at his nose which was bleeding slightly. "looks like your aim is still right on." Naisha’s eye twitched again.” Are you trying to get me to hit you also with my staff? Of course my aim is still right on. I may not be able to play or to throw the ball normally, but I’m still practicing every single day.” She stated, still using her staff as a support.” You know, I help the team with their training now, well you saw how my magic throw works. Also prepare to call me manager, cause I do most of the paperwork too… cause someone is too busy playing around all day *cough*” She stated throwing a look at Tidus. Who while being excellent trainer and player… well just didn’t have the mind for paperwork.

“Forget not showing up! You didn’t send a single message for the whole 5 years!” She shouted, which caused her to start breathing heavily again.” What? You didn’t get the time to record even a brief message sphere to say you are okey!? We had to go ask Lady Yuna to contact your parent’s to even learn if you are still alive!” She continued to shout, forcing her to breathe more and more heavily. Eventually she was forced to reach towards her chair so she can take a seat.

“Seriously… This is the last time…” She said, finally starting to return her normal breathing.” Next time you pull something like this, when I see you, you better have good protection cause instead of a blitzball you are going to be met with a Firaga.” She said and a smile appeared on her face. Then she threw another harsh look at Tidus.” You aren’t escaping this unscratched though… as a punishment I’m going to leave you to boil in your own sauce… I have a pile of paperwork that needs to be done and I’m not going to do it for you this time… And don’t you dare ask lady Yuna like you did last time.” She threatened the trainer.

“I do hope you have interesting stories to tell for all that wandering…” She finally said, looking at Gippal.

AIRSHIP over Besaid - Raphael and Esther

"Daddy look!" echoed the excited, cheerful voice of a little girl in Raphael's eardrums, a voice which gave onto him harmonious joy. Raphael's eyes opened immediately, the large, feathered old man sitting upright not a moment after, gazing around his airship cabin in a slight panic before he could clearly see his daughter at the side of the bed, a look of concern on her face from how he had got up so abruptly. Esther was a short young female, with waist length, elegant and thick glistening white hair, crystal light blue eyes, and elegant and smooth caucasian skin, anyone could mistake such a girl for an angel and wouldn't even think twice about it. Her eyes brought a wave of comfort over Raphael, causing him to crack a small, pleasant smile, and in return, his loving daughter beamed with a smile easily three times as joyful and jubilant, the exultant young daughter melting and tugging heartstrings in but an instant.

Raphael raised his human hand out and patted her head gently and calmly, causing Esther to tilt her head in a motion of cute and adorable confusion before she giggled in joy and launched at her father, hugging him as tightly as she possibly could, whilst stray pyreflies danced and floated around them, a moment of peace once more, as it has been for them for years... Aside from Raphael having to take care of some... curious cats to stay living, and to keep their prying eyes off the little girl whom would never age.

Raphael let out a slightly pained cough, prying his daughters grasp off him, smiling at her at all times, to reassure her.

"Esther, I love you too...! Come on, daddies not as tough as he use to be...!" Raphael wheezed, scratching his neck a little embarrassingly, only for Esther to poke him mischievously.

"No you're not! Nothings tougher than daddy!" She heartily complimented, before sitting off the bed and looking outside, returning to gaze at her father immediately afterward, Raphael knew there was something she wanted to show him, and to make her daughter happy, Raphael stood up and gazed out the Airship window, to the beautiful beaches of Besaid and it's glorious Sphere Stadium. Raphael couldn't help but feel happy, his daughter always loved watching Blitzball, it truly was a sport which would bring people together.

"It's beautiful Esther... Isn't it?" Raphael voiced, looking down to his darling daughter, whom stared right back up to him and replied, with an answer he was expecting, her voice as optimistic and upbeat as ever.

"Mmmhm! Are we going to land at the beach?!"

"Yeah." Raphael returned reassuringly, gazing at Besaids gorgeous scenery, having to bend his back somewhat due to his height, and whilst he bent to get a better look, Esther wasted no time bombarding her father with questions.

"So... We can play on the beach too?!" She perked excitedly, staring at her father, hoping she would get to enjoy her time at the beach before the big Blitzball game. Raphael just looked at her and winked.

"Would I be a father if I said you couldn't?" He asked, before chuckling lightly, causing his daughter to once again hug him tightly. Raphael wished the two could have moments like this forever, it would feel wonderful for it to be so.

"Yay!" Esther beamed, hoping up and down like children do when they're overjoyed, Raphael was greatful for her over excited nature, and he was so happy she was with him now... And would forever be. Esther skipped toward the door, only for Raphael to quickly approach and pat her on the head to stop her kindly, speaking up.

"Hold on,Esther... gotta wait for the Airship to land, daddies going to check with the pilot, be a good girl now and wait for me, would you...?"

"O- okay!" She quickly spoke, before sitting on the bed the two shared during their trip to Besaid. Raphael turned away from his daughter and opened the door to the cabin and walked out, and as soon as the door closed behind him, his smile had all but faded, his face scowled, his anger showed, and he gazed at the floor for a moment... Those feelings of dread will never truly leave him. Raphael aggressively walked to the open, to view the world from the open deck, with a frigid breeze pushing against his face, not as windy as he was expecting, but that was reassuring, he'd hate for Esther to get blown back by it... He wouldn't let even the air push her, not if he had anything to say about it. His hands clasped onto the bars which lined the outer edges of the deck, so he wouldn't fall if the airship took a wrong turn.

"Excuse me... sir?" A voice weakly squeaked to his left, causing Raphael to turn quickly, his scowl never leaving his face.

"What..." He berated, only to see a airship attendant great him, a boy, no older than sixteen possibly, his frame was lanky, weak, fragile, one clean punch could snap his jaw in two no doubt, but he had no need to approach with such behaviour, not yet.

"I- it's nothing" He weakly spoke, frightfully taking a step back. "I- it's just I- w- we were wondering if you would like a d- drink before l- landing?"

Raphael noticed his legs wobble, poor piss ant, kid was probably going to end up shitting himself if he had to stay any longer looking at him, and so, Raphael decided to let the little kid go, all he needed was a single word.

"No."

Raphael turned away, and returned back toward his cabin, he hated being away from Esther, but the thoughts in his head clouded him, sometimes a moment alone is nice, but sometimes some people don't let that happen. On his way back to the cabin, Raphael noticed that the door to the room was open, and Esther was standing outside, looking around curiously, walking down in the opposite direction of Raphael, most likely trying to find him when she accidentally bumped into one of the other passengers.

"Hey!" The passenger grunted. Giving Esther an aggressive and threatening expression, causing Esther's smile to flip to a frown and an expression of fear, and for a moment, Raphael's world halted... And without consequence, he bolted forward.

"Watch where you're going you little b-" Was all the man could let out before his jaw felt the power of cold hard black steel against it, a rough and painful crack echoed from the mans chin as Raphaels mechanical fist plunged into it, breaking it in a single motion whilst knocking the man on his back in agony and on cue, Esther gasped in shock, looking up at her father, who had the eyes of a devil.

"Aaarh! M- mah jaugh! W- waugh tuh fugh?!" Was all he could spit out, before Raphaels mechanical hand clasped around his neck, chocking him tightly, Raphael didn't speak, he just choked, and choked, intending fully on killing the man for daring to speak so ill to his daughter, his life was forfeit, or would have been if not for Esthers hand grasping onto his arm, causing his bloodrage to subside almost instantly, staring at his scared and sad daughters eyes.

"P- please let go of him daddy! H- he didn't do anything wrong! P- please!"

Esthers eyes sweltered with tears... Raphael couldn't handle those, his hand quickly let go of the mans throat, and like Esther his eyes teared up as well, stuttering the next words out of his mouth.

"I-... I'm sorry...!" looked down, he made his daughter upset... What was he going to do to fix this one? He shivered and wiped his tears, not deserving to look at Esther after what happened.

"Daddy...! Come back to the room! Y- you were a bad boy!" She boomed authoritatively. Raphael nodded and stood up, holding his daughters hand, he proceeding back into their cabin to calm down with both sitting on the side of the bed, but before Raphael could speak, Esther hugged him... This would have to do, as the two kept silent until their landing...

The sound of the vibrant blue Chocobo's clawed feet as it hit the ground reached up to greet a the ears of the cloaked figure on its back. There, in the distance, rested Besaid. There, she would find what she was looking for. Memories of another person or another being called to her there. Somehow, she would find them. All she had to do was listen, and listen closely.

The cloaked figure leaned forward against the breeze that came with the sprinting chocobo's stride. With its rare color, the chocobo would certainly stand out to the medium sized village below, though that would be perfectly alright. She was never one for stealth and preferred to make herself known. Below, she could see members of the village bustling about their days. With any luck, she would not meet any resistance.

The woman on the chocobos back held on tightly as the chocobo made its way toward the gates. It let out a shrill 'TWEEWEEWEE!' as it saw other people, being the sociable bird it was, and hopped down the cliffs edge rather than taking the convenient path laid out for travelers.

"Ngh...!" The cloaked rider dug her heels into the birds side to keep from falling off as it bounded down its shortcut. "Silly bird..." Without waiting for the rider to pull its reigns, it began again again at a sprint... but not towards the gates like she had wanted, but to the beach and the docks. "Mercury!" She hissed, trying to reign it in. Then the rider looked up to see a large crowd of people gathered on the beach by some blitzball players of some kind... and near one of the players, someone was throwing around a blitzball.

Oh no, not again.

tch tch Tch Tch TCH TCH TCH TCH

The chocobo's feet patting the sand only went faster as it leaped over the large group of people, flapping its tiny flightless wings fruitlessly, luckily not hurting anyone as it hopped over the majority of the crowd and ran full speed at the blitzball player talking to two other girls who had thrown the ball at him in the first place, all the while singing a loud, echoing and triumphant "TWWEEWEEEEEEEEE!" Knowing what came next, the rider closed her eyes tightly and waited for the inevitable.

@AerandirIt came to a dead stop just before it hit the player, flinging the rider who took full force of the momentum straight off of the chocobo and barreling into the player. She and the blitzball player would topple over each other down to the waters edge where the momentum would finally grind to a halt. Up on the shore, the chocobo gingerly picked up the blitzball that had hit the player with its oversized beak before tossing it in the air and trying to play with it.

"So. Is that glare at him saying I don't look fantastic?" Alex said, at first, her expression serious but soon returned to the amused grin and lightly patted him on the back. At which he stuttered but didn't have a chance to say that wasn't it... it was for Gippal leaving him alone with Alex.

"Geez, I see you got bigger, but you're still the shy teddy bear. Makes you easily teasible for us you know? So hello to you too Uri." He only smiled slightly and nodded a few times... it was true, he was utterly shy... and he was always teased about it. He tried to overcome it but it was pathetic he couldn't especially infront of her. How he wished he had Gippal's confidence.

Alex moved closer to him so their chests were just about touching. At this point he was freaking out, and starting to sweat. Luckily he could pull it off to it being hot but his eyes went wide when her right hand moving above their heads and seemed to measure any difference between their height. "Damn, you grew again. What do you eat over at Zanarkand? Behemoths?" Alex hummed before launghing and casually wrapping a arm around his neck to drape it over his shoulder.

At this point he must surely have been getting a little red in the face. He didn't dare try to attempt to look away or what ever thinking it would only attract her to the issue.

"Hope you've been having fun with Little Gip. Doesn't act like it, but I bet he gets just about as much trouble as I do. You got your work cut out for you." she smiled brightly, At which he seemed to calm a little... she did have a wonderful smile. He forced himself to muster the courage to say something.

"....the heck is that? A cat person? Someone cosplaying or something?" she hummed. He looked into the distance as well and saw who she was looking at. It was strange the person was a human, but almost looked like they were trying to be a Ronso... at thinking that he did notice a Ronso watching them. It was strange even in this age to see a lone Ronso.

He cleared his throat, then looked at her from the corner of his eye since she was still hanging her arm around his neck,"We... could always go and check it out." His voice was deep and soft, as it was rarely used. "Gippal should be fine..." He gulped and started to sweat more, he did it. he finally spoke to Alex with out being prodded into doing so. Though he started to become worried what she would say.

------------
He winced as Naisha started tearing into him. He knew this would have come. He just got so into his work and to keep his promise he made many years before. Yeah he was horrible in keeping touch he didn't even try and contact his parents... usually his mom forced his father to send soldiers to find him to make sure he was still living.

He rubbed the back of his head as she continued on about saying next time it would be worse. Which he knew it would. She finally ended her rant with “I do hope you have interesting stories to tell for all that wandering…” looking towards him. He nodded, "Well seeing I have five years worth of traveling saved up I'm pretty sure I can keep you interested for a bit. Even embarrassing ones to sweeten the pot." He said with a smile, hoping to see her smile. But before he could say anything he heard a sqwak from a Chocobo, turning his head to see a blue Chocobo Barreling down at him. "Son of a..." He didn't have a chance to finish the sentence when the Bird skidded to a stop but the rider came flying over and into him.

Letting out a grunt as the rider slammed into him he hit the ground hard again, but this time he rolled with the rider down into the water. As soon as they stopped rolling he let out a sigh of pain and relief. He realized the rider laying on top of him was a woman, and even with the water as warm as it was, he could tell she was freezing to the touch. He cleared his throat, "Are you alright miss?"

Urick Shook his head when he saw Gippal slammed into the water. He always had these types of things happen to him....mostly here in Besaid actually. He could hear the teenager girls moan as they too notice the rider was a woman, overhearing one of them saying how lucky the woman was. Teenagers... truly weird.

Alex watched as Urick once again seemed to get nervous, seeming to sweat quite a bit and turn red in the face. The big guy was always so silly and nervous it seemed. Though as the muscular man finally managed to talk, Alex blinked her blue eyes toward him before releasing her arm from around his neck. Gloved palms clamping Urick's face and effectively trapping it between them.

"Holy ancestors you actually talked on your own without me making you! Guess the city really was good for you! Now I just need to teach you to be louder." Alex laughed, smiling even brighter before releasing her childhood friend and heading the direction to the catman, hands behind her head. Her sword swinging along with her hips.

"But yeah, you're right, Nai won't burn him to ash." Alex said before turning her head as she saw a blue Chocobo come charging out before halting. The rider effectively slamming into Gippal and caused both to fall in the water.

The red head gave a blank stare at the scene before slightly snickering. "Looks like Gip's luck hasn't changed much. Hard to see why the girls are so into him when they don't have any idea about this." she said before glancing toward the Gippal fanbase and Urick seeming to not understand their fangirness.

"Awe come one, their just a little jealous cause they can't get close to their idol. Imagine if the one you got a crush on was being held by someone else. Bet even you would get a little wired." Alex chuckled teasingly as she shrugged her shoulders and kept walking.

"Mhmm but some fans can be a little too hardcore. Those are the only ones who approach me. Gets a little weird. Cottonhead is lucky to have you." she chuckled before reaching the cliff by the lake and looking down upon it, looking to clearly see the mysterious person.

On closer inspection, it was a boy who seemed a bit on the frail side. His ears and tail were definetly Ronso and they didn't look fake either. How odd, she hadn't ever seen anything like this. For some reason, the tall woman felt a ethereal pull to this man. Or one she didn't want to be near. Such confliction, it was weird. Other than the few obvious things, he seemed fairly normal. He definetly wasn't local or she would know.

"Hey buddy! Here to check out the island? See you found the lake already." Alex shouted, her voice clear and leaving soft echoes to bounce off the walls, with a friendly grin.

Bohdan walked into the village after decided that there was nothing in particular to interest him near the docks. He thought about what he should attempt to do. The point of this trip was to better himself, so find a sparring partner, maybe? He was already a fairly adept fighter though, so visit the temple, perhaps? Was there any other way he could go about educating himself here? He sort of just wandered for a few minutes, trying to decide what would be the best option, and that was when he noticed Rohzar. "Hmm... that's something one doesn't see every day..." Bohdan approached Rohzar. "Excuse me... sir." Having never really spent a great deal of time in civilization, Bohdan was poor with niceties, and really at anything but being blunt. "Am I correct in assuming you have our blood? I've never met someone who did, save for other ronso."

The ears of the male flickered up as he reached for his handcannon.
What sort of beast of nat- oh... Just a women... A loud one.

Cassius simply waved back with his left hand before placing his device back in it's holster. He had nothing to say from where he was that she could hear, thus he walked back onto the village path. If she chose to meet him; he'd then converse with her, but aside from that he was not about to deviate from his daily routine.

Just ahead of him he saw a Ronso headed to the village; which seemed bad for him seeing as most disliked him in terms of his blood. Rather than make his attention known, he followed slowly. As a result he simply pondered why so many people were running about. From what he could tell, either someone important was arriving, or some sort of party; regardless he didn't care enough to make his presence known.

Upon entering the village, he saw the Ronso heading to his caretaker, he followed closely before crouching down by his hut, holding his weapon in case anything bad were to happy; strangers made him uneasy away from the convenient store.

Rohzar's gaze met the Ronso as he stood up, his legs crackling from tension; possibly due to some side activity.
His arms bulged a bit, part of his arms having scratches and cuts of some sort. No ring anywhere on his fingers, so it could be assumed he was unwed, or simply didn't display it so publicly.

As the Ronso spoke, his eyes averted to Cassius who was watching from the distance.
"Half blood you mean. Yes, he is under my care, but if you wish to harm him. I'd suggest taking your business else where." Rohzar's eyes somewhat became cold.

With that, Cassius walked out, harms crossed. "I am capable of defending myself." He spoke up.
He than looked at the Ronso with curious eyes. "Why do you wish to see me? Most Ronso are disgusted by how I look, and others look with confession, yet this village was accommodating. All I ask is you don't bring them harm because of my welfare. I had to ban some customers from where I'm from because of it." He somewhat chuckled at the last bit; it was a fond memory, so much so he couldn't help but crack a small smile.

Bohdan tilted his head. His weapon wasn't drawn, shouldn't that be proof enough that he meant no harm? "No... I meant only what I said, that I have never met a half ronso before. I'm here because I'm seeking knowledge, knowledge that I thought I might get from speaking with such a person. It seems I have it now. I knew that my people didn't treat partial ronso with much respect, but I did not know that it was this bad." he said.

“…”Naisa had a very blank expression as the chocobo came running, then halted to a stop and threw it’s rider straight into Gippal, having them both roll around till they reached the edge of the water.”I call that divine justice if you ask me… hehehee” She said with a pleased laugh at the boy’s misfortune. Some of the other blitzball players gave her some strange looks, but quickly looked away when she shot a warning look back. Sitting in her chair, she moved to the edge of the water where Gippal and the girl were.

As she approached she also heard the teenage girls making a fuss about the girl who hit into Gippal being lucky.”Alright that’s it. I’m sick of your noise. All of you, you will leave and stop making annoying noise or I will turn you into wet dogs!” Naisha barked at the teenagers who in return started to protest and talk as if they knew what was going on. “I warned you… water sphere!”She said and formed a ball of water with her magic, a ball she targeted at the annoying yappy girls. Who in return started to run away from the relatively slow moving flying ball of water. Within it she formed it’s magic so it will hover to the girls but disperse, just before it hits them. So the more they ran away from it, the more it was going to stay.” Serves them right…” The mage said with a pleased nod.

“Hey are you two alright?”The mage asked the boy and the girl who were in the water.”Any injuries in need of healing? I still have some healing potions.” Naisha said looking at Gippal. She had a huge smile on her face. It was obvious she was pleased with the boy’s ‘divine punishment’.” Come on, get up and I will help you both dry up.”She said with a smile.

Alora sighed as she took in the sun while walking to the Beach. She loved it here, though the weather and smell of the ocean was the same in Kilika, Kilika had become a bustling city, where Besaid kept it's island village charm. Sadly she would only be here for one more night before they all headed to Luca. But thankfully she managed to see all she wanted, the temple, Lady Yuna and Sir Tidus, along with Sir Wakka and Lady Lulu. She even met some of the Blitzers from the Besaid Aurochs, one of which was Alex the tall and beautiful red headed defender of the team, one who rivaled even the Famous Gippal star striker for the Zanarkand abes. Not that she Actually TALKED to her... just saw her in passing. But the thought of Gippal made her wonder where hewas now, it had been quite a few years since he last played...suddenly disappearing from the spotlight of Blitzball.

As she walked she passed a strange man by a small lake who was fiddling with a gun of some sort. He wasn't paying attention to her as she passed so she didn't say anything...but it was weird he was defiantly a human but had Ronso Ears and a tail. She didn't stare, that would be simply rude. She continued to the beach just in time to see the Airship doors open. She stayed a little back and watched from a distance... not to much later she heard a bunch of girls yell "It's GIPPAL!" Her heart skipped a beat, partially from not expecting the outburst but the other was her little girl crush she had on the star player growing up. On the outside she looked calm and collected, a trait she mastered thanks to her mother. But the inside all those old stupid feelings came bubbling up, here was her chance to meet the star player/ hunk that she and all her friends growing up crushed on.

She watched as he walked through the crowd of fans. He defiantly filled out in lean muscle since she last saw him on his final game. She also noticed the massive man behind him. It must have been Urick, his body guard. It was true he was as big as a ronso. She folded her arms and resisted the urge to run up to him... she was technically on duty after all. It then looked he tried to make his escape as Urick placed himself between the fans and him. Suddenly a Blitzball flew at him. She fully expected him to dodge it, he was of course one of the more agile players in the game... especially escaping the tackle from miss Alex many times. But no he didn't. It slammed into his face with such force she could hear the thud quite clearly from where she stood. She winced and placed her hands over her mouth. She then heard a woman yelling at him, apparently what she gathered from what the woman yelled, she knew Gippal. She looked at the woman holding onto the staff she held so tightly to herself, Alora was surpised that the woman was the one who hit Gippal with such force, she looked so frail. Then after a closer inspection she noticed the staff and guessed she must of used magic.

She watched as Gippal was helped up, exchanging words with Urick, and looking a little pathetic after taking the hit...he must have lost his edge from all these years of not playing. Still he managed to get quickly back onto his own feet, she had to admit. Getting hit with a blitzball underwater would be totally different from getting hit with one out of water. The friction the water would cause would slow the ball down slightly where in the open it wouldn't slow down as much. He quickly made his way towards the woman and surprisingly wasn't like most players who were stuck up and get back at people who embarrass them. He seemed quite on the defensive and after hearing what the woman had to say. (for she was yelling) She quickly understood they were friends before and he even lost contact with her. Well... he defiantly Deserved it then. She giggled at seeing a small woman with such fierceness to make even the Famous Gippal look like he was handling a wild tiger. She would have never of thought he would have acted this way. He seemed so much more human than a star at the moment.

She looked over to where Urick was, and noticed miss Alex talking to him...perhaps the tall woman had a thing for him... she couldn't blame her, he was rather attractive with all those muscles... didn't help he was shirtless...

Suddenly a blue chocobo flew past her with a cloaked rider straight for Gippal and the team. In an instant her sword flashed as she pulled it from her sheath and started running towards them, even though she defiantly might not make it in time. But she stumbled slightly when she saw the chocobo skid to a stop and fling it's rider into Gippal, sending them rolling into the water resting below the rider who she also notice was a woman. She sheathed her sword when she deemed it wasn't intentional, seeing how the chocobo was playing with the blitzball now.

She was surprised though...Superstar Gippal seemed to lack that sort of.... starness...if that was even a word. He seemed more down to earth...if not more clumsy than what he used to be when she watched him play. She couldn't help but smile, what a way to come back to the world of Blitzball. Getting slammed in the face with a Blitzball and being tackled with such force it was a wonder he was still conscious. She then saw the same woman go over to see if they were alright, and get mad and sent a water spell hitting some teenagers, soaking them. She giggled at the site. Defiantly didn't want to get on her bad side.

She then heard Alex yelling "Hey buddy! Here to check out the island? See you found the lake already." She looked to see Alex and the body guard walking towards her...strange the guard didn't seem to be doing anything to help Gippal. Dragging herself back to the point in hand she realized Alex wasn't talking to her but the strange man at the lake behind her. She turned to see the Man simply wave and move on. Well that's rude... Normally when someone starts talking to you you at least say hello and stay for a bit.

She then turned back to Alex and said, "Some people just don't know how to be polite." with a smile. " Hello I'm Alora..." She extended her hand for a handshake, "I am a big fan of you Miss Alex."

Besaid - Raphael and Esther

Eventually the airship had gently proceeded to land on the soft laid sands. Upon landing, many of the passengers shot down the gangplanks, rushing down the pier, heading off down the path to Besaid. Shortly behind everyone else, Raphael and Esther calmly walked, taking in the sea like scent of the water, the warm yet cool breeze of Besaid's air, clean, peaceful plus relaxing in every way. While Raphael took in the sights of the endless waters, he felt his tunic being tugged lightly, upon inspection spotted his daughter eager tugging at his waist, pointing to the sand, with such a beaming smile it was completely incandescent of both love and childish wonder.

"Daddy, Daddy!" Esther eagerly shouted. "Can I got play in the sand now? Please~!" She continued to beg, her words long and drawn out, while she hopped on each leg excitedly, hardly able to contain her childish desire to run off and play, having completely forgotten about the events on the ship. Raphael like before, patted her on the head whilst giving one single nod, causing her to let go, jump in the air, shouting in merry before her little legs sped off to the Besaid beaches, happy to roll around, make sand castles and make cute sand angels in it. She didn't care if people looked, she was having the absolute time of her life, and Raphael enjoyed every moment of joy she maintained, like it was his life force.

Raphael slowly walked down the pier while his eye on Esther, watching from afar and making sure no fiends approached or attempted to assault her, though he wondered if that was even possible, given the fact she was an unsent, one of the departed. In Raphaels mind though, logic like that was useless to him, he would kill a fiend if it even gazed in her general direction, unsent or not, she was alive in his eyes, even if he knew deep down she wasn't, the bond he has with her as a father came first to the logic of this world. Perhaps one day, he would find a way to bring her back into reality, perhaps one day, she would be able to live like a normal person, not get hunted down like she is some sort of monster or beast that needs "cleansing".

Raphael cracked his knuckles, how much he loved summoners back before the calm, noble beings such as Braska, Yuna and others giving it all they had as summoners, living their lives just to give normal people a shot at living in peace for a mere 10 years. Raphael once praised their convictions, but if a summoner tried to "Cleanse" his daughter, he would hold none of his killing intent away, holding no morals in not skinning such people alive to keep his "uncleansed" daughter in the material realm for years to come, it was her desire to come back and be with him, it's her decision, let her live how she wants, that's what Raphael thought.

Whilst Raphaels raven feathered cloak blew in the wind, he stared longingly at his hand and arm made entirely of machina, it was good that the Al Bhed were able to provide him with a better arm than he once had, never having to pay for it or pay it back in some way, they never asked questions about his daughter, he held the Al Bhed in high respect whilst even learning their language as to become closer to them. As for the Ronso, he never had any issues with their race, but never any respects for them so far.

Given that about 10 minutes had passed, Raphael slowly approached his daughter playing merrily, speaking softly and quietly, so only she would hear as he approached her.

"Come on now, Esther, we don't want to miss the game, now do we?"

Esther gazed up like a child always does, with a sad set of eyes and a frown, Raphael was quite use to the formula, children want to play forever, and Esther right now will live forever, she will have all the time in the world to play later, while Raphael wanted to give the whole world to Esther so she could be happy, he had to be firm with her when it came time, he couldn't just let her do everything she wanted, some responsibility would need to be made.

"Come on now, Esther, don't give me those eyes, We can play in the sand after the game. I'l even join you too, would you like that?"

Her expression beamed, and her eyes lit up once more, just as he expected. "Well you make a BIG sandcastle with me Daddy?" She expressed joyfully. "Of course, We'll make a sand castle so big, a behemoth would be like a ladybug to it." Raphael boastfully replied, causing Esther to immediate hop up and hug her dad with delight, giggling cutely before holding onto his human hand, ready to walk on, eager to play later.

Raphael, content in her reaction walked along with her down the long road toward Besaid with little to no effort, the two quickly reached the large village, or rather town, now that it had been increased in size, with its own Sphere too. Esther smiled cheerfully at all the people, the ronso's the humes, Al Bhed, you name it, even some famous people were there, causing Esther to cheer happily, waving at everyone with innocent joy. The two slowly approached the stadium, happy to have each others company.

The riders hood had come down during the roll in the sand, and had somehow in the middle of it all, come to be straddling atop this blitzball player. Slowly, she pushed herself up on her hands that were on either side of the players head, and the people on the beach would be able to now see her snow white skin, sharply contrasting her stark black hair and nearly glowing, icy blue eyes and tips of her hair. She dripped with sea water as she hovered there for a moment, her eyes meeting with the players and hearing his question, but not responding.

She bore no emotion on her face, and appeared to have no reaction to his words at all.

Slowly she rose up, standing tall and walking back into the sand. @rivaan She stopped at the water's edge, looking strongly out of place, like a snowy poltergeist in a tropical island. Beneath her now slightly parted cloak, a dark bikini-like garb could be seen along with the hint of a long scar running down her side. She heard what the girl asked, and in response, closed her eye.

"Not necessary for me."

The mysterious woman brought both her tightly closed fists to her chest, then shot them both down quickly to her sides, palm open. In synchronization, the water on her body froze into tiny ice sickles, and the water that had been absorbed into the cloak was pulled to the outside of the fabric, then shot down with her hands into the sand, leaving her body completely dry. She opened her eyes again, looking to the woman who had offered help to her, and nodded before heading up the beach more. Effectively leaving the player she had bowled over behind without so much as an apology.

@Silver FoxThe redhead girl nearby that had thrown the blitzball in the first place was distracted, but after catching the ball Mercury, her chocobo, was playing with in midair she curled her pale finger like claws on her turned shoulder. The grip was unnecessarily tight, though the mysterious woman didn't seem to notice at all. She leaned her head over the red head's shoulder and looked at her. If the redhead met her gaze, surely a chill would go through her body at how peculiar a spectacle her eyes were.

"May I keep this?"

Her voice was like hot steam on ice, hissing in a way that somehow wasn't malicious. She gestured to the ball the redhead had thrown, holding it up with her free hand.

Finally to be free! Kahl thought as he took off the eye patch and its stuffy presence on his lid. His itching and wincing was finally gone after it got all uncomfortable a day ago. The soft breeze felt nice especially over that covered eye. The sun and the locale was all so wonderful. And yet he was getting the hell out of this place and into the local bar. He walked swiftly from the air strip and into the town proper as he tried to avoid all the other passengers disembarking and mingling there. Perhaps some were talking to relatives and family that lived here. Regardless of that he didn't care outside of that there was a large crowd. There were a handful of kiddies running around as he walked around but it probably due to the blitzball. Something he himself was here to observe although it would be false to call him a lover of the sport.

Five minutes later he'd find himself in the center of village, which at this point seemed like a misnomer given all the activity and people. Eventually he'd find his bar and walk inside. "I'll have a Sour Monkey with a Wiffle," he said, "No wait make it a Purple Sour Monkey with a Wiffle." He placed a good amount of money to pay for it telling the man to keep the change and took the drink to a table and placed it. With needless dramatic flair he took of his longcoat and let flop on the chair adjacent to where he'd be sitting.
