Alex watched the Ronso boy seem to just wave in reply before moving on, causing the red head to snort and roll her blue eyes a little before blinking to look down at another girl, also a red head but with green eyes, who spoke to her. Alex grinned a little at the comment and slightly shrugged.
"Yeah, I'd probably be mad but he was a little bit far and rumor has it he's a bit sickly. Probably can't carry his voice like I can I guess." Alex grinned before blinking a little as the girl introduced herself, said she was a fan, and held out her hand.
Lowering her arms from behind her head, her right hand dropped to her side while her left index finger slightly scratched her cheek. Feeling a little embarrassed. Sure, she did have quite a bit of fans since she was known to be one of the best defenders of Blitzball, but she still felt a little modest when someone came up to her like this. Mentally waving it off, the tall woman grinned and reached out her right hand and firmly gripped Alora's and shook. Firm enough to be a proper strong handshake, but not too hard to cause discomfort or pain. Alex always had unnatural strength and she sometimes forgot about it.
"Drop the Miss ya? Way too formal for me. Nice to meet you Alora. Did you come here for the game? Or sightseeing?" Alex asked with a carefree grin before tensing a little as that odd rider came up behind her and dug her fingers into the tall red head's shoulder.
Turning her cold blue gaze toward the stranger, the mystery woman's voice and eyes seemingly... Oddly unnatural. Alex didn't feel fear or anything, just something that was off. Like with that half Ronso boy. Just something... Off. This time though, the ethereal pull wasn't really present, more like the sense to rip this girl apart. Yet Alex didn't really have a reason too. The weirdo just wanted the ball apparently though Alex wasn't sure why she was the one being asked about. Today just in general felt off she supposed.
Eyes narrowing a little, Alex shrugged the the hand off and crossed her arms over her chest. "If you want it. Though that's Abo's ball before Nai propelled it. Hey Abo! Want to give up the ball?" she called, watching a 5'5 sized dirty blonde man perk up, wearing the Auroch uniform and had the tanned islander skin.
"Ya man! If one of you go out with me for the feast!" he cheered.
Alex stared blankly for a moment before casually bending down and scooping up a pebble in her right hand. Gingerly tossing it up and down a few times before suddenly swirling around and chucking it. The pebble hitting her left fielder right in the middle of his forehead, and sending him flying into the ocean.
"Geez don't you ever shut up?" Alex grumbled before turning her gaze toward the mystery girl. "Take it." she said in a blunt manner before starting to walk back toward the village. "Cottonhead! Nai! Hurry up of I'll eat your share in the feast!" she shouted as she moved along.
Abo soon popped of of the water and rubbed his head. "Ow. Ow. Why's she always got to be so touchy ya?" he muttered.
"You're fault. You shoulda known better." Rid snickered as he walked with the rest of the team.
