Alex watched the Ronso boy seem to just wave in reply before moving on, causing the red head to snort and roll her blue eyes a little before blinking to look down at another girl, also a red head but with green eyes, who spoke to her. Alex grinned a little at the comment and slightly shrugged.

"Yeah, I'd probably be mad but he was a little bit far and rumor has it he's a bit sickly. Probably can't carry his voice like I can I guess." Alex grinned before blinking a little as the girl introduced herself, said she was a fan, and held out her hand.

Lowering her arms from behind her head, her right hand dropped to her side while her left index finger slightly scratched her cheek. Feeling a little embarrassed. Sure, she did have quite a bit of fans since she was known to be one of the best defenders of Blitzball, but she still felt a little modest when someone came up to her like this. Mentally waving it off, the tall woman grinned and reached out her right hand and firmly gripped Alora's and shook. Firm enough to be a proper strong handshake, but not too hard to cause discomfort or pain. Alex always had unnatural strength and she sometimes forgot about it.

"Drop the Miss ya? Way too formal for me. Nice to meet you Alora. Did you come here for the game? Or sightseeing?" Alex asked with a carefree grin before tensing a little as that odd rider came up behind her and dug her fingers into the tall red head's shoulder.

Turning her cold blue gaze toward the stranger, the mystery woman's voice and eyes seemingly... Oddly unnatural. Alex didn't feel fear or anything, just something that was off. Like with that half Ronso boy. Just something... Off. This time though, the ethereal pull wasn't really present, more like the sense to rip this girl apart. Yet Alex didn't really have a reason too. The weirdo just wanted the ball apparently though Alex wasn't sure why she was the one being asked about. Today just in general felt off she supposed.

Eyes narrowing a little, Alex shrugged the the hand off and crossed her arms over her chest. "If you want it. Though that's Abo's ball before Nai propelled it. Hey Abo! Want to give up the ball?" she called, watching a 5'5 sized dirty blonde man perk up, wearing the Auroch uniform and had the tanned islander skin.

"Ya man! If one of you go out with me for the feast!" he cheered.

Alex stared blankly for a moment before casually bending down and scooping up a pebble in her right hand. Gingerly tossing it up and down a few times before suddenly swirling around and chucking it. The pebble hitting her left fielder right in the middle of his forehead, and sending him flying into the ocean.

"Geez don't you ever shut up?" Alex grumbled before turning her gaze toward the mystery girl. "Take it." she said in a blunt manner before starting to walk back toward the village. "Cottonhead! Nai! Hurry up of I'll eat your share in the feast!" she shouted as she moved along.

Abo soon popped of of the water and rubbed his head. "Ow. Ow. Why's she always got to be so touchy ya?" he muttered.

"You're fault. You shoulda known better." Rid snickered as he walked with the rest of the team.

”I call that divine justice if you ask me… hehehee” Gippal heard Naisha say at his misfortune. He also notice her as she moved to the edge of the water where He and the woman were.

”Alright that’s it. I’m sick of your noise. All of you, you will leave and stop making annoying noise or I will turn you into wet dogs!” Gippal couldn't help but smile when he heard her“I warned you… water sphere!” ” Serves them right"

“Hey are you two alright?”The mage asked the boy and the girl who were in the water.”Any injuries in need of healing? I still have some healing potions.” Naisha said looking at Gippal. She had a huge smile on her face. It was obvious she was pleased with the his ‘divine punishment’.” Come on, get up and I will help you both dry up.”She said with a smile.

He looked to the woman again as she rose up to meet his gaze. He was shocked to see her white skin and icy blue eyes. She held no emotion, as if she didn't know what it was. She stood up, leaving him in the water as she walked to shore. Saying to Naisha that she had no need and in a smooth movement the water that soaked her turned to ice and fell. His eyes narrowed at what he saw... All his years of adventuring he saw no spell like that.

He slowly rose as well running his hand through his hair so it wouldn't be in his eyes. He watched as she moved away towards her chocobo. What a strange woman... He slowly made his way to Naisha and smiled, "I think I'll be fine... I don't want to give you the chance to singe my hair like last time" he shook his head, some of the water landing on Naisha.

Looking up as he heard Alex threaten to eat their share. "Besides I rather get to the feast, I'm sure Alex can make good on her threat." He gave a formal bow to Naisha and said "After you m'lady."

-------

Urick stayed silent as Alex talked with another redhead. He studied her and could tell by the way she handled herself she was a seasoned warrior, but not a sword for hire like he and Gippal, structured . She didn't wear a uniform so perhaps The Youth League.

He watched as Alex was humble in dealing with a fan. Not many professional blitzball players acted so humble. But before Aloea could answer Alex, the strange woman who was thrown into Gippal suddenly asked Alex if she could have the ball.

Who was this woman? It seemed the very air around her was chilled by ten degrees. Her expressionless face and tone of voice, it was enough to creep him out a little.

After wards she yelled to Naisha and Gippal threatening to eat their share, he chuckled softly at the thought. He looked to Alora to hear her answer and see if he was right.

"Yeah, I'd probably be mad but he was a little bit far and rumor has it he's a bit sickly. Probably can't carry his voice like I can I guess." Alex grinned after Alora introduced herself, the she Lowered her arms from behind her head, her right hand dropped to her side while her left index finger slightly scratched her cheek. Alex grinned more and reached out her right hand and firmly gripped Alora's and shook. Firm enough to be a proper strong handshake, at which Alora smiled brightly and gave a firm handshake back. Her father taught her you could tell a lot by a persons handshake. Miss Alex handshake was exactly what she expected from the tall strong willed Blitzball player.

"Drop the Miss ya? Way too formal for me. Nice to meet you Alora. Did you come here for the game? Or sightseeing?" Alex asked with a carefree grin which vanished as the odd rider came up behind her and pulled on her shoulder with her fingers to turn her around.

Turning her cold blue gaze toward the stranger, Alex Eyes narrowed a little, shrugged the the hand off and crossed her arms over her chest. "If you want it. Though that's Abo's ball before Nai propelled it. Hey Abo! Want to give up the ball?" she called, at which Alora looked to the team and saw a short man perk up and yell back,

"Ya man! If one of you go out with me for the feast!" he cheered.

Alora's left eyebrow perked up and had a queer look upon her face. Ugh... Men can so stupid at times...most of the time. Very unclassy if you asked her. He should have manned up and just asked her with out the condition. She looked to Alex to see how she would handle it.

Alex stared blankly for a moment at the man before she bent down and picked up a pebble and whirled it at her teammate. The pebble hitting her target right in the middle of his forehead, and sending him flying into the ocean. Alora's eyes widened at the distance she managed to pin point her target... As well at how casually she decided to chuck a rock.... Ok a pebble at her fellow teammate, and how her other teammates didn't even blink.

"Geez don't you ever shut up?" Alex grumbled before looking at the rider again. "Take it." she said in a blunt manner before starting to walk back toward the village. "Cottonhead! Nai! Hurry up of I'll eat your share in the feast!" she shouted as she continued to walk.

Alora never answered her question so she quickly followed, her short legs in comparison to Alex and Urick moved twice as fast. "Well sort of. I was assigned to protect the ship on the way to Luca tomorrow, but I came a little early to meet Lady Yuna and her Guardians, as well as to enjoy the sun and get a little tan. She said with a smile. She realized she forgot to introduce herself to Urick and felt suddenly horrible about it. Looking to him she gave a pained sorry face and said, Forgive me, I didn't shake your hand as I should have. Your Urick correct? Gippals body guard?"

She was sure he would be confused on how she knew him and she gave an embarrassed smile while covering her cheeks" I used to be one of those crazy teenagers who news stalked Gippal when he played for the Abe's. A man of your.... Stature was hard to miss on the spheres. "

She forced herself to look forward. What was happening she was starting to blab too much. Gaaahhhh she yelled inside her head. And quickly composed herself. Despite all her training being next to famous celebrity's was still a new thing for her.

She glanced back at Gippal fading in the distance to see him still talking to the woman in the chair, smiling. Who was that woman that he focused so much on? Interesting, of all the girls surrounding him he would go directly to her.

She looked back forward to Urick to see if he was about to say something.

“Hmmm…?” Naisha made a questioning sound as she watched the girl use what certainly was magic to completely dry herself. But the way she did it was not something the frail girl had seen or heard of before. It was certainly an ice based magic of sorts, but it wasn’t a standard one for sure. As her master Lulu taught her magi came in 2 separate forms: The standardized magic that was commonly known by every black mage and then the more unique magic created personally by different mages. Naisha herself was creating a lot of additional magic spells for her own use so she understood that.’I better keep an eye on this one… there was something suspicious and unnatural about her. With a nod Naisha let the woman go her way.

“Are you still thinking about that incident? That was my first try to create myself a spell!”She retorted about his comment for his brunt before hair.”Besides I’ve gotten a lot better now after all those years. Lady Lulu said that if it was the era before the eternal calm, I was already going to be fit to be a guardian.”She said with a smile.

"Cottonhead! Nai! Hurry up of I'll eat your share in the feast!" The frail black mage heard Alex shout at them. It seemed that Gippal reacted to that threat. Naisha guessed he was hungry from all that traveling. With a smile she made her chair turn. Leaning back in her comfortable chair, she smiled.”Come on, we have not the whole day. If we don’t start moving Alex won’t leave us any food.” Naisha said, slightly turning to look at Gippal and nod towards the handles on her chair. As much as she said she wasn’t going to hurt him anymore for leaving like that, she still was going to use him for a while as punishments.’ Get to pushing!’Was what her eyes were saying and along that she let a small smile to appear on her lips. She was so focused on Gippal that she never noticed that Alex and Urick were talking with someone new.

Hearing the tall woman's response, the rider was satisfied. She let go of the redhead and turned, clucking her tongue to the chocobo who gently padded up to her. In a smooth motion, she mounted its back and tucked the ball into a messenger-bag sack on the side of the saddle. The pale woman pulled her cloaks' hood back over her head and with a gentle squeeze of her heels, rode at a walking pace to the village. Despite the slower pace, the chocobo easily passed the red head that had told her it was alright to have the ball with its long strides. As they passed, the chocobo even turned to briefly nuzzle its massive beak against the amazon woman, a chirping purr vibrating its long throat. It continued on its way with another gentle squeeze of the heels, prompting the blue chocobo to leave the red head behind.

Once she had reached the gates, she passed by the guards who appeared curious of the blue shade of her chocobo, but didn't stop her to ask any questions. She made her way to the stables, where she dismounted and paid a small fee for his care taking. With a gentle, pale hand stroking his beak as a brief goodbye, she left the chocobo's side to make her way through the medium sized village. There was a few unnerved glances in her direction, but most everyone was preparing for the feast that was honoring the blitzball players she had met on the beach and had no time to oggle newcomers. She recalled hearing about some sort of legendary heroes and their children residing in this village, but she knew none of their faces and as her blue eyes shone beneath the shadow of her hood, she recognized none of their faces. At last, she found herself standing in the shadow of the great Besaid Temple. She paused just in front of it and raised her gaze upward to admire the tremendous architecture.

The temple was aged, but not unattractively so. Many plants grew up its walls, but none of them weeds. Some were even crawling flowers that had opened up in the full sunlight of the day. Whoever was now taking care of the temple hadn't left it in total disrepair, but must have observed the small cracks forming in various parts of the stones. Not enough to bring down the structure but enough to make it show its age.

Yes... this was where she needed to be. Like a shadow, the rider moved in silence as she made her way to the Temple's entrance.

Alex listened to as Alora explained, thinking a little. "A guard huh? With me, Gippal and Urick we should be relatively fine but I guess it's expected for them to be cautious. The waters have been a bit restless as of late." she mused thoughtfully. There have been quite a bit of Fiends around, especially in the sea water. So with as many as people that are going to be on the ship, it wasn't surprising that some guards were sent.

Listening Alora speak to Urick about how she used to be quite the little fangirl toward Gippal, Alex huffed a little. "Aaaaawwwe I see. You're a Cottenhead fan. Bet you were surprise to see him not as cool as he seems when he's not blitzing or surrounded by adoring fans. He's really a clumsy goof." she mused, though her tone gruff, she had a amused grin on her face before glancing toward Urick.

"These two always had girls swooning over them. They really don't know how to handle them though. Probably didn't help that I'd always make them train with me or go bug Nai. You two do suck for ditching us without a word like that for five years ya know? If I didn't understand wanting to go out exploring the world and that I'm happy to see you're both not dead, I'd beat the shit outta both of you." Alex said as she mildly glared at Urick and Gippal and she glanced back but soon grinned and shrugged it off and looked to Alora.

"Hey maybe a cute nice girl like you can teach these numbskulls some manners. Me and Nai can't seem to get through to them." She chuckled and grinned teasingly.

It was then the mysterious woman soon passed them, riding the rarely colored blue chocobo. The bird like creature lightly nuzzled its beak against the tall red haired woman. Seemingly trying to say thank you for the ball, in which Alex lightly stroked the top of its head. It was odd seeing a blue chocobo, she's never seen one other than the regular yellow. Alex had always like the creatures and had kind of wanted one as a kid, but it didn't make too much sense to have on in Besaid. Besaid Island didn't really need a chocobo to get around. Watching the woman and chocobo go off to town, she scratched the back of her head.

"Still weird." Alex said before walking into the bustling town. The old temple in sight and the town bustling with people with tables and food for the welcoming party.

"Awesome! Everyone sure went full out! Looks like a lot of good food too!" Alex said a bit eagerly. Her earlier threat was no joke. The tall red head was known, at least in Besaid, for eating as much as a Behemoth. Although her form never changed, she could out eat just about anyone since she was a kid. It usually dumbfounded many but most simply took it was because she had too much energy.

Looking toward the temple, she spotted the mystery woman going inside before humming and glancing between Urick and Gippal. "Hey, you two want to pay a visit to the temple? It's been awhile right?" she asked.

“Are you still thinking about that incident? That was my first try to create myself a spell!”She retorted about his comment.”Besides I’ve gotten a lot better now after all those years. Lady Lulu said that if it was the era before the eternal calm, I was already going to be fit to be a guardian.”She said with a smile.

He grinned and said, "That's great to hear. " he leaned in close to her and whispered. "After what you said a few minutes ago still don't trust you." He smiled more and stood back up

"Come on, we have not the whole day. If we don’t start moving Alex won’t leave us any food.” Naisha said, slightly turning to look at Gippal and nod towards the handles on her chair. ’ Get to pushing!’Was what her eyes were saying and along that she let a small smile to appear on her lips.

He sighed and got behind her and started pushing her back to the village. He looked to urick to see him walking with Alex and another redhead. He shook his head... He wondered how well he was going to fair in the talking apartment. He one Alex would make up for and another it with a girl he didn't know that would be more silent. Which he was worried about. He glanced down at Naisha and asked "so when did you become manager? You weren't one when I was playing last... " he would listen to her answer as the made it to Besaid just behind Urick and Alex and the other short redhead.

He noticed the strange woman walk into the temple and couldn't help but wonder if she said just so she could follow the woman. He looked down at Naisha and thought for a moment before looking at Urick and it seemed they were having yet another one of their conversations in silence again. He sighed and nodded. "Sure why not. "He looked at Naisha again and asked "how bout you you coming?"

---------------------

Urick was still in shock from all that all that was happening. He didn't react at first when Alex was excited about him speaking. She seemed so happy about it, he rubbed his cheeks slightly as he remembered how close she was to him. Shaking his head as he heard the new girl...name Alora finally spoke to him.

She was looking at him she gave a pained sorry face and said, Forgive me, I didn't shake your hand as I should have. Your Urick correct? Gippals body guard?"

His eyebrow raised at her knowing his name, it's happened before but still he wondered.

She gave an embarrassed smile while covering her cheeks" I used to be one of those crazy teenagers who news stalked Gippal when he played for the Abe's. A man of your.... Stature was hard to miss on the spheres. "

At which he looked away and his face reddened slightly. He didn't say a word... he didn't know what to say. He never did. He was always awkward in these situations. Alex then pipped how they've always had girls swooning over them. Then suddenly telling him that he and Gippal sucked for leaving for five years. Also they are lucky she doesn't beat the shit out of them. If only she knew... But he could tell she was over it quickly, which resulted in a sigh of relief.

She then mentioned maybe Alora can teach them some manors... He only needed one redhead able to crack his skull, not two.

Thankfully He didn't have to when they reached the village and Alex asked if they wanted to go to the temple... He had his conversation to convince Gippal to go.

As Gippal was asking Naisha if she wanted he looked forward and saw a Ronso and a.....half ronso, squaring off to spar. He perked up at the sight but seemed torn at which Gippal said, "Easy Urick, You will have your chance, Just ask him for a sparing mach later.

Urick always loved to spar, especially with Ronsos.... it was his specialty, to fight with hands.

Gippal said to Alex and Naisha, "Ever since we visited Mt. Gagazet he has to spar with every Ronso he sees...to better himself.

"What sort of knoledge?" Cassius kept his arms folded as he tilted his head.
He thought perhaps something like magic? The secrets of machinery? Why was the White haired one wanting knoledge from him? Too many questions arisen.

"Ya know, since you're not exactly frail, we could spar, hand to hand as our people do. I might be frail, but my will and determination is not, and maybe we can learn a thing or two about each other." Cassius placed his item pouch in Rohzar's hand, who seemed to smile.

"Good call, your body needs the exercise." Spoke Rohzar.

Bohdan didn't need to be told twice. "It seems I'm being granted a chance to better myself in both ways today, this is good." Bohdan walked out into the sand. He unstrapped his lance and thrust it into the ground to keep it in place. "I accept your challenge, we may begin whenever you are ready." Bohdan had known other ronso who had fought and killed ogre type monsters before. He was much less strong than one himself, but he learned the very basics of hand to hand through his second-hand studying of how the beasts fought, as ronso often did. He put up his fists just as he knew ogres to do.

To the Side Rohzar played very unusual cheerful music from some sort of sphere. "Better give these tourist a show, as well as possibly her lady ship."

Cassius gave a formal bow and put his right foot forward. He raised his arms up, hands open, simply just open palms.
Every other day, he practiced the fundamentals of close quarter combat with Rohzar. He knew anatomy very well as well as his own weaknesses. He smiled a bit eagerly; mostly because he never had anyone to spar with who didn't already know his style.

"Begin!" He said as he stood in the village Plaza.

Bodhan examined his opponent. He saw an actual competent stance, and that he was fighting with open palms, something he was fairly certain only specific style called for. He was sure that fighting defensively was his best choice, but how would he get his opponent to make the first move? He recalled one more thing that he had heard ogres did, some kind of technique in which they would focus their energy in preparation for a heavily damaging counterattack. He didn't know it, but he knew it was called psyching up, and he knew what it looked like. Maybe he could throw Cassius off his guard. Bodhan tensed his muscles up like he'd seen ronso who actually knew the technique do, and made the same 'bring it on' gesture with his hand.

Cassius simply chuckled; for he was a patient person with high speed, though he had a good burst of stamina, it would not last if he ran in head first. He simply watched as he raised a brow, and he placed a hand on his hip and the other on his chin, smirking a bit as he placed a toe into the ground, twisting a bit. "Come here kitty kitty~" He teased a bit as a way of trying to provoke.

Unlike himself, the Ronso was muscular all over, Cassius only had muscular legs. The only way he sees himself striking is if he can drive the Ronso's patience.

Well this plan was going fast. Cassius wanted Bohdan to strike first? Very well then. Bohdan was no fool, but he was a ronso, and he wasn't about to look like a coward. He positioned himself so that he was sideways in relation to Cassius, bent his front arm so that it was protecting his head and neck, and moved in. He used his back arm to throw the best right hook he could given those circumstances.

Cassius rolled his body around his hand before gripping the wrist, rather than move against to force, he moved with it in hopes of tripping the Ronso; the strategy of using his own force to hurt him.

Bohdan did fall down with a thud. That hurt a bit, but he was far from finished. If Cassius was going to go the grappling route, he could too. He used one hand to block his face, grabbed Cassius' leg with the other and attempted to stand up.

Cassius somewhat fell back; he raised his leg in an attempt to kick his chest, his feet were rather large seeing as they could fit a size fourteen.

Bohdan got some of the wind knocked out of him but he wasn't quite done yet. He attempted to punch Cassius in the stomach this time now that they were fairly close together and he still had somewhat of grip on him.

Cassius gasped upon being hit; the wind, though knocked out of him, kicked for the Ronso' neck. He was trying to break his hold so he could get back to his feet.

That was the ticket. Bohdan recoiled back from the hit, as a decent shot to the neck isn't a joke. He did his best to adopt a decent defensive stance in preparation for whatever should come next.

Cassius quickly stood up before resting his hands close but spread just a bit from his sides; if he came straight at him, he'd try to counter by grappling his wrist, or pivoting to the side.

"You're not bad." Cassius complemented.

Thank you." Bohdan said. He decided it was time to go all or nothing. He adopted a wide stance to make it look like he was going to move in again, not wanting to give himself away. He leaped high into the air, lunging at Cassius.

With that, Cassius took a more narrow stance, focused onto the adversary. He waited until the last second before he did a somersault kick; all his weight was thrown into this blow.

Bohdan was sent far back, the wind knocked out of as he spat just a bit.
As Cassius got up, he reached for his Atelier and placed in a green gem before pulling the trigger, there was a mist that came out of the end; an aura really as Bohdan's wounds healed as well as Cassius.

"That was most impressive." Rohzar walked over with a smile.
"You two earned a nice meal if you'll allow."

Cassius smiled a bit. "I'm sure he will."

Bohdan recovered from the damage he sustained relatively quickly. "That was impressive, not many people I've met in my travels could wage a battle as you just have. I would be honored to have a meal with you." Bohdan stretched a little bit, he found that doing so after a fight felt good. He noticed that a couple of local children had gathered to watch the fight, so he grabbed his lance back out of the sand and strapped it back to his body lest one of the try to treat it like a toy. He turned back to Cassius and Rohzar and prepared to follow them to wherever they intended to sit.

"A guard huh? With me, Gippal and Urick we should be relatively fine but I guess it's expected for them to be cautious. The waters have been a bit restless as of late."

" Mostly for the Civilians on board. We do understand that many Blitzballers are capable warriors but with so many people on a concentrated area only begs for an accident to occur. Also like you said the waters have been growing with more Fiends as of late, only a precaution. She was starting to sound like her mother...

Alex huffed a little as she mentioned she was a fangirl of Gippal when she was younger"Aaaaawwwe I see. You're a Cottenhead fan. Bet you were surprise to see him not as cool as he seems when he's not blitzing or surrounded by adoring fans. He's really a clumsy goof." she mused, though her tone gruff, she had a amused grin on her face before glancing toward Urick. She did hit it on the head, it was strange to see the man who she still had a little crush on, act so clumbsy and down to earth, generally nice... Besides the disappearing act for five years. Not the same guy she saw on the Sphere. Alex continued She did notice Urick really quiet...and was his face a little red?

"These two always had girls swooning over them. They really don't know how to handle them though. Probably didn't help that I'd always make them train with me or go bug Nai. You two do suck for ditching us without a word like that for five years ya know? If I didn't understand wanting to go out exploring the world and that I'm happy to see you're both not dead, I'd beat the shit outta both of you." Alora was surprised to hear that they lost contact for so long. Course she did hear it before from the frail girl she was assuming was Nai? How could they do that to their childhood friends? She shook her head it wasn't her place to judge. She looked at Alex as she mildly glared at Urick and Gippal and she glanced back but soon grinned and shrugged it off and back to her to Alora.

"Hey maybe a cute nice girl like you can teach these numbskulls some manners. Me and Nai can't seem to get through to them." She chuckled and grinned teasingly. Although she knew it was a joke it still caused her to stand up straight with wide eyes and blushed cheeks. "I um..." Looking at Urick and Gippal. Don't get her wrong, she would like to spend more time with them. But her teach them Mannors? If Alex couldn't do it she probbably couldn't. " I don't think I could, but thank you "She laughed a little awkwardly,

Alora watched as the strange woman and to say strange chocobo rode by, Alex stroked it as it passed. The chocobo reminded her of her parents, who were originally Chocobo Knights. Something she thought was a little cooler than the youth league title. But they were disbanded. It was one of her dreams to reassemble it, but with the world moving forward as it was, chocobo's were quickly becoming Obsolete,

"Still weird." Alex said before walking into the bustling town. Alora followed and stopped behind her.

"Awesome! Everyone sure went full out! Looks like a lot of good food too!" It was true Alora was looking forward to some food. She was surprised on how big it was.

She looked at Alex as she was glancing between Urick and Gippal. "Hey, you two want to pay a visit to the temple? It's been awhile right?" Alora had already seen the temple, and didn't want to intrude on them as they were likely to catch up on everything. She watched as Gippal and Urick looked at each other and seemed to have a conversation with just their eyes...and how he agreed to go. Did she really just see that? She watched Urick who seemed pleased with the decision. She couldn't help but narrow her eyes with her mouth slightly open. How... It couldn't have been.

She was distracted however as suddenly two people decided it was a good time to spar... in the middle of town! It was the half ronso from earlier and another Ronso. After watching the fight she was surprised on how short it was, and she was unimpressed sadly. She had seen more interesting fights with other youth league members.... of course they were older and had much more experience, Again she shouldn't judge. She did notice Urick perk up at the beginning of the fight, and Gippal explained that he always wanted to spar with every ronso. With no weapon on him she guessed he used his fists. She would have enjoyed to see that, him wrestling with a Ronso. Not many humans can even imagine to do that...but she bet he did really well.

She watched as the two who sparred walked away, and as they did she wondered how she should leave this group. As she thought before she didn't want to intrude a childhood reunion. Perhaps she should just slip away...

“Well I suppose it was the year after you disappeared…” Nai replied and tilted her head.” I was with Lady Lulu at their house for a lesson and practice magic. Sir Wakka and sir Tidus were there, hitting heir heads because they had some problems with the paperwork they needed to get done for a tournament. I offered to help them back then and that’s how it turned out to this day. At present I deal with most of all the documents that need attention, along with helping the team’s training with my magic throws. Don’t know if you noticed, but our goal keeper has been getting better and better as of late. Mostly because he has to deal with my strikes, of course I can’t enter the sphere because of my health, but even the land training has been proving effective.” She explained to her white haired friend.

“Yes, I’m coming… It’s been quite a while since I’ve visited it myself too.” Naisha said, and moved her chair back so she can turn and continue towards the temple. She too had noticed what her friends saw, but didn’t mention it. Still she felt quite a bit of curiosity about that strange woman. There was something very unnatural about her… and this mage wanted to know what it was.

“Huh… reminds me of the old times… We used to spar a lot when we were little didn’t we?” Nai said as she noticed the two people fighting nearby. Yeah all those years ago before she fell sick… those were good times.” Though we were about 5 years old at the time so we were only waving wooden swords around…fufufu.” The mage said with a happy giggle remembering those times.

And there was another thing she noticed, the new girl looked like she was feeling quite uncomfortable… She probably felt uneasy in their company. Nai didn’t plan on letting her leave just yet. Not without even learning her name.” Hey there miss, I never got to introduce myself, my name is Naisha. What’s yours?” Nai asked the other red haired girl.” Also no need to feel so uncomfortable, why not accompany us to the temple?”

Alex listened to Alora's words with a soft grunt of agreement. The civilians were to be protected, but perhaps the defenders overconfidence did cloud the judgment. Smirking at Urick's embarrassed look, the tall woman never could help but tease the easily teasable big guy. Even when he looked a big tough guy. As Urick and Gippal shared that look with one another and Alora seemed a little confused, Alex shrugged.

"Uri here is pretty shy. And those two cousins are so close knitted they can read one another's minds practically. Cottonhead's always kind of spoken for Uri. Well, when I didn't force Uri to say something. When we first met, I thought they were making fun of me so I'd get mad and punch them." she snickered before watching as that half Ronso and Ronso she saw earlier having a spar.

A aspect that peeked the tall red haired woman's interest as she watched the confrontation. When Gippal explained Urick's interest in fighting a Ronso, Alex smirked, her bright blue eyes seeming to burn with cold fire as she raised her hands. Punching her right fist against her left palm. A loud thunderous sound seeming to resound the area from the mere action.

"Is that so? It's been a while since we sparred right? How about you try your stuff with me you two? Oh! Alora you can join in too! We can have a outright brawl! And Nai can shoot fire and lightning at us! And maybe those two can join in as well." Alex said with a smirk, one could almost just see the dangerous burning spirit surround the red haired woman.

"Alright then! We'll do that after visiting the temple and whoever wins gets Lady Yuna's homemade food!" Alex shouted eagerly, seeming to already decide on how it was going to go before heading to the temple with eager determined steps.

Other than Blitzball, fighting was the best thing of Alex. Mostly because she had always demanded it since she could walk. Of course, challenging both Gippal and Urick when they were little and even Naisha before she got sick. Though, Alex would even demand Naisha train once she learned magic and use it against Alex. Even when Gippal and Urick left, she'd challenge those around the island, even Wakka and Tidus. Of course, she still couldn't exactly beat them, but they got to the point of trying to find a excuse not to train. Simply because Alex usually did go all out, with the exception of Naisha.

Alex's steps slowed as she neared the temple, her pace slowing as she entered the temple. Instantly feeling eyes on her. Her blue eyes glared at the priests giving her narrowed looks, as if telling her to get out. The tall woman ignored them and continued examining the temple. Most of Besaid had been kind to her, the temple priests were the exception. They never liked her. They wouldn't explain why, but the only reason they let her enter was because Lady Yuna had to tell them to let her. It irritated her and she used to snap at them, but Lady Yuna did scold her to try and behave when in the temple. It was hard, but she settled with glares now. It just pissed her off that she had no idea what their problem was. Other than apparently she's a bad omen. Something like that.

"Uri here is pretty shy. And those two cousins are so close knitted they can read one another's minds practically. Cottonhead's always kind of spoken for Uri. Well, when I didn't force Uri to say something. When we first met, I thought they were making fun of me so I'd get mad and punch them." Alex snickered as Alora glanced up at Urick, then at Gippal. Fascinating... she thought.

“Huh… reminds me of the old times… We used to spar a lot when we were little didn’t we?” The lady in the chair said as they watched the two sparring ” Though we were about 5 years old at the time so we were only waving wooden swords around…fufufu.” She added with a happy giggle, infectious enough to make her smile as well.

As if she sensed her smiling at her she turned to her and asked ” Hey there miss, I never got to introduce myself, my name is Naisha. What’s yours? Also no need to feel so uncomfortable, why not accompany us to the temple?” She stood a little straighter when she was addressed. Her eyes wide at attention to Naisha as she spoke to her. So she noticed she was uncomfortable? She clearly needed to work on allowing her emotions show.

She bowed to Naisha and answered, "My name is Alora, it's a pleasure to meet you, miss Naisha." She lifted from the bow but her eyes were averted away from Naisha for a moment before she looked her in the eyes. Her father always taught her to talk face to face, it shows respect to them. " I don't wish to impose. I mean you all are finally getting back together after five years, I'm sure you have a lot to catch up on. "

When Gippal Mentioned how Urick always tried to spar with every Ronso, she noticed Alex perk up. "Is that so? It's been a while since we sparred right? How about you try your stuff with me you two? Oh! Alora you can join in too! Alroa's eyes went wide as she said she could join in as well. Her?! fight with these celebrities? She was confident about her abilities...but..."We can have a outright brawl! And Nai can shoot fire and lightning at us! And maybe those two can join in as well." Alex said with a smirk,

Alora never would have Guessed Alex liked fighting so much. She knew she was tough in Blitzball but she now even was more amazing in Alora's eyes. The fact she didn't even blink, and sounded so excited challenging 4 people. at once. She might have been right that the youth league was being too cautious sending her and a few others.

"Alright then! We'll do that after visiting the temple and whoever wins gets Lady Yuna's homemade food!" Alex shouted eagerly, while plowing a path towards the temple leaving them all behind for the moment.

She didn't say anything... partially waiting to see what Naisha said. partially thinking she should check on her men.

"Uri here is pretty shy. And those two cousins are so close knitted they can read one another's minds practically. Cottonhead's always kind of spoken for Uri. Well, when I didn't force Uri to say something. When we first met, I thought they were making fun of me so I'd get mad and punch them." Alex said as Urick remembered that first time meeting her. He Never met a girl who punched so hard it was something he defiantly liked about her. He nodded to Alora as she looked to him, trying to conferm what Alex said.

“Huh… reminds me of the old times… We used to spar a lot when we were little didn’t we?” Naisha said as she watched the two sparring ” Though we were about 5 years old at the time so we were only waving wooden swords around…fufufu.” Gippal smiled and leaned on the chair from behind so his head was six inches above Naisha's. "Yep Playing the Pilgrimage, I preferred that due to Alex hitting me on the head all the time with the sword. He took a deep breath in as he looked around the Village. Alot had changed in five years, yet much of it stayed the same. What he wished to go back then...

He continued to look as Naisha spoke up again, this time to the new girl. ” Hey there miss, I never got to introduce myself, my name is Naisha. What’s yours? Also no need to feel so uncomfortable, why not accompany us to the temple?” At which he turned his head to look at her.

She bowed to Naisha and answered, "My name is Alora, it's a pleasure to meet you, miss Naisha." She lifted from the bow " I don't wish to impose. I mean you all are finally getting back together after five years, I'm sure you have a lot to catch up on. "

He didn't get a chance to say anything when Alex piped in to his comment about Urick. "Is that so? It's been a while since we sparred right? How about you try your stuff with me you two? Oh! Alora you can join in too! We can have a outright brawl! And Nai can shoot fire and lightning at us! And maybe those two can join in as well." Alex said with a smirk, Which Gippal winced and said, "I..." But she continued.

"Alright then! We'll do that after visiting the temple and whoever wins gets Lady Yuna's homemade food!" Alex shouted eagerly, At which Gippal tried to protest. "We can't spar before a game! Not with how hard you spar." But she didn't hear him. He sighed and said to Naisha, "Any chance you think she would forget? I can't put Aunt Yuna's food on the line." it was half serious by his tone.

He looked to Alora and said with a smile. "Don't feel like you are imposing. I plan on staying near these two for a long while now. Plenty of time to catch up. " He glanced down at Naisha to see how she would react, then back to Alora, "It's up to you, but the offer is open. I always enjoy making new friends." He nodded his head to her and said, "I'm Gippal, It's a pleasure to meet you Alora."

Urick let out a low grumble "Hmph." and started walking to the temple at which Gippal said, "I know I know," He started to push Naisha again and said with a Chuckle. "We should probably follow before Alex decides to pick a fight with the priest."

Soon they came up behind Alex who was glaring at the priests. "Come on Alex," He said casually as he passed her into the temple. Urick stopped next to her. He remembered the Priests didn't like her for a reason they never explained. There was one who was right next to the door, Urick moved ahead of Alex and made his way towards him. Stoping infront of him and only looked at him with a narrow glare and a soft growl, scaring the man away from his sheer size and fierce look in his eye. He simply then opened the door and looked to Alex like nothing happened.

As they walked inside the building a low humming noise could be heard. It didn't fluctuate or carry a tune... it wasn't even loud. If you strained to hear it you would. That was the first thing Gippal noticed...he's been in temples before, all dead silent. But now this. He didn't say anything. Maybe it was himself. He glanced around to see if that mystery woman was around.

"Is that so? It's been a while since we sparred right? How about you try your stuff with me you two? Oh! Alora you can join in too! We can have a outright brawl! And Nai can shoot fire and lightning at us! And maybe those two can join in as well.". Nai heard Alex said and the mage let out a laugh.”Indeed, fire and lightning I can shoot at you as much as you desire.” The mage said still laughing. “But as a manager of the team I must consider the fact that there is a match soon, so I wont be using damaging magics on any of you.” She added in the end, finally stopping to laugh and just having a smile on her face.

“Nice to meet you Alora and as Gippal here said, there is no need to feel like you are imposing. He may plan to stay with us for a long time, but I personally plan to not let him escape like the last time at all. Besides when we leave for the tournament I still will be accompanying all of you because I’m obliged as the manager of the Besaid Aurochs.”Naisha stated and snapped her fingers, creating a small piece of ice that she put in her drink. The frail looking mage didn’t eat or drink much, compared to the others, but with her body she couldn’t even if she wanted.

“You know her as well as I do, you guys will be sparring. She will not forget about that, but don’t worry. I will cast some protection spells on you to not get hurt in the process.” The mage replied to to her white haired friend.” As for the cooking… I personally prefer my teacher’s. The cooking Lady Lulu prepares has stronger flavor, where Lady Yuna’s is always making it have more gentle taste.” Nai said with a smile.

“I don’t think we need to worry. Alex has been getting better at self control around the priests as of late and they also began to not get into open confrontation as much as before. A most they should be staring each other when we get to them.” The frail woman said with a chuckle, but her laugh ended the moment they entered the temple itself… She immediately heard the low humming noise that was ringing through the temple.”It can’t be!” Nai exclaimed and turned towards the entrance to the hall of the trials. “We are heading down to the chambers of the Faith!” The mage stated and threw an angry look at the priest that was nearby.”Didn’t you notice this before? When did it start?”

The rider from before had easily made her way into the temple and, when none of the priests seemed to be looking her way, easily entered into the cloister of trials. It was like she was a shadow, just a whisper passing by. The priests hadn't seemed to notice her at all. She'd made her steps down the hall long before the tall woman from before and her friends had entered the sanctuary. Her pale hands rubbed the temple's hall's interior and she inhaled. Ah... it felt so... familiar here somehow. Not like a home, but like she'd seen this place once before. Hm... yes... just up ahead she would see for herself.

She pulled her hood down, freeing her long black and blue high ponytail. With a slight stretch and a sigh, the pale woman padded down the halls toward the area she needed to be, curiously picking up strange, discolored spheres along the way. They seemed to be for some old traps or old puzzles, but now the glow they once held to signify their relevance was long dead. Seeing their lack of color sent a twinge of dis-ease in the riders belly. Her glowing blue eyes scanned the walls until they found an encave just big enough to fit the sphere. She held the sphere closer to her face, squinting. There was indeed still a very faint glow now that she looked closer. Perhaps, then, that meant it would still work. Gingerly, the pale woman inserted the sphere. With a groan, the rock door pulled open into the hub between the prayer room and the cloister of trials. Perking her head up, the rider walked within.

Alex had been too excited to really listen to everyone's responses to the spar, her blue glare staring down the priest at the door before watching as Gippal and Naisha passed her. Rolling her eyes at Gippal at his words she was about to follow before watching Urick stop beside her before approaching the priest at the front door of the temple and chase him off before holding the door open for the tall red head. Looking like nothing happened. Rolling her eyes, the tall woman walked closer until she was beside him.

"You don't need to pretend to be the big scary guy for me Ya know. I do that plenty, and have been dealing with these jerks for years. But thanks, Uri." Alex smiled, lightly patting his shoulder before walking inside.

The soft hum of the temple made her pause, it was so quiet yet not as much compared to the usual silence of the temple. Naisha was the first to react, demanding the priests when this started. Probably from all those stories that they were told as children. But still, it's been over twenty years... Could this really be anything?

Yet, Alex could feel a sudden throb within her head. That was odd, usually she didn't get the headaches unless she stayed in the temple for more than thirty minutes. Something definetly was wrong. It was then Alex saw that weird girl, seeming to have one of the temple spheres. Using it to open the door to the cloister of trails before entering.

The Priests called out, trying to say it was forbidden but it was too late. "We better get going then, there are plenty of fiends running around in there." Alex said in response to Naisha saying they needed to go to the chambers of the fayth.

The red head was already heading up the steps, before getting promptly wacked on top of the head by a iron staff by the High Priest. "Ow! What the #%#% was that for you old geezer?!" Alex growled, her eyes narrowing as she glared furiously at the priest.

Glaring back the elderly man grunted. "No one is allowed in the Cloister of Trails. It's tradition. Especially you." he scolded in that grating tone of his.

Alex's eye twitched as she grinded her teeth together, her temper flaring before she snatched the staff from the high priest's hands and snapped it in two with her bare hands. Throwing the pieces to the floor she glared at him. "Well someone went in there and you are apparently too dumb to realize to know what's going on so get out of the way!" Alex roared before quickly bolting through the door.

Walking into the untouched part of the temple, the tall woman quickly moved through the halls. Where did that girl go? As she turned a corner, a dingo was there sniffing around. She narrowed her eyes, watching it look up at her before promptly ignoring her by continuing walking. Alex didn't know why, but Fiends just seemed to ignore her most of the time. But the red head quickly unsheathed her sword from the back of her hips and slashed the blade against the beast, causing it to yelp and disappear in a burst of light filled orbs.

Sheathing the blade she continued on until she found that girl. "Hey! What do you think your doing here? You better have a good reason for it." Alex said with a growl before holding her head. Her head throbbed and pounded harder than ever. It seemed to be worsening the deeper she went into the temple. She's never been this far, only looked at maps of it Tidus and Lady Yuna had of it. Compared to other temples, this one wasn't so big.

As Alex walked off and Alora watched, she heard Gippal sigh and said to Naisha, "Any chance you think she would forget? I can't put Aunt Yuna's food on the line." it was half serious by his tone. But Before Naisha could answer Gippal looked to Alora and said with a smile. "Don't feel like you are imposing. I plan on staying near these two for a long while now. Plenty of time to catch up. " "It's up to you, but the offer is open. I always enjoy making new friends." He nodded his head to her and said, "I'm Gippal, It's a pleasure to meet you Alora."

Alora couldn't help but smile when Gippal talked to her. It was clear that her inner little teenager was bubbling up. She had a major crush on him growing up. It's hard to let that go. It was only five years before. She nodded and said, "It's nice to meet you as well.." She could muster before Naisha spoke up.

She notice Urick take a few steps forward letting out a low grumble "Hmph." and started walking to the temple at which Gippal said, "I know I know," At which Alora, even though it was just explained to her by Alex gave a weird look. How the heck did he know exactly what he wanted him to know? Gippal started to push Naisha again and said with a Chuckle. "We should probably follow before Alex decides to pick a fight with the priest."

“I don’t think we need to worry. Alex has been getting better at self control around the priests as of late and they also began to not get into open confrontation as much as before. A most they should be staring each other when we get to them.” she said with a chuckle. Alora followed with a smile watching the two. She found it interesting how they reacted, the the certain wording they used with each other. They seemed to act like a couple, course that tends to happen when you grow up with someone most of your life. But the fact they both said they are planning on staying together for a while. While it didn't come right out with it, the fact Naisha said, she wasn't letting him escape at all... She wouldn't have been surprised if there was a history between the two. Despite the fact she had a crush on Gippal, she watched the cute 'couple' walking into the temple, A famous strong and handsome Blitzer with a frail but beautiful girl, able to keep in him in line. That in her mind was too adorable.

The thought ended as they walked in and immediately Naisha ”It can’t be!” Nai exclaimed and turned towards the entrance to the hall of the trials. “We are heading down to the chambers of the Faith!” She stated and threw an angry look at the priest that was nearby.”Didn’t you notice this before? When did it start?”

The Priests called out, trying to say it was forbidden but it was too late. "We better get going then, there are plenty of fiends running around in there." Alex said in response to Naisha saying they needed to go to the chambers of the fayth, to also go after that mysterious woman.

She was lost for a moment, due to the fact she didn't hear the humming at first. But now she did after she collected herself. It was very strange she didn't hear this yesterday... Could it really be the Fayth? Weren't they Sent twenty five years ago?

Alex was already heading up the steps, before getting promptly wacked on top of the head by a iron staff by the High Priest. "Ow! What the #%#% was that for you old geezer?!"

Glaring back the elderly man grunted. "No one is allowed in the Cloister of Trails. It's tradition. Especially you." he scolded, Alora caught the Especially you part, why though?

Alex's eye twitched as she grinded her teeth together, her temper flaring before she snatched the staff from the high priest's hands and snapped it in two with her bare hands. Throwing the pieces to the floor she glared at him. "Well someone went in there and you are apparently too dumb to realize to know what's going on so get out of the way!" Alex roared before quickly bolting through the door.

Things were escalating pretty quickly. She should get her men to come help, but she couldn't allow the situation to blow up? What if the mysterious woman decided to deface the Fayth? What if something worse happen? As a member of the Youth League she was responsible with keeping the citizens of Spira safe, Just like the soldiers of New Yevon. In a split second she decided to go after Alex. With sudden agile speed she leaped up the stairs in three light steps and was through the door before anyone could say anything else.

She came up behind Alex as the tall woman quickly unsheathed her sword from the back of her hips and slashed the blade against the beast, causing it to yelp and disappear in a burst of light filled orbs. Two more came out and tried to attack Alora, but with one fluid motion she unsheathed her sword and slashed both fiends heads off and sheathing her sword with out hesitation. The Pyreflies bursting everywhere as they 'died'

She followed Alex till the found the rider from before. [color=red]"Hey! What do you think your doing here? You better have a good reason for it." Alex said with a growl before holding her head. At which Alora asked her in a soft voice, "Are you ok? You don't look well..." But before she would get an answer she would take a few steps forward and say in a authoritative voice "Miss, I must ask you to leave here, this place is off limits to the public... if you don't comply we will have to resort to force. " She gripped her sword sheath just below the guard, and stepped sideways to prepare to fight. She did note the woman had a Katana as well. Hopefully it didn't come to fighting.

As Alex walked into the temple she said, "You don't need to pretend to be the big scary guy for me Ya know. I do that plenty, and have been dealing with these jerks for years. But thanks, Uri." Alex smiled, lightly patting his shoulder before walking inside. He knew she could take care of herself, but it still wasn't right for the hate these men gave her. He followed in last and suddenly Naisha started yelling at the priests and Alex after saying they should be in there runs off towards the Fayth's room.

A priest came up towards Naisha "It only happened a few minutes ago. Another has been sent for Lady yuna, SHE will deal with this You all should stay here!" it was this time Alex was hit in the head and had her confrontation with a different priest. Urick growled. You never hit a woman no matter how much you dislike her. Before he could act Alex had already snapped the mans iron staff in half. Despite her looks she was incredibly strong not many people can break an Iron staff in two.

Alex disappeared into the Cloister of Trails, then quickly behind her Alora. The were never allowed to go into the Cloister of Trails, even though they replaced the Fayths with replicas. Mostly due to the fact it was still dangerous in there with the Fiends that manage to find their way in. Also those who still believed in Yevon's teachings fought for it to be so. From the stories Lady Yuna said about their battles with Yu Yevon, it was clear it was a false teaching but she couldn't bring herself to reveal it to everyone.

Urick looked to Gippal who was looking off into space, as if he was remembering something important, connecting dots. Gippal's eyes went wide as came to a realization 'could it be....' Urick shrugged slightly 'it's possible'

Gippal shook his head, but he couldn't let it go he had to check it for him self to see if it was his doing. his Fists tighten as he tried to control his anger. At this moment, Urick spoke. " Gippal..." It was enough to realize the Naisha was here and Urick was clearly trying to snap him out of it. "Lets go..."

the same Priest who had hit Alex in the head with his rod came up "No I forbid any more of you to go in!" Stopped in his tracks when Urick stepped up infront of him. Growled and picked him up by front of his robes. "Urick..." Gippal said hesitantly. It was rare to see him angry, and when he was it could turn very bad...

Urick looked back to Gippal and then to the man..."Dont.hit.Women." He then tossed him aside like a rag doll and made his way up to the cloister with out them. Gippal decided, even though he wanted to sprint within he couldn't leave Nai behind. He would stick with her as they made their way in.

“Grrr…” Nai made an angry growl as the priests tried to cut their entrance into the cloister of trials. When she saw the priest hitting Alex and the red head snapping his staff in two, Nai screamed from approval in her mind. That was the way to do it! Those priests were too annoying most of the time! She let a good smile once again when Urick tossed the priest to the side, giving him a warning to not hit girls.

Once they stepped through the entrance of the cloister, Nai turned around to look at the priests and the few of the Yevon guards that were at the temple. They were shouting at them to stop.” To oblivion with all of you…” Naisha said, raising her staff in the air. Most of the guards and priests stopped in their tracks at the sight of her staff suddenly being covered with energy.” FROZEN WALL!” The mage shouted, as at the entrance of the cloister flared a flash of magic and a ice crystal began to grow at insane rate. Just a second later, the whole entrance was already covered by a thick frozen wall.” That should stop them… at least till Lady Yuna and Master Lulu show up… teacher will probably melt it with a single spell.” Nai said with a huge grin.

Making their way deeper into the cloister, Nai and Gippal were slightly behind the others because Alex sprinted in first, followed by Alora, now Urick seemed to also speed up to find Alex. Because of her chair, Nai moved slightly slower and Gippal seemed to have decided to accompany her and not leave her alone. That put a small smile on her face. There weren’t any fiends to bother them right this moment because the rest seemed to have slaughtered their way through them. After all Besaid temple’s cloister of trials wasn’t the biggest. After a few minutes she finally spotted the rest ahead. Alex seemed to be holding her head… Was it her mysterious condition? They all knew that Alex has something special about her… could that be causing her headache?

“Alex! What’s wrong!?” Nai asked as they were getting closer.” Do you need anything?!” The mage asked with concern. She felt bed seeing her friend looking heart. She then spotted the mysterious girl with the ice magic from earlier.” You… what are you doing here? Why did you enter the cloister? ” The mage asked, locking her sight completely on the mysterious girl that had a katana.
