Eric looked back at Loki as he had the cloak on. He had to admit that he looked better with it than his previous shirt. He then noticed that he was trying to fix his hair a little. He looked away from the male before taking a small knife from its holster. "I wanna show you something. Take this", he hold out the dagger for Loki to take.

Loki stopped messing with his hair not bothering since it was a tangled mess and figured that he would need a comb. Other than that it felt a little now that his injuries were giving him so much grief for the moment since he had been moving. He knew it would bite him in the ass later on. When Eric stopped, so did Loki, unsure what the man wanted to show him. But none the less he took the dagger, though with a little bit of hesitation.

He saw Loki's hesitation but proceeded nonetheless. "Which is your lead foot?", he asked him before he suddenly charges at him as if he was about to attack hm. "Right, someone comes at you, you raise this arm up, you block and you use your strength against them", he said as he shows him the move with his own dagger. "You're just about the right height, so wait until they're close and you drive it through their heart, to the hilt. You understand?", he asks him to make sure he was following. "You do not hesitate. You look in their eyes and do not pull out until you see into their soul", he finishes.

Loki was unsure what was his leading foot. He was hard to remember but while he was thinking about it, he saw Eric charge at it and instinctively took his stance. Seeing him demonstrate. He followed and listened. He watched him closely and felt he didn't have it in his heart to kill a man. He killed one. He didn't think he could do it. He nodded though showing he understood and was listening. When Eric was finished he looked at the knife before Eric. "I cannot do it." Loki told him.

Eric watched as Loki tried to show that he was listening by repeating the move. It came to the Huntsman that this man knew how to use a dagger. That was a relief. He also recalled that he had the grace in his movements with the knife. It was fluid, almost feline. He then noticed that he stopped and hesitated. He was probably tired or that he didn't have the guts to kill a person. "Well, you might not have a choice", he told him before he took the dagger back from his hand and continued walking.

Well Loki was tired but he also didnt have the heart to kill a person. Not again. With Eric's words as he took the knife back, Loki followed behind the Huntsman as best as he could.

Reaching what seemed to the the edge of the Moors, and a place he was somewhat familiar with, Loki looked around cautiously seeing all that they had to do was cross a bridge. "So this is the Edge of the Dark Forest?" Loki asked Eric as his Emerald eyes scanned the area. He had a feeling that there was something missing besides the dead trees and plants.

Eric kept walking until he heard Loki come up behind him. He saw the bridge as well as knowing that this was the edge of the Moors. Hearing Loki's question, he nods. "Aye", he confirmed before he stopped dead in his tracks and takes out his axe. "Hold onto me"

Seeing the man stopping at the bridge, the raven haired fae noticed Eric had taken his axe and told him to hold onto him. Loki was unsure about that but did so by taking hold of the man's belt that had his blades on them. Keeping a good grip on it. He followed when the man moved. "What is it?" He asked, noticing the caution in the man's body language and the way he held his axe.

The Huntsman shushes him before he proceeded to move with caution on the bridge. At their feet, a creature opens its eyes and it rises with a growl behind them. Eric turns around to see it. "Troll!", he shouts before it knocks them off the bridge as they try to make a run for it. Eric manages to get Loki behind a tree until it was knocked to the side, leaving the stump. "Run!", he tells the fae as he attacks the troll until it knocks him aside. The creature began to stalk towards him while the Huntsman lays unconscious.

Loki kept ahold of the Huntsman's belt as he too looked behind him to see the Troll and would gladly follow the man's lead to run. However when they were knocked off Loki fell to the ground before he getting up with Eric's help and behind a large tree. Seeing Eric leave from the somewhat safety of the stump, he took notice that he was going to try and kill the troll and wanting him to run. But Loki felt he needed to stay there. Seeing Eric take on the creature, he saw it knock Eric aside and stalk toward it as he was left unconscious. Loki felt the need to do something. Before he could think of any ideas, he came from his hiding place and roared at the Troll to get it's attention. But now he had no idea what to do now but to stand his ground. He remembered a brief confrontation with Trolls. But if he was right, standing his ground would save their lives. Hopefully this troll would understand that he doesnt mean harm. Just to pass and not disturb this creature anymore. If the creature faced him and came closer, he would only hesitantly hold his hand out to it to show peace.

The troll turned to see Loki and it roared at him. It came a little closer to the dark haired fae as it was challenged to a staredown. It was eventually beaten and it turned as it walked away. Eric, now conscious, sees the creature interact with Loki and he manages to get himself to stand before the troll went out of sight. "I told you to run", he told him as he looked at the fae who continued to watch the troll in the distance.

Loki smiled as he saw that the Troll didn't try to kill them as he watched it walk away out of sight. Hearing Eric come up to him, he turned to see him obviously not pleased with him not doing as he was told. With the smile gone and a neutral look, he simply countered. "If I had, you would be dead." He told the Huntsman then making his way to the side of the bridge they were suppose to be on. Waiting for Eric patiently.

Eric rolled his eyes and went up to join Loki so they could keep going.

They continued to walk out of the Moors and towards an area that had fog and swampy grass. Eric manages to look ahead and to see females who covered their faces on the boats that was approaching them. "We bring no harm", Eric tells the leading woman. She says nothing but allows them to climb aboard. They moved the boat with the rod over the swampy waters and towards what looked like a small village. The layout and the condition tells that these women were poor along with suffering children. After they were situated there, one of the woman approached Eric. "You got nothing to drink?", he asked as he sees no clean water source. "You have traveled far, a great burden", she tells him as Eric looked at Loki in the distance who appears to be playing with one of the little girls. "I've had worse jobs. Anyway, he's not that heavy", he continued watching the fae in the distance. "You don't know who he is", she says before Eric looked back at her. "What do you mean?", he asked in curiosity. "That man. Is the son of a certain fairy that we all fear. She was the most powerful of all beings. His name is Loki. He was a king of that forest until he was imprisoned and that's what caused the forest to lose its power", she explains to him.

Later that night, Eric approaches the fae as they were getting situated for bed. "Why didn't you tell me? Cause I would think it was too difficult a task?", he asked him in disbelief.

Loki followed Eric that brought them to a swampy grassland when he too saw the women that had their faces covered. Loki said nothing as he let Eric do the talking, seeing them let them aboard, he too got on but was unsure what was going to happen next. They didn't seem to want to harm them but he didn't know what would happen over all. As he watched their surrounding change, he saw the small village and the condition they were in. He wondered who they were, how they managed to live like this.

After being situated and feeling much better now that he had been bandaged up and something to eat, he was more than willing to play with a girl that invited him to play. He was use to playing and the times he would play with the fae folk. So Loki played with her at the docks that the little girl had brought them to and then helped her make her doll. He never thought he would have a time like this where he could relax, sit down and be himself from years ago. Smiling and playing. Loki looked a little better off that the girl even put a braid in his hair after she found out that it was tangled and all.

That night Loki was getting ready to retire for them night and noticed footsteps coming toward him. Seeing how it was Eric, his face seemed a little brighter until he asked him why he never told him who he was and guessed why to see if it was true. Loki felt abit down, knowing that the reason seemed sound but yet should have said something. He looked to the ground before looking to Eric. "I didn't trust you. I'm sorry." And he was sorry. He never thought that not telling someone who he was feel so wrong. But he told the truth and had a slim chance of hope the man would forgive him.

Eric turns around and walks out of the tent. Taking his weapons, he proceeds to walk through the swampy grassland. "How can you abandon him now that you know the truth?", the leader of the women asked him as she caught him leaving. "He's trouble. Besides, the only trouble is me. Everything I have has been destroyed", he says. "There is good in you, Huntsman. This man needs you", she tries to persuade him to stay. "The only good is that he is safe. He doesn't need me", he tells her before walking away.

Loki had been sleeping that night when he woke up. He felt something was wrong. Not right. Sitting up in his bed, Loki looked around and smelled something odd but couldn't place it till he heard something as he then saw something bright. "No no no no!" He saw fire and he knew what he had to do. Seeing that the little girl was in here and asleep, he woke her up. "Come on, we need to get out of here." And so he helped her out as he then saw that the village was being set ablaze. Men on horses were all around as he tried to help the women and children escape. What he didn't see was a man coming to attack him.

Eric ran through the swampy grassland as he saw the fire in the distance. Knowing that Loki was in trouble, he dashed towards the village. The women were setting their boats as they all ran to retreat their burning home. "Find him!", the voice of Finn shouted as he rode on a horse through the commotion. Eric then came into view before he saw a man coming at Loki while he was helping the women escape. The Huntsman grabbed one of his small axes and threw it at the guard, striking his back.

All Loki saw was a shine at the corner of his eye before he looked behind him to see a man had tried to kill him but only to be struck by a small axe. Loki was startled by this as he then looked around to see Eric. "We need to help them get out of here!" He said as he still tried to help the children and women onto the boats.

Eric ran to him, grabbing the axe that stuck out of the guard. "We have to go!", he tells him as he stops him from helping anymore. "Finn is looking for you again. We must go!"

Loki tried to get himself free from Eric worried about the woman that helped them. "But we just leave them!" He tried to tell him. Their safety felt like a priority to him. The woman that helped the two looked to them and heard their dispute. "Go! We'll be fine! Just go!" She said before Loki then felt guilt before leaving them and going to Eric. He didn't want to leave but felt at a loss.

That morning when they made it out of the Swampy grasslands and into a forest. Loki felt tired from all the running they had done since the attack. Falling to his knees, he felt tired, hurt, and sad. "We should have never some there...Should have kept going..." He cried. He wondered how many woman died, how many children died. It only reminded him of his dear Silena and her stillborn child. How they died. Pain just weighed too much for him.
