Eric kept running along with Loki as they ran from the village. After what felt like forever, he saw Loki collapse on the ground, crying. Without second thought, the Huntsman walked to him and kneeled on one knee in front of him, holding onto Loki's shoulders. "Hey, look at me", he tells him softly. "I will get you to Vanaheim. We can't stop now", he said to him as he moved a piece of Raven black hair from his face. "Hey. I will get you there"

[Jazz]

Loki had no idea how long he had been crying for but he felt a hand on his shoulder and wiped his tears as best as he could as he then looked to the Huntsman with red teary eyes. Hearing what seemed to be a promise, he nodded before slowly getting up. He knew he had to get up, move on. Taking a breath, he slowly calmed himself down. Ready to press on when the Eric was.

Eric nodded as he helped the fae to his feet. He was just about to keep walking before he stepped on a tripwire and a rope was wrapped around his and Loki's feet before they were hauled up into a tree back to back, upside down. "Oh no", Eric muttered as he struggled on the binds.

((Mind playing the dwarves?))

[Jazz]

(All of them? I don't mind.)
Loki had noticed something off but was unable to say anything till it was far too late and was bound as well with Eric. He bumped his head against the man's after he said something. He winced as he struggled a little. "How do we get out of this?" He asked as he then saw some small figures come from hiding. "Uh oh." Was all he said as he then stopped struggling. "This is our lucky day." Beith said with a smirk as he saw the huntsman hanging from the tree. He noticed another man there but didn't care much for him at the moment. "The hedgepig I loath most in the world, lands right in our lap." He continued as he used his weapon now as a cane to lean on.

((I think I am playing enough characters. You may play the dwarves))

"Oh no, dwarves!", Eric groaned as he saw the small figures approach them. Oh, how much the dwarves were hated to him. Simply, they would just annoy him as well as become savages. "Come on, Beith. Is this how you treat a friend?", he asked him.

[Jazz]

(Lol! I know. I had to make sure instead of assume.)
Loki tried to look behind Eric to get a better look at the dwarves but was unsuccessful. Beith spoke up. "Oh! No! No! No, you buttock! This is how I treat a friend." And on time, Beith hit Eric in the stomach with the handle of his weapon. One of the eight dwarves was examining Loki. "He's pretty." Gus pointed out. Beith then leaned over to the side to see the man behind the Huntsman. "Mm. And who's this, hey? Is it an errant apprentice or captive?" He asked. Loki answered. "This man is helping me." He was feeling a bit uncomfortable as well as a bit frustrated.

Coll, another of the eight spoke up. "We should kill'em both!" Duir agreed. "Yeah, he's caused us nothing but trouble." Coll nodded. "Skewer'em both." Duir then stepped closer to Loki and the Huntsman. "I'll do it." "Good." Coll said. However a masked elderly dwarf step in to stop them. "Leave him alone Duir." He said. So Duir stepped back.

During this time Quert had been going through his codpiece. "He's got nothing. One silver coin and an empty codpiece." And so took the silver coin and threw the codpiece at the Huntsman. "Two days we sit here, what for? Nothing?" Gort was obviously frustrated as he hit Eric in the stomach. "We should have stayed by the river! What a waste of time!" Nion said just as frustrated.

"Cut us down, Beith. I have gold, I can pay you. I don't have it since its hidden in the woods", Eric spoke up over the chatter of the dwarves. He had to at least get them to cut them down. "Cut us down, and I'll show you"

[Jazz]

Loki rolled his eyes during this whole process of talk as he just wanted to get down as well but knew that this chatter was getting them no where. Tell them the truth, Eric. There's no time! They might find us soon!" Loki told him. He didn't want others to get hurt because of him. He already felt guilty for the deaths of the women and children, he didn't need it to come to others that they come across, meaning the dwarves. "Yeah, pull the other one, you lying dangler!" Nion said with frustration. Beith was curious as to what this man behind the Huntsman was talking about. "Who is he?" He asked.

"I have to take this man to Vanaheim. He's not safe here", Eric tells the dwarves as Loki told him to tell the truth. "He's worth a lot of gold to me. And which I would be happy to share with you!", he tries to convince them before they hit him again. "Stop that!", he shouted in annoyance.

[Jazz]

Yes. Loki was more annoyed now and seeing that this was going nowhere, he decided to intervine. "Gold is worth nothing to you if you are all dead! The queen's men hunt us, they are very close!" He shouted over them all. "Shut up" Gort says to the man behind the Huntsman. Loki's eyes widened. "You have love for the queen." Beith chuckled. "Oh, we have no love for the queen." He told the raven haired man. "Then you fight against her?" Loki asked. "No one fights against the queen." Quert interjected. "We lost everything when the king died." Coll said next with sorrow in his voice. "We fight only for ourselves." Duir declared as the rest nodded. "My mother was Maleficent." Loki blurted out. Beith looked shocked before looking to Muir. "Muir, does he speak the truth?" He asked. "Yes, he is of the blood. He is destined, Beith. I see an end to the darkness." He sounded relieved as if a weight was lifting from his shoulders. Beith then had them cut down. Loki groaned when he fell to the ground but he got up and the Dwarves had them both follow them.

Entering through some foliage and through a cave, the eight dwarves, Eric and Loki entered a forest that was full of green and bright. Loki could hear the music of faries and instantly brightened up, feeling instantly at home. However Nion was not liking the music. "Blasted fairy music." Nion groaned. Gort chuckled. "Here. Good thing there's plenty of moss about." He said as he picked up some moss and handed some to Nion. "Where are we?" Loki asked, his tone changed to curiosity and wonder." "They call it 'Sanctuary', me lord. It's the home of the fairies." Gus answered. Loki looked all around him, even resorting to walking backwards to see everything around him. He never felt so light like he did just now.

Eric tried to turn to look at Loki but couldn't. He thought about the pieces of a puzzle in his head before they were cut down. He groaned in pain as he landed.

Eric followed Loki from behind as he watches the fae look around him. The next thing he realized is they were coming up to a small pond. He couldn't help but widen his eyes. A body floated inside the water. It looked female with pale skin, long brown hair, and curled horns on her head. She wasn't wearing any clothes either.

[Jazz]

Loki too noticed the small pond when they got. The dwarves stayed back a fair distance as Loki walked toward the pond slowly. When he reached the ponds edge, he noticed a familiar in the pond. His eyes too widened as he slowly kneeled to one knee. His emotion hit him in a bit wave that he didn't know what all to feel. "M-Mother?" He managed to ask as he reached his hand out, touching the water's surface. Disturbing the water as ripples were made.

The water rippled as Loki touched it, but they began to bubble. As the water bubbled rapidly, the figure of Maleficent began to rise from the water until she was in a standing position above the water. A flock of Ravens began to fly towards the hovering body before they began to circle around her. Her hair rose before it was morphed into a black horned headdress before a black long sleeved cloak with a collar morphed on her body. Then her whole body began to glow and it dissipated before her yellowish eyes opened and she lowered herself before she touched the water surface. She didn't look at the group as she was was looking to her left side and staring straight ahead before a staff formed in her hand. She kept walking until she stopped before a pair of fairies and she sang the same tune they sang. Her hands sat on top of her staff as she watched the fairies fly away. If only someone would get her attention...

((Just to be sure, the black dress she is wearing is not the one from the Christening. It's the black dress she wore when she went to the castle to wake Aurora))

When the pond began to bubble, Loki quickly got to his feet as he then watched everything that happened in that one pond with awe, wonder, and disbelief. Watching the raven's morph into her garb, and soon done, the fae watched as his mother touched the water's surface and then sing to fairies that were nearby as if unaware that he was ever there. This broke his heart. He didn't know what to do. He thought that she would notice him. See him and welcome him with open arms, a reunion of them being apart for so long. Watching her, he took his first steps toward her cautiously. "Mother? It's me. Loki." When he walks close enough toward her, he tried to lay and hand on her shoulder. Hoping she would see him, hear him. Recognize him.

The Dwarves watched the scene and in awe as the raven haired man went to the pond and touched it, seeing all that they saw were all speechless. Not wanting to say a word.

Maleficent watched the fairies as she smiled to see them fly. As she heard Loki's voice, she frowned before her eyes widened and that she turned slowly around to see him. She made a face of disbelief as she examined him. His facial appearance as well as his hair. She kept this face on as she raised her well manicured hand and traced it down the side of his face. "Loki?", she whispered before she used her other hand to mirror the actions of her other one. She sighed in happiness before a smile came to her. Her motherly love smile. "You made it, my son", she said softly with unshedded tears of joy.

Eric watched in awe as he saw the scene before him. Was this the mother that Loki told him about? He made a couple of steps so he was in front of the group of dwarves to watch the pair before him.

[Jazz]

Watching Maleficent turn to see him, Loki too had tears but only formed. Seeing her look of disbelief and seeing her examine him and place a hand on his cheek. He smiled and nodded when she said his name. Feeling the other hand on his other cheek, Loki saw how happy she was and knew how she was feeling right then and there. He then wrapped his arms around her frame and hugged her tightly but not too tightly. Just showing his emotions freely. "I've missed you so much!" He said as he hugged her. He never felt so happy within his life.

The Dwarves watched all of this as some turned away to let them have their reunion alone. They maybe desperate to make everything work for them when it comes to living and surviving, but they did have manners and this was one of those times.

She searched his emerald green eyes, knowing that it was him. She sighed in relief as he nodded to the calling of his name. He was really here. Alive and well. Her time in the water thought that he would have been captured and she never see him again. She would have blamed herself for putting him in such danger. She felt him take her in a hug. It was a loving hug and she accepted it, wrapping her own arms around his neck. Again, he was taller than her. Her head going to about and above his shoulders, not including her horns. "I know", she answered him in her usual soft voice. She stroked his long black hair in a loving gesture.

Eric felt himself make a smile to himself as he watched them. He made a couple of steps to the pair, but not too close.

Loki didn't take much into the consideration of the height, only that she was here, she was safe, and alive. He missed her motherly gestures, how she would hug him, talk to him, help him, teach him. He missed all of it. He broke up the long hug to look at her, examine her. "How did you escape the Moors? I thought they destroyed everything. Turned it all to ruin." He though noticed Eric's presence and had looked to the man near them. He didn't mind him there. He was use to his presence, something he might be apart of him for sometime.

How much she missed him. His Raven black hair, his soft voice, and his childish mind. He was her whole world. Her companion. Breaking the hug as he did, she heard his question while he examined her. "Your friend, Diaval, my son. He saved me from the black magic of the queen. Only...he suffered in the blast", she said in sorrow. She turned to see Eric as Loki looked at him. "You", she said to him. Getting out of Loki's grip, she approached him in anger. "You! You savage, greedy, dirty man!", she shouted as she took a dagger from her cloak that was the same knife that Loki put on her body before freezing. As she walked at him, Eric backed away before his back hit a tree and the knife was at his throat. "Stabbed me in the heart. Betraying us!", she said with anger. In her mind, she thinks Eric is Thor...

[Jazz]

Loki lowered his head as she told him about Diaval. He felt sorrow for his companion. Then everything felt like deja vu all over as he saw his mother go after Eric. "Mother." He called to her but saw she was still approaching him and upset. He took charge and hastened toward them and gently took hold of her hand that held the dagger and gently pulled it away. "Mother. This isn't Thor. His Twin. He helped me escape the Queens brother and is helping me get to Vanaheim. To the former King Balder's father." He was calm, trying to help Eric from the wrong turned rage from him. "Please mother. He can prove he is not Thor." The fae looked to Eric in apology.

Of course Loki wasn't the only one who was now there when this confused commotion happened. The Dwarves even came to see what happened. They were confused to what happened since they came in when Loki was trying to get a dagger blade from Eric's neck.
