Name:Santiago Woods
Age:27
Description:Santiago is a famous jewel thief known in the city as “Psycho Gecko”. This is because Santiago looks, essentially, like a giant gecko. He’s five-foot-one, 140 lbs, with a generally humanoid body structure, a head like a Tokay Gecko, gecko-like hands, and a long, prehensile tail. His skin is blue with orange spots (like a tokay), and his eyes are orange with black slit pupils. Above his eyes are eyelashes like that of an eyelash pit viper. He has an incredibly-long tongue like a chameleon, and this causes him to speak with a lisp (like one speaking with a swollen tongue). His hands have gecko-like pads and webbing between the digits. Personality-wise, Santiago is a hyperactive kleptomaniac who steals for fun, not for profit. He is practically a ball of energy, and is constantly moving around. He is fairly annoying. Despite his propensity for trouble, Santiago is fairly good-natured and prefers stealth over straight-up violence.
Powers:Santiago’s reptilian physiology gives him several advantages over your average human. Firstly, he has fingers like a gecko. Hairs on these pad-like fingers allow Santiago to climb any flat surface and hang on effortlessly. His reptilian eyes give him full-color night vision, and he has a vomeronasal organ. This organ is found in snakes and some lizards, and gives them the ability to smell by flicking their tongue. This gives Santiago an extreme sense of smell. Eyelash pit viper pits also give him the ability to see in thermal vision. If in doubt, Santiago can see you and you can’t see him. His eyes move independently of one-another like a chameleon, giving him excellent senses. Furthermore, chromatophores in his skin allow Santiago to change colors like a chameleon. Santiago does this to show his mood, and can also change his color to help him blend in (such as turning black in the shadows). This does not give him active camouflage like Sam or Talia, but it does make him harder to see. Santiago also has a tongue longer than his entire body, and can use said tongue to grasp things from a distance. Santiago is not very strong muscularly, but he can deliver a very painful bite capable of breaking bones and his tongue is very strong.
Weakness-wise, Santiago’s nose is extremely sensitive, and punching him there causes him unimaginable pain. Santiago is also, while intelligent, uncontrollably attracted to shiny objects, so he can easily be trapped. Finally, he is fairly physically weak with the exceptions of his tail and jaws.
