If given enough time, and with a 1v1 fight, the Sovereign could beat a dreadnought. Provided it has enough ammo to do so

Other: The Courage is a devastating ship even though it only has missile system the rest of it’s weapons are energy and kinetic based. With less armor and less weapons than a Dreadnought it’s faster able to fight with Destroyers and Frigates. It’s energy shields are stronger than the average Dreadnought yet if shot through would reveal very little armor. However with the ship having been built to house a lot more personal than it’s current does the enemy would have burn through multiple decks worth of metal to even hit critical systems.
What makes the Courage unique is that it’s size allows it to vary its purpose to that of the fleet. It can fight like a Dreadnought or defend like a carrier, even able to to perform as a repair vessel to an extent thanks to having dedicated engineers on board. It’s major weakness is to groups of smaller faster ships or other Dreadnoughts. It cannot win a straight up fight. It can also accompany strike groups and serve and draw fire while it’s fighters protect the ships near it.

The Courage's mechs are rather small and used mostly for support, the one standout is the mining mechs. Used to harvest asteroids, ship pieces, and other space junk. Thanks to these large machines we can harvest raw materiel's and use them to produce ammo and replacement parts for ships. As for the smaller mechs they come in two forms, an older more armored model for defending the mining mechs. A more advanced model with variable energy weapons for combat in space. Both combat models have on board generators, energy shields, kinetic weapons and flight capability. They are also able to survive entry into atmosphere.
Variable siege tank, one Mars's best armored units. While weaker then most tanks in armor it's canon's output and range can change based off how it's set up. It can be locked down to fire as an artillery, it switch to walker mode use a light shot while becoming more maneuverable, and lastly in tank mode it fire a medium blast while going over smooth terrain.
Viper class APC, a unique vehicle designed with troop safety and care before speed. The APC is able take all forms of small arms fire and survive blast that would destroy heavy tanks. It has built medical tables with advanced first aid stations as well fold out gun racks for spare weaponry and charging stations for them all.

Skills: An ace pilot, James was also trained in ship to ship combat and ground operations however his talents lay in fleet command and tactical analysis. He prefers planning his mission before getting in to deep. Away Mission Equipment: Personal shield generator, standard body armor, kinetic rifle, and an old .45 1911 as a side arm.
Appearance:
Personality: James is tough, dependable and puts people before all else. He does however put his foot down and expect everyone to perform well under his command. He keeps order the simple fact he will do anything he would order of them. He’s calm and collected in a fight, often advising other and is willing to ask for help. He’s a team player and will crack down hard on those who don’t want to play by the rules.
Quick-Bio: James grew up on a distant colony on the very rim of known space. His home was one of the largest shipyards in the human colonies, Hephaestus, it decommission Colony ships and turned the materials into smallers ships. Hephaestus is renown for its fighters as well as the quality of the pilots they produce. James attended the planet's military academy training in all courses, while not the best soldier he is a genius commander and thinker.
When his home was attacked by pirates seven years ago he earned the nickname, Jack-boot. The commanding officer tried to trade the colony for his own life James shot him. After this he repelled the the attacker losing most of the defense cannons and fighters. He commandeered a colony ship and ordered it refitted with guns and additional shielding. When the pirates returned the faced something they had not expected, a ship of Dreadnought size. Opening fire with all guns the pirate frigates went down swiftly and the colony was saved. Jack then had the ship completely retrofitted as a Dreadnought/carrier hybrid.

Appearance:
Personality: Sarcastic and quick witted, Nora is Knights best friend and first mate. She is harsh judge of character and tough, the voice of caution to her more emotional Captain. However she does often drink with Knight down in his quarters, leading many to believe she is romantically interested in the Captain.
Quick-Bio: Growing up the daughter of two pilots Hall quickly determined her career of chose, however rather than become a member of the planetary defense corp she chose the Alliance academy. She trained in ship command hoping to one day captain a Dreadnought. However at the battle for Hephaestus both her parents were killed and Knight saved her from launching in fighter to go out and try to avenge them.
She joined him on the Courage and they carried out the defense of the planet and was one few Ensigns to be promoted and given the ship. The Alliance looked favorable upon there crew as they had pulled off a miracle with a ship that was supposed to be destroyed. Last year she decked an Admiral across the face and was demoted on the spot, she does regret the choice as the Admiral had just denied Knight the promotion to rear Admiral.

Personality: Lazy and prone to unwanted commentary, however very focused in battle. Calm and always cracking a joke, normally a bad one. The recent addition replacing so still treated as the new guy. Care's for the crew and is proud that this is tour as a ships pilot.
Quick-Bio: Born on Mars to very well off parents, he joined the military to ensure they will leave him there fortune as his father was an Alliance Admiral. Shortly after he became a pilot he found himself assigned to the Courage happy to fly an older model ship with a friendly and decent crew.

Skills: Ship gunnery commander and best shot on the bridge.
Appearance:
Personality: Flirty and friendly Hannah is the ships chief gunner and very well liked among the crew. An open book often the support for others to lean on in times of crisis. Hannah is never serious and the practical joker, however she has never dated anyone on the ship.
Quick-Bio: Growing up on Earth Hannah's parents were high level government officials. They spoiled while forcing her to have lessons in everything from manners to fencing. Eventually fed up she abandoned her family and joined the Alliance military. There she attended the academy proving her skill and eventually demonstrating her skills with gunnery Knight selected her to join from among her class feeling she would be a fine addition to the crew.
Hannah and Nora often bicker and have trouble being friendly outside of the bridge, to here Cormac tell it both of them love the Captain and one is pregnant with his child. After that rumor Cormac had all his uniforms turned pink just before an inspection, no one messes with Hannah and gets away with it.

Personality: Gruff but well respected, has always been rather friendly with Knight more than likely thanks to Matthews tour of duty with Knights mother. Always sits with his men and never acts above them, seems to always run head long into a fight after issuing order. Believe to have a death wish and is watched carefully.
Quick-Bio: Formerly a highly skilled and renowned commando until seven years ago an explosion killed his entire squad and took his arm. Surviving that he promoted and then promptly pushed out of special forces, after which he joined the Courage hearing tell that it need a good troop commander. Thus he took the best 3000 from among the men and formed the White Wolves, a large assault group able to break up and fight however needed. A versatile army for a versatile ship joining the Wolves is an honor only the best troops on the Courage get that chance. Each member gets a custom tattoo of a wolf howling in front of a moon to mark the occasion.

Personality: Quiet, polite, and patient are words that come to mind first. Anna doesn't talk much and only to certain people bridge crew, Major, and her soldiers. If anyone else can get her to speak it's considered quite the feat, people fear her as much they respect her.
Quick-Bio: A Hephaestus native she was with the local defense force when Knight called them to action. Using an old shuttle she and thirty others boarded a pirate frigate. There are only three survivors from that fight Anna, the pirate captain, and a another soldier whom she rescued. Anna then formed the a group known as the Raiders, there task was to assault enemy ships and disable them.
Her mobile fighting force became famous on the ship and currently has 500 members, each one hand picked by Anna. The Raiders attack ships and try to do as much damage as they can then escape before they can be cornered. As such they use cut down weapons and are trained to shoot and move in space.
With the Courage having been fully built on Hephaestus, most of it's crew hails from that distant colony and mother planet, Mars. The crew has some of the finest and most technical soldiers aboard it, they aren't the best unit but there smarter than most.
Soldiers of the unit are issued an advanced combat suit with life support and impact gel layering. However these units do not have personal shields or generators on board therefore they are left charging when not in use. The weapons on board are mix of more modern laser weapons with cool cartridges and tradition guns. Thanks to on board replicators the troops call for ammo drops when ever they need them.
The White Wolves are a special force used as assault force better than the rest of the men. Used as an invasion force or defenders if the ship is attacked. The Wolves are lead by Major Matthews and selected as best all around troopers having no real specialty able to do every task well though they are exemplary fighting force.
The Raiders the special forces of the Courage, a task force for assault and disabling ships. Zero-g certified and able to board ships without the need for boarding craft and they always attack and retreat before the enemy can mobilize a response. They are lead by Captain Skyett who hand picks her troops, they work in units breaching attacking critical systems and getting out before setting off the devices. These have helped the Courage capture more ships than it's destroyed in career as a ship.
Engineers the backbone of the Courage, most Engineers wear what they please as no one messes with the people who fix what you break. However while working most use the standard protective gear. The backpack they wear is actually a fold out exoskeleton for work in space. Magwell boots for walking in Zero-G and on board long range radio's in case they drift off or get separated from a work crew.
Pilots, the Hephaestus colony produces some of the best Star fighters and pilots in all the colonies. Pilots and there gunners are highly respected on the Courage every ship has a name and a story. With that comes many rights of passage and learning to fly with no fear. Since the Commission of the Courage Captain Knight has had his pick of pilots from his home planet as such he only takes the best. There gear is standard minus any custom painting or modifications they make to honor there home.

Peter can be a lot like the bossy older brother, meaning that since he’s been flying for most of his life, he feels that gives him authority over others. Quick-Bio: Peter grew up in rural England on Earth, racing small craft since he was big enough to reach everything. His dad was an engineer for a local spacecraft manufacturer, so Peter grew up around the vessels. His mother developed a mental disease when he was very young, and was put in a psychiatric hospital. Peter never saw her again. When Peter was 27, he decided to join the Galactic Alliance Navy as a potential aviator. He completed training as 3rd in his class. However, for some reason that he wasn’t informed of, Peter spent the next 5 years in the “Reserve”, meaning he saw no action during that time. Finally, he received the call and was put on a carrier for active duty

Painted black and red. Short wings, and a tinted canopy. Notable missions: None Other:Peter’s Interceptor has been heavily modified to make it one of the fastest and most agile ships in the fleet. However, because of this, it is extremely lacking in armor, relying almost entirely on it’s weak shield system. It also lacks weapons besides it’s two laser cannons.

I used to wonder why other people were less than savory when dealing with them, until you start noticing...they come in hundreds >.<! There's no end to them!

I'll read more carefully next time I make a CS. I'm a fairly experienced RPer. I'm just new to this particular site. Live and learn.

I co-own two roleplays (unfortunately one now dead, another... not doing great activity and organization wise).
The Gm is the same on both. There's a certain rule that someone had to add their favorite pie in the CS in order to be accepted. The rules were above the CS.
Every. Single. Applicant. Did not read that rule. None of them. The GM had to say "read the rules" for every single one, and the second time they got it. But seriously...
@ArenaSnow My issue with that is the rules will be about 15 things long and right in the middle with be a random thing to check. Heck I have talked to people who just use control f and search for the trigger words.
